-snip-

Nobody is underestimating the other teams, they are all very strong, see Roma and recently Bologna. As a Juventus fan I am happy that someone else understands that the only team that can snatch the scudetto from the unpleasant Inter is us (obviously on the unpleasant joke).
Is not easy, Inter is very strong.
I admit that recently Juventus has been putting quite a lot of pressure on Inter because of that, there is a strong push if Juventus wants to win the Scudetto and will not let Inter win the title easily and it looks like the competitive rivalry between these two clubs will continue until it is close to end of the season and it is very difficult to determine who will succeed in winning the title, while Roma and other clubs will certainly continue to try to improve their performance to win the series A title.
But I am a little doubtful about Roma even though they have provided evidence that there has been quite good improvement, but if I look at it, Roma still lacks reliable players who can help provide strength in the attack line even though they already have Lukaku, but there must be other players who can provide strong support to perform perfectly in every match.

It's not dislike, but being honest! Juventus is strong and has very strong players, Juventus' problem is partly its coach who proposes a strictly defensive game and in some ways Juventus' matches are very boring, the tactical scheme seems to be a replica of the one proposed by Atletico Madrid, a lot of defense and then strikes when the opportunity presents itself. Juventus is Inter's true and great rival and I am convinced that it will be a duel until the end of the championship

yes I know, obviously I was joking in a nice way! Cheesy
maybe you are right, but I cant speak badly of Allegri, in the end he managed last year practically perfectly!!!!
I cant say anything, I am still satisfied with how he works, he is a true professional one

obviously we joke, we make fun of the opposing fans, it's all there and that's the beauty of cheering. It's true, Allegri did well in the end, despite the 10-point penalty in the league, but his path in the Champions League was disastrous, he was unlucky in the Europa League and lost the Italian Cup final. but he had finished third in the championship. This year he had no commitments with the European cups and I honestly would have expected more from this Juventus team

I have to be honest and sincere, Juventus are not up to Inter`s standards. Inter plays many more games and is in much better shape than Juventus who we remember they are chasing
I think Inter will win the Scudetto this year, for sure 90%

It's almost official, Inter are purchasing the footballer Buchanan from Club Brugge on a permanent basis for an amount close to 12 million euros, to replace the injured Cuadrado who will be missing for many months.
Napoli instead officially sold Elmas to RB Leipzig for 25 million euros

This is what happens during title race, everybody is struggling to gain points, some for survival and some to get a slot for European football and at such things like this are bound to happen so inter should brace up and get over this defeat and try to get back to winning ways so as to stay on track for the title, moreover they several other big rivals to face in the second round of the league and should rather concentrate on getting back to earning points again.
There only 1 challenger at the moment that Inter Milan must eliminate, namely Juventus, which has a very close point difference and I still have hope that Inter can immediately provide a large point difference for Juventus and for Juventus who want to catch up on points, Inter should be able to be more consistent because in next match until the end of the season will have many obstacles to overcome and Inter much better prepared to face these obstacles because they have many reliable players.
I'm not underestimating other clubs like Napoli, Milan etc. but it's just that the difference in points is very far and it's difficult to catch up with the difference in points, whereas several clubs under Juventus have experienced a decline in performance and have many problems that haven't been resolved, such as Napoli having problems regarding the coach and Milan. There is a shortage of reliable players so it difficult to maintain consistency while the problems experienced have not been resolved.

Juventus can be really unpredictable sometimes. It is definitely because of their low-scoring character this season. This cost them 2 points in the Genoa match indeed. In the Roma match ahead I wonder how things will go. I still think Juventus will stay strong in big matches like this. They stood strong against Inter home for example. I mean they didn't lose to Inter home a month ago. All in all Inter are a very productive team but Juventus managed to kept things under control and conceded only once.

Technically Juventus should be able to keep Roma at even 0 goal in the match ahead. Mourinho will probably prefer a defensive game plan so Juventus should be able to go for the win by controlling the match.  Smiley

Juventus have more weaknesses compared to Inter when it comes to the games against smaller teams. But of course this is mostly due to Juventus' not being a great scorer this season. Because there are only 26 goals scored by them in 17 games. For a team trying to hold on to the title race I don't think this is good enough.

Inter have been much more productive than them since the start of the season. I can comfortably say that they are the best at not only scoring but also defending. The point difference is still not too much though (4 points). But this gap can get bigger easily if Juventus don't make some improvement in their scoring skills.
I think at the moment Inter Milan can be said to be productive because not many key players are injured, but we don't know in the future where they will face clubs not only in the Italian league but also in the UCL, there could be some of their key players injured of course. Disturbing Inter Milan's consistency in winning the title this season, I think Juventus always has the opportunity to overtake Inter Milan at the top of the standings.

It's just that Juventus needs to wait for Inter Milan to make a mistake at the end of the season, because Juventus only focuses on the Italian league matches, not playing in other European leagues, so the performance of their players is better maintained than Inter Milan, but whoever will be the champion, they are the best, I think. also not sure that inter milan will win the title in the season because the difference of four points is not too far for Juventus to catch it.  Grin

Not only does it have more weaknesses than Inter, but also fewer excuses. Let's remember that Inter also plays a super demanding cup: the Champions League. While Juventus only plays the Italian championship, so you understand very well the difference in performance from this, from the commitments of each team.

It's true that so far Inter have had more significant commitments than Juventus who only had commitments for Serie A and the Italian Cup. Inter, on the other hand, was involved in Serie A, the Italian Cup, the Italian Super Cup and the Champions League. but soon Inter will also find themselves competing only for Serie A as they have already been eliminated from the Italian Cup, in January there will be Super Cup matches and the path to the Champions League is very tough

Juventus weakness is their goal productivity which look very different from Inter Milan which is able to score a lot of goals when facing average clubs. Inter have scored a lot of goals so far, namely 41 goal from a total of 17 match. Even if you look at the statistical data which is more in control of the top scorer Inter Milan players such as Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Hakan Çalhanoğlu have each contributed a lot to Inter this season even the defenders that Inter has are no less good in the back line. Inter Milan is able to maintain the defense very well so so far they have only conceded 7 goals. This is what caused Inter Milan to become very strong so it is only natural that Inter is the strongest candidate to win the title because Juventus still have to improve their front line because Juventus back line is already quite good.

Goal productivity is the main point that Juventus must improve if they want to compete with Inter Milan in the race for the Scudetto because if Juventus does not immediately improve it, they will be worried that they could suffer defeat when face with a club that is capable of creating lots of goals opportunities.

Clubs like Bologna can always put pressure on top clubs like Inter Milan, but the pressure is from very strong defense, making it difficult for Inter to score more and in fact, Inter always has the opportunity to score, but unfortunately, Inter milan seems less aggressive, so they are confident Inter milan players are not big enough and this means they are not focused on scoring.

We probably don't need to worry about yesterday defeat and we should support Inter to continue to maintain their position in Serie A and in Champions league and for Juventus I'm not too worried because Juventus has not been very consistent and sometimes their performance is still unsatisfactory from 5 matches they can only get 3 wins. and for the point difference currently Juventus has a difference of 4 points but today I am sure Inter can beat Lecce and get 3 points to give a bigger difference.
With the defeat against Bologna and Inter being eliminated from the Coppa Italia, they only have to focus on improving all their front lines to make them sharper so that when they focus on the UCL and Serie A they can really perform optimally.
We all know that Inter hopes only remain in two competitions, namely the UCL and Serie A, but in these two competitions it is not easy to be dominated because the UCL itself has great team and of course it will make things difficult for Inter.
But if we learn from last season, there is big possibility that Inter can play well again until they reach the final, this is the hope of all of us Inter Milan fans.
For Serie A itself, there is always Juventus who can knock it down at any time and keep Inter far from winning the title, but at the moment it cannot be confirmed whether Juventus will be able to get rid of Inter until the competition ends.
Juventus will be able to give Inter big surprise at any time and when this happens, it is certain that Inter may really experience tough pressure for the Serie A title this season.
Many people are also Juventus fans who believe that their proud team can beat Inter and win the title this season. If this happens and next season Juventus can play in the UCL it will be very interesting because Juventus will definitely take revenge because this season they failed to play in the UCL because of the problems that occurred last season regarding the scores they got.

Kenan Yildiz has become the youngest foreign player to score for Juventus in team history. His goal was quite an impressive one as well.  Smiley  He is only 18 years old now and I think he has a good potential too. He can find a place for himself in this team but he really needs to work hard to get the shirt from Vlahovic in the starting 11.   Grin

But as far as I can see Kenan Yildiz is more of a second striker rather than a centre-forward. After this goal we would probably see him more in the starting 11. Juventus should be thankful for Vlahovic in this match too as he was the savior to get those 3 points.

Good for him! I have been following his development since I saw him on a Football Manager game.  Grin  He really has a bright future. He couldn't found much playing time before this match so the number of matches he played can be misleading. He was able to play for only a few minutes or so before. But in this match things changed and he used this opportunity in a great way.

Now that you mention Juventus their next match is a big one. They are hosting Roma. I have checked out the odds of the match and saw Juventus being quite favoured. But their odds are still above 2.00. Can this be a close match? It can really be like that. It depends on how effective Juventus will be about breaking Roma defense actually.

Because Mourinho would surely adopt a counter-attack style against Juventus in Turin. Juventus can have big difficulties in scoring the first goal sometimes. But one way or another I still think Juventus will win.

Round 17 Serie A
  • Hellas Verona 2
    Cagliari 0

  • Inter 2
    Lecce 0

  • Bologna 1
    Atalanta 0

    Frosinone 1
  • Juventus 2

    Torino 1
    Udinese 1

These are today's results in Serie A
Inter maintains the top of the table with +4 points on Juventus second in the table
It's an exciting head-to-head, a chase where the chaser and the chased cannot make any false steps
honestly it makes me laugh and have fun

On the other hand, Atalanta is bad, but Bologna is in a magical phase of crazy form and can really work magic, they want the cups at all costs I see

@Hirose Uk this defeat maybe a blessing in disguise for Inter because now they can focus more on Serie A and hopefully they strengthen themselves in the January transfer window. Furthermore I feel that they should try and win the league title rather than focusing on winning the champions league as that competition will be really difficult to win.
