I think the best way to learn a new language is to immerse yourself in the country with native speakers, so you are forced to leran, so you can get by.

This of course is not always practical so courses like rosetta stone have hugely improved in the last few years and are a great place to start.

Hmm my friend know my own language and english so he want to learn 1 more language so which you would prefer him german or french? I think german that it is better.

Tough one. German is spoken in many of the world's top economies including obviously Germany itself. French however is spoken in half of Africa, Canada and some parts of Asia too. While most of these are at the bottom of the 3rd world countries list, they can still prove to be important markets in the future.

Myself I'd pick German mainly cause of bias, but it would be a good option to know them both. Also in the EU French seems to be accepted as 2nd official language after English for some reason. Probably cause many of the institutions are located in Brussels which is a mostly French speaking town.

If you want to learn a new language, the most important thing you must have are will and dedication.
You must do it daily otherwise you'll forget about it.
The best way to learn is taking a class as you'll have teacher and friends you can hold conversation with.
You can learn by yourself but it will be harder than taking a class (my experience)
True, we just have to practice regularly, just like our own language, without us knowing we practice regularly so we have language

Move to the country where you want to learn the language. Easy job , you will speak the  language within 6 months.

That is a good idea, but I think I can't learnthe language  that I want within 6 months and even I move there. Maybe for 2 years I can learn the language, it is German, I want to learn German, they day it is the hardest one, so I think I really need a lot of time.

ok german is quite hard, especially the articles "der/die/das" and all the other stuff, to learn them you have to live here or spent a lot of time in this language. Are you planning to move to germany?

Honestly I had no clue about English, but I just tried to write articles, used Google translator, played games, and honestly that goes fast.

I am happy where I am today, I still need to learn a lot, but I am just solid. Of course that is just mine experience. Short language couse can help a lot also.

Or just take a book and start with basics, check words in translator, and it will come. Books are great because words in there are mostly in perfect language of that country, what is great way to learn new language.

It is difficult for me to learn the language. It probably depends on specifics of functioning of our brain. Some people easily given technical science, other humanitarian. I know a man who very long ago emigrated to America, but still never learned English. And I know another person who has never been to America, but works as a translator from English.

Learning new language not only can help you prevent certain diseases in old age, it also activates different parts of your brain when you speak it and you even start to think differently. I've read some research and scientists say that bilingual children are easier to educate.

Yes. Another study of foreign languages contributes to the development of concentration and interaction with other people. Those who know several languages communicate more easily with other people and have a good memory.

i speak french, spanish, german very well, i dont think i can learn any more languages.

If you want, you can learn many languages. There is an opinion when one learns one language in an ideal, then others will be easier to learn.
Most likely just after studying one language, a person has already mastered his learning technology and therefore, it may be easier for him to teach others. Although each has its own specificity and complexity.

I think that if a person is able to learn one language, then he will easily learn a few others. The main thing is to strive for this.

Awesome! and you speak English as well. I  wonder how did you take it? Knowing four languages is amazing. Anyway, I have read that a person who knows more than 1 language tends to have split-personality and may unconsciously change personality when he or she switch languages. I wonder if this is true? And if you have ever feel that something like that happen to you? I hope you don't mind me asking.

Well depends now . If you want to learn how to pronounce the words you can watch a video on youtube with subtitles .
Or if you want to teach , just hire a teacher through skype ,
