I agree with that learning crypto trading is not just easy. I learned cryptotrading by learning a mistake first but i develop myself not to do again because learning mistake will make you to be success in the end.
In my opinion, the best way to learn trading is to do real trading with a small amount of money, as the time passes you would learn trading. It would be helpful for you, if you watch a few youtube videos.
Stop going to youtube dude, its filled with shitcoin shills promoting their own coins. If you resistant enough to that and extract the good skills then its good.
Try to stay away from youtube videos because they are only shilling shitcoins for their own gains. Same with reddit - its the breeding ground for shills and FUDstars.

I don't believe in investing in only one coin. Diversification is key to spread risk and maximize profit.

That is actually one part of trading and not all part of trading and those are just even some principles one should pay attention to anyway when it comes to trading. To learn, you just need to get in tune with how to do series of analysis as much as you can study and then practice them bit by bit to see which strategy is going to suit you better with experience. But while trading we cannot focus on multiple coins, that is the reason most investors do go only one or two coins. But while investing we may follow multiple coins effectively as per how I do manage more than 25 altcoins along with bitcoins.

Basics are important no doubt and for that you dont need to follow the market at first. An actual experience in trading is a good start for us to learn about the simple fundamentals and basics of trading. Aside from having the courage of learning about trading, we must also try it for it will be a helpful tool for us to do better in this field.
The way a lot of you talk about experience makes me wonder if you actually indeed started trading with just experience and learned from it which I can totally disagree with you it is not possible. You cannot become a Doctor or a Lawyer with experience as you have to learn first. It is after learning and as you start practicing all that you have learned gradually that experience then comes to play and you keep getting better and getting professional at what you do.Learning in trading must be an infinite process hence we cannot definite what to learn and how long that process may go on. We need to trade and learn simultaneously so that we could improve our trading performances. Most of the live streams on Youtube just a bunch of people promotes shitton of coins so they could sell their bags after they lure you to buy. I don't know why you said "useful" but in reality it just 50:50 chance where you can't always win. 
Learning how to trade is not that hard with the internet. A good place to start is baby pips. There are also a lot of books online.
