Spalletti said that he wouldn't be able to maintain success at Napoli anymore as he didn't find that strength anymore. This was the reason why he left the team. But right after that he started to manage Italy national team he made an interesting statement. He said that he had a president who can at least bring the players of his choice from now on.

It looks like there was something else behind that parting with Napoli.  Smiley  Anyway his departure has affected Napoli negatively so far. Rudi Garcia started decent first but these days there is a significant drop in their effort level.

Rudi Garcia has experience with Roma in the Serie A before. His time there was really good too. I hope the same thing from him at Napoli also.

Excellent coaches have passed through Napoli in the last 15 years, Mazzarri, Benitez, Ancelotti, Sarri, Spalletti, and now Rudi Garcia. With the exception of Spalletti who won a Scudetto, the others who managed to bring a trophy to the trophy cabinet were Mazzarri (Italian Cup) and Benitez (Italian Cup - Italian Super Cup). Napoli has been very competitive since 2009, evidently those who won and did not want to stay did so because their president is not an easy man to please. We'll see how Garcia behaves this year, honestly I haven't seen good performances in these first games.

This year there seem to be fewer teams competing than in the previous season.
I see more battle and fight for places in the cups, some teams need to play in the cups and will fight with all their might (see Juventus)
It still looks very interesting as a football season this year

it will certainly be a season full of twists and turns, I'm sure of it! Last year Napoli practically always played for first place, this year the positions will mix often. As you well said, Juventus will fight tooth and nail and with the teeth to at least gain access to the European cups, Inter Napoli Lazio and Fiorentina will be the teams that will play more matches than all the other teams, because they will play the Italian Super Cup

this commitment will obviously bring extra tiredness to their legs, and they will also have to hope that no injuries occur

@Lillominato89 I believe that Inter will focus more on winning the Serie A then any other competition because they have an excellent chance to take a huge lead and secure the top spot for themselves and leave the other teams way behind. Also you’ll have not mentioned Roma but I feel that Roma can fight with other team’s due to the partnership between Dybala and Lukaku and thus I won’t be surprised if Roma manage to occupy one of the top 4 spots by the end of this new season.

I also think that Inter will focus mainly on the championship rather than on other competitions, but the Champions League allows them to receive large amounts of money, so I think they will at least aim to get through the groups and then on the championship! news had come out regarding the cash prizes allocated by President Zhang for the passage to the round of 16 to encourage the players to give their all on the pitch. For Inter, getting through the group stage also serves to reduce the enormous debts that the club has

Napoli is paying (it annoys me to say I said it, but it's like this) for the wicked choice to change coach
nothing new under the sun, this year they will only catch fish in the face
I would say a more than deserved situation given the shit they did with Spalletti

As far as I know Napoli didn't try to replace or sack Spalletti but what happened was, Spalletti chose to take a break. So yes, with Spalletti choosing to rest like that, then of course even if Napoli try to give Spalletti a new contract with an increased salary at least it won't work either. Unless, that is, Spalletti pushes Napoli for a pay rise and Napoli refuse, then of course it would be a wrong decision and one that he would regret this season. But apart from that, I personally don't have high hopes for Napoli this season, even if Spalletti is still Napoli coach this season but still, I personally believe Napoli will decline this season.

The honest thing is in the last season, the other teams were not consistent enough. And Napoli was able to take advantage of that. They were able to win a lot of matches that they were not supposed to to be honest. This season it is different. This season all the teams are very interested in performing well and also very interested in competing for the league title. That is already bad news for Napoli. And on top of that, they also had a new coach this season. A new coach is always going to be a problem because the players will have to cope with new tactics. They are currently in the sixth position on the table. They will have to improve quickly if they want to successfully defend the title.

Its a very tough task for Inzaghi as Inter coach to have the right plan and strategy to maintain the quality of his players performance to be able to continue their performance in the UCL and also maintain their position in series A. I think Inzaghi must have 1st and 2nd tier players, I mean It is better to have a composition of players to focus on UCL matches and not use them for Series A matches. so the physical quality of the players will be maintained and each player will not feel tired when they have to focus on these 2 competitions.
just hope that Inter can break the record again this season to get the title in series A and can also get a trophy in the UCL later, even though it is very impossible to get a title in the UCL, at least Inter past experience can still provide an opportunity to advance to the final round.

In upcoming match, Inter will compete again to get another win when they play against Empoli, which is very clear, this away match will give Inter additional points because we all know how bad Empoli performance is, which is a place for top teams to get points.

I would say that it is a difficult task for all coaches and not just for Inzaghi. Giving a certain continuity to the team and its performances is not an easy thing and it is not something you do in a few days.
Certainly following the team for many years with a long-term plan helps a lot, see Guardiola.
Regarding Empoli, they are last with 0 points, for Inter it is a very easy match. I think.

But still, even though Inter will be more focused in Serie A but at least, Inter also still have to keep trying to rotate players because Inter are also still playing in the Champions League group stage. It seems like it would be very bad if Inter surrendered in the Champions League, because even though Inter prioritized Serie A but I am sure, that Inter will still have efforts to be able to advance to the next round also in the Champions League. By having such a busy schedule, then I personally not so sure Inter will be consistent with consecutive wins in Serie A. Therefore, although Inter still have a chance to be at the top of the Serie A standings, but I'm sure the points gap with the team in the second place will not be much different either. But let's just wait, because I'm sure Juventus will have a better focus this season for the scudetto.

Now Napoli are making an effort, even badly in the cup, it will be very interesting to see the evolution
Making Spalletti angry was not a smart move, Victor is also suffering a lot, and this will cause damage to his career.
For permit a team to win, new coach need to work a lot. Not good situation.

Inter are certainly the strongest team in Italy at the moment, little to say about it. It is no coincidence that she is often cited as the probable winner of the scudetto. Last year he surprised me by reaching the final and he played a pretty decent final too.
So I really think that this year she will win the coveted championship, there are no stories for the others.

it's too early to talk about Inter winning Serie A, not because they don't have the strength to do so but simply because this year 4, or 5 teams will most likely compete for the title, Inter started very strong, and Milan has an excellent team and has lost only one match so far and at the hands of Inter, Juventus has no commitments in European cups and will concentrate only on the championship, Napoli are reigning champions but they started off limping, Roma is certainly the least likely to win the final but in my opinion, he will fight until the end. but there are still many games and anything can happen and shuffle the cards in play again.

You are right, but even though the season is just kicking up, your performance at the beginning of the season also does matter and if a team starts well, it helps position the team properly in the race, So Inter Milan is in a much better position than any of their competitors this season because they have been doing incredibly well. However, they need to watch their back because the points margin this very season in Serie A could be a tight one and a slight point drop will deny a team the opportunity to lift the trophy.

Right! I fully agree with you, starting well puts you in a commanding position, but there are many direct clashes to be played, and so far Inter have only played one direct clash, the one against Milan. in my humble opinion I believe that estimates on who can win must be made after all the direct clashes in the first round, before it is highly difficult to give certainty. Inter are certainly the number one candidate for final victory, but who knows if they will live up to expectations

Although you say there are five teams that will fight for the title but honestly, I think in the end later it's only about two teams or maybe three teams that will remain strong in the top three. Also, it doesn't matter that their points gaps at this moment are still close because of course, as time goes on their points gaps will become more varied and won't always be close. Therefore, as time goes by, of course there will be moments when these teams get unexpected bad results, and this will make their points gap even wider.

obviously the fight for the title will be reduced to 2 or max 3 teams in the final part of the tournament, but what I wanted to convey is that there are 4 or 5 teams that have all it takes to win Serie A, and currently it's difficult establish who wins, we can only make more or less accurate estimates, but we will have a better overview during the second round, when half of the direct clashes have been played and we can already establish who will be the real contenders for the title of "champion of Italy"

well, finally Roma got a good result when they hosted Empoli and I think those who bet on a handicap of -2 or more got very big odds but I dont remember what the odds were for -2.
with the 7 scores that Roma were able to score against Empoli, it was as if Roma had started to increase the player solidarity that Roma fans had been waiting for and yes, I really appreciate how Mourinho provided a very good strategy in that match and managed to beat Empoli with a very good score this big.

next hope is that Roma must be consistent with their current performance and still hope that Dybala and Lukaku will start when they play away with Torino in the upcoming match If we just look it at a glance and predict that statistically Roma is superior to Torino, but I doubt whether Roma has perfect stability at this time? lets just see what Mourinho will do in the next match.

an incredible result was achieved, even if the opponent is very weak. At the moment Empoli has zero points so this shows how strong they are.
I think they will go to Serie B this year, it seems like a dead team
