So have I gone and lost my damn mind, or is there 400 million LBRY available right now. Setting a price at $200 million+ for a project in pre-alpha?

If I'm wrong, can someone explain the supply?

lol just shut up and mine.

If I'm wrong, can someone explain the supply? Seems catastrophically overvalued for early stage even with most funds locked (40℅)

I think that LBRY CREDITS looks like a great project, and hey, no ICO.

In other words 100% premine. Just like XRP.

99℅ is good enough.

Premises are so 2013. If you want to scam now do it like the Steem crew. Just buy up 95℅ of all coins at garage sale prices and them pump it  $100 million with $100k in funds, and cash out.

When the platform is completely ready?
Also I did not find an answer about the bounties. They can subsequently be withdrawn from the platform?

how would anybody know?...
the project still legit so calm down.

The project sound interesting but they premined 200 million coins for a coin that is currently worth 36cents. It doesn't make any sense for it to be valued so high.
IMO the cost in generating this coin the price should be $2 to $3 or more.

is it so hard to mine?
Nope very very easy.

You are right, this has very high risk, they can dump the coins when the price is high, it depends on the team is honest or not. I won't hold this for long term, cause miners can dump it to null.   Cheesy

Hey - one of the LBRY team here.

Not going to debate but happy to answer questions or concerns.

So according to coinmarketcap there are presently 2.7m LBC, but eventually there will be 400M.
Is that right and where can we see an emission curve?

Coin supply is already 400,259,536 so market cap at 0.002 btc is about 800,000 btc or usd 510,000,000.

Get ready for the dump.

"Many of you are now paying very close attention to our blockchain to see what we’re up to - which we very much welcome. ... did you happen to notice a 100,000 credit transfer to a Bittrex wallet on Thursday? Perhaps that came as a bit of a surprise?"

"Well, worry not. This doesn’t represent a nefarious plan to dump a bunch of credits on the market. Rather, it’s the result of a deal with a very well-known name in crypto to add LBRY credits to their platform. ...."

ha ha

The scam du jour is coins that store files on other peoples' computers. Thought siacoin was ridiculously overvalued until this came along.
wish they would send some to my wallet lol

i would be willing to agree with the marketing situation of any coin, it has been a few years that only a few coins have been put on the market that have an actual VALUE, everything is now how it is marketed and if the devs stay with it and follow trends or not! making a trend  only works once in a blue moon
