Same as me,i stopped advertising LBRY because I was waiting from last 2 months for invitation and still no reply from them officially unless saying wait more.I already invited 40+ people through my link but it seems just a waste of my time.

One problem with the way they ask for publishers is that there are a lot of people with multiple types of content, and they only allow one URL for the submission. Many people own multiple domains today.

And how many times did they say Bitcoin was dead? Haha, it's just some greedy miners dumping to make a profit, the coin still has true potential. there is no competitor right now or in the near future. Truth is that LBRY has a working concept, just needs some polishing, but it's already attracting a lot of attention for being such a young project!
