NVIDIA GPU Miner:

Let me know if you want this miner we have to pay developer bounty for it.

it would be great to have a nvidia miner!
i'm already on it with my main rig, but i still have one computer with two nvidia in sli(used to play games  Roll Eyes) and if we get a nvidia ccminer i would definetly put it to mine lbry.

TPRUVOT HAS RELEASED THE NVIDIA LBC MINER--

You can get it at www.cryptomining-blog.com, or "https:github.com/tpruvot/ccminer".  It works well, 50MH/s on a 750ti, 230MH/s on a 980ti.       --scryptr

Hey - one of the LBRY team here.

Not going to debate but happy to answer questions or concerns.

Also please visit us in Slack at slack.lbry.io - we are usually around.

Lastly, we are most certainly not a 'scam' - you can agree or disagree with our ideas, but please at least read more about the team and project at both blog.lbry.io and lbry.io

was there some sort of premine could some explain the rumor?

What rumor do you mean?

There is a pretty substantial premine. Those coins are already listed in the coin supply https://explorer.lbry.io/ but are supposedly controlled. The other thread has a suggestion to reduce that number, burn some of the premine.

The market cap is obscene https://lbry.io/news/$1.2b-market-cap-we-dont-care

The developers seem to be basing their project on connections rather than substance. Know who rather than know how https://lbry.io/news/mysterious-100k-lbc-revealed which kind of indicates it is going to be pumped and dumped in cycles.

It might be that they are plugged into Buterin or some other hotshot, somebody fasttracked them to Bittrex and now Poloniex even though their product does not even do anything yet. I personally think that these coins that are planning to store files on others' computers for pay are a scam. Storage is very cheap and getting cheaper. Why would you pay to store files on somebody's computer, who could decide to delete them, rather than store them much more reliably for about the same miniscule price? It is an attractive idea until you examine it.

Cryptocurrencies offer a lot and there will always be people who try to make an end run around the basic ethics of crypto by creating some ico or premine turdcoin, then using their connections to extract as much money as they can from it.

Enough good cheap coins out there, why buy something that is already expensive and will probably go to zero in a few years?

Thanks for the info.

LOUHIMO.CLUB welcomes LBRY Credits.
No registration required.
To start mining connect to:

stratum+tcp://louhimo.club:8006

Use your LBC wallet address as the workername and password can be anything.
For example, if you want to use static difficulty of 256 for your worker, use worker password d=256

An example batch file for AMD sgminer:
Code:
sgminer.exe --kernel lbry -o stratum+tcp://louhimo.club:8006 -u LBRYWALLETADDRESS -p d=256 -I 19 -w 64

I think that LBRY CREDITS looks like a great project, and hey, no ICO.

In other words 100% premine. Just like XRP.

Coin supply is already 400,259,536 so market cap at 0.002 btc is about 800,000 btc or usd 510,000,000.

Get ready for the dump.

"Many of you are now paying very close attention to our blockchain to see what we’re up to - which we very much welcome. ... did you happen to notice a 100,000 credit transfer to a Bittrex wallet on Thursday? Perhaps that came as a bit of a surprise?"

"Well, worry not. This doesn’t represent a nefarious plan to dump a bunch of credits on the market. Rather, it’s the result of a deal with a very well-known name in crypto to add LBRY credits to their platform. ...."
So I guess developers hold all the coins...

ha ha

The scam du jour is coins that store files on other peoples' computers. Thought siacoin was ridiculously overvalued until this came along.

So does it means that price of LBC can only go down from here?

Currently there are only less than a million coins in the market and as time goes more and more coins enters market (dev selling or bounties selling) so the inflation rate of LBC is what 1000% per year. Glad I did not buy into the hype.
