Mining Supply Chart
A community member recently completed a bounty that called for the creation of a mining supply chart which allows us to visualize how many LBC will be released into circulation and in what year. It also provides a quick reference into to the mining reward schedule which is currently in its last phase - a logarithmically decreasing emission schedule. The leftmost axis is the block reward, then the total supply of LBC, and then the inflation rate on the right. At the time of this update, the block reward is at 344 and is projected to be at 300 by 2020 and below 200 by 2025. We’ll be adding this information to the block explorer page in the coming weeks

Every quarter lbry team gives balance sheet on the premine you cant be more transparent than that it's obvious that the lbry team believes in lbry good things coming for lbry

Personally, I haven't seen a team that clearly transparent about the pre-mine fund. LBRY team did a good job keeping and managing the fund toward the developments of LBRY. It is only a few projects that make the pre-mine fund for a good usage. Mostly we know in the cryptocurrencies spaces there is a higher chance the project scam if the pre-mine fund exists, but we see the opposite in here.

The same people who love you tube will love Lbry when they discover it only a matter of time till you get well known people on lbry and that’s what will drive traffic too lbry and once it starts lbry will take off just like you tube did the lbry team has always been very transparent about the 400 million lbc premine it’s it the devolpmemt teams ineterests too make lbry as big as you tube and in time they just might

Wow that is really good news,  because many people preffer using smartphones over PC/notebooks - I hope it will add some value to LBRY and LBRY price, too.

You realise there's a whole economic systems with Bittube? if its not 100% its very close cause no premine or ico like here, they have to split the share to make everything work in the balance but one thing sure,is bittube ain't mathematically limited in time (premine will run out) or ain't influence by exterior entity cause its economically not self substainable.(when premine will run out,they will have to ask money from exterior people,and they will need to fill theirs needs,involving more manipulation possibility) Technically, lbry is just like youtube,another company that will get involve/request with more exterior entity and manipulate things,that call a corporation,that what we try to avoid in cryptocurrency in case you forgotten. Bittube fair emission,  real community run and decision vote avoid it, keeping the power,forever,into the hand of people who use it.

That I believe will be the next generation of 'youtube' in 5-10 years, something different but same at sametime,lbry is too close of ancient harmful business model that bring youtube today's problems

Having no economic is not an feature,sorry man. Viewer are reward,making more uploader coming, etc .this is a circle. Reward for lbry stopped since 2016 cause lack of developppent skills. After 2 years without getting on it they clearely can't make it. Now we're waiting bitcoin scientist developper to make it mass tx substainable then gonna implement it to lbry... realise how its far to be concrets ? its like predicting the Loto number for 2035  x date. Smell more bullshit than ever with the premine.

Look how Lbry is poorly artificially breathing,it need big buy wall to keep stable Lol otherwise its crashing more if you let it correct naturally.

I think they realize their own vision and it is not bad to see this project constantly developed with many updates, weekly newsletter etc, unfortunatelly we have bear market now so don't expect too fast gains  but I have a little space in my investment portfolio for LBRY

bittube does come with block reward share, and users aren't getting fully the monetization rewards whiles  LBRY give it 100%.

as far as I can see LBRY does a good job in term of openness for the non mined credit. they also give a quarterly report about it. and the community also does feel about it.

You know Bittube doing everything of that without premine or ico,in a very shorten time compare to lbry. Plus your voice are hear while here its a kind centralized dictatorship corporative business that only work only for their own interest(premine+mining long run unto a unrealisable project make good living scheme scam to be honest) and not user. How the %?&*(* they compare themself with youtube when they are EXACTLY build the same way as business,over same law,same country ? there's ZERO chance to see lbry overtake youtube this way. It just become a running gag how lbry try so hard so compare themself with youtube.

 Honestly nobody should support a coin that have premined,it just put a load of risk unto user hands. Developpers take no risk at all.

Besides extra income, There is a lot of YouTubers that whine about youtube demonization, and the fact shows youtube demonizations are getting stricter, many content creators frustrated about it. It makes  LBRY suits the content creators who want transparency and easier monetizations. Also, The creators who want less censorship LBRY has it all.

without leaving old platform, and joining new platform is great. as you know, writer will write anything in any platform he can write for income, right? so, by using LBRY platform they will get more income without leaving youtube

Tired of bullshit, 2 years of chantage...

this coin is not decentralized at all,but hyper centralized just like youtube lol;

blockchain protocol 'lbry' does seems to only store a key (from the data allow for each block)that activate the 'blobs' on network(chunck of 2mb data),most of this data is centralized into an internal core server hosted by lbry only(which user have no power to keep it alive or not for most of content since no incitative to download and store everything people upload(P2p is so old technology,remember emule or edonkey ? ya its dead.in other term data is not store on blockchain,but just a key, SO you need an centralized server for data in order to activate the 'decentralized keys') Premine is centralized funding, no concensus so entire decisionnal power is centralized too. Development is close source too,unless you are into core team you can't reasonably develop lbry, so again centralized,centralized and centralized.

Whats decentralized about this coin except what you copy paste from bitcoin (also delete some part to make it centralized and give you 100% control power, wow, so in other term you just keep the blockchain+(mining) as the only decentralized 'feature'(yeah its not a feature on 99% of other crypto but something very standard))?

next step having moderated forum and kick everyone who make your shilling a hard time cause its all bullshit in the end and we just make a bunch of looser living the great life with holiday and everything without worried on top of investor/user money. LBRy is just another pyramid to be honest
