Inter hadn't started so well since the 2015/16 season with five wins in the first five games of the championship, when Mister Mancini was at the helm of the team. It's certainly a nice advantage to be with full points but it shouldn't necessarily be seen as potential. winner of the tournament, in 2015 it wasn't Inter who won the scudetto but Juventus, just for statistics! I am fully convinced that championships are won by beating direct rivals and so far Inter have only beaten Milan, we will see later in the season how Inter and coach Inzaghi will behave

It?s not just a points advantage, it?s also a moral advantage
look at Napoli last year, they were at the top the whole time and this allowed them to have an advantage from the point of view of emotions and morale which allowed them to continue in this positive wake
It?s not trivial, but it has a great chance of winning the Scudetto, I am referring to Inter of course.

Of course, winning always brings the players emotions, emphasis and awareness of their own strength, I don't doubt any of this, but thinking that starting the championship with 5 victories and saying that Inter will win the scudetto like what happened to Napoli last year could bring bad surprises at the end of the championship, let's remember that Inter are called "crazy" and there's a reason, in Italy we know it very well! and unfortunately I speak as an Inter fan, I'm happy with the really excellent start but the past has taught me to be cautious, Inter could make a big mess at any moment

Conceding only 1 goal in the five matches that have been played, is clearly an achievement and a great result for Inter at this moment. So yes, even though it's still early season and there are still many other tournaments ahead, but if Inter prioritizes Serie A then it is still very possible for Inter to be able to maintain a very good trend like this in Serie A. Because let's be honest, when a team has managed to win with clean sheets, it is clear, I think the team has a big chance of winning the title this season. Even though competition will still occur, but in the end the team that is able to not concede too often has a better chance of winning the trophy.

Yes, I have to say that Inzaghi's current Inter amazes me with their continuity
Let's say it's moving away from the "thorn in the side" level to the "adult team" level.
I could start betting on Inter matches again if he follows the trend and if he follows the trend the Scudetto is his, won with merit

Because anyway, so far this season it also seems that only Milan wich have a good ability to be able to compete with Inter in the title race. But the fact is, that Inter have also previously managed to beat Milan with a big score too. Therefore, although Inter will still play in the Champion League and also in the Coppa Italia later but still, I believe at this moment Inter really have a good chance to be a strong candidate for the Scudetto. Because yes, I also consider the performance of other teams, and of course because at this moment Inter are also still at the top of the standings with consecutive wins. Then of course, I personally do not hesitate to say that about Inter this season.

Everything is going fine for Inter. They beat Empoli by 1-0 away this time. It was a game under their control during 90 minutes therefore the score shouldn't be misleading. Empoli newly sacked their manager so I wasn't expecting them to do much thing against Inter. They were the worst team of the season until then.

This means that Empoli has a better defense than Milan. ha ha. Tongue
It was a result that really hurt me to see my favorite team being defeated with a score 5 - 1. Inter were only able to win by 1 goal from Empoli. This results, makes me think, what's wrong with Milan? Isn't Pioli given the freedom to bring in players he thinks suit his strategy, but why, his strategy is so easy to beat by Simone Inzaghi in 5 derbies in a row? Doesn't Pioli realize that the weakness of the formation he used against Inter Milan is it already has a scheme known to Inzaghi, but why his used the same pattern and strategy all the time, and doesn't pay attention to how to stop Inzaghi's strategy?
Yes, in my opinion, this match is also a bit strange, Inter should be able to score more than one goal because Empoli is a club that is far at the bottom of the standings. Roma alone can score 7 goals against Empoli, why is Inter class only 1?? It's really strange even though Inter has quite great players compared to Roma.
Empoli is a clubs that is not that strongs compared to Milan, Empoli actually has a strong defense line but they have not been able to appear impressive and confident in this league so they have a lot pressure so it is difficult to face the matches they will playing.
It's very likely that Empoli will enter the relegation zone because in five matches he didn't wins at all and didn't get any points at all, This club is very worrying Cry

It 5 wins in 5 games now. This is like the copy of Napoli's last season. Only the actor is different this season.  Grin  I wonder whether we can see a similar level dominance by Inter also. Honestly I don't hope so because it is more exciting when we still see a title race on the final weeks. By the way Milan also won and hopefully they can fight for the title to the end.  Smiley
Empoli looks less threatening and didn't put up much of a fight. It was another walk in the park for Inter Milan and they dominated the game from beginning to the end to seal a win. I think It's early from the few matches to see them winning the league. They are on top of the table, they have scored 14 goals and conceded just 1 goal which shows that their defence and forward line are solid. However, the champions league has just started and Italian cup matches will follow, their performance in the Italian seria a will be dependent on how the manager can rotate the squad to achieve the required results and how fit the team is or less injury worries they have.

Sassuolo-Juventus 4-2
The defeat against Sassuolo was clearly very painful for Juventus, as this was their first defeat in Serie A. Before the match against Sassuolo, Juventus had only conceded 2 goals but in front of Sassuolo Juventus conceded 4 goals. Juventus performed poorly in this match. Even after the match, Massimiliano Allegri admitted that his players were not fully focused in this match.

yes Juventus were absolutely not focused during this match! this can also be seen in the incredible own goal scored by Gatti at the end of the match, when Juventus could have grabbed a draw when the score was 3-2. Juventus must work more on mentality than on tactics, as the team is very competitive but Allegri is unable to highlight the qualities of his champions

yes but I say, if it's not focused on the championship where should it be focused?
You don't have any cups, if you start losing even easy games how can you expect to go to the Champions League?
I don't understand, it seems so stupid to me to lose against Sassuolo with the championship (serie a) as your only commitment.

Rudi Garcia has experience with Roma in the Serie A before. His time there was really good too. I hope the same thing from him at Napoli also.

Of course, there will always be secrets and other reasons behind all that but what is clear is, basically to defend the title is a difficult job. So, even though ( if ) for example Spalletti is still the head coach of Napoli at this moment but still, I personally remain convinced that Spalletti also will not be able to defend the title this season. So yes, because at this moment Napoli have changed coaches, then of course everyone will blame Rudi Garcia for the failure and or decline in Napoli performance this season. While for me personally, of course I consider it to still be a normal result for Napoli so far this season, and no one is to blame for Napoli decline in performance this season, because I think it is still normal result.

Juventus must work more on mentality than on tactics, as the team is very competitive but Allegri is unable to highlight the qualities of his champions
firstly, I will say that Juventus defense line when playing at Sassuolo home ground was very bad, there were lots of gaps that could give Sassuolo attacking players opportunities to break through to Juventus goal. furthermore, Juventus defense experienced a lot of miscommunication, such as a wrong ball pass which ended up with Gatti putting the ball into his own net.
on one hand, I think that Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny looked really bad in this match, he did not want to try to secure the ball in the net when the ball was knocked over but he failed to catch it, but he just kept quiet and did not want to chase the ball and twice I saw it like this and it was very clear I blamed Juventus defeat a bit on the defense and goalkeeper.

btw, the Empoli vs Inter Milan match was a bit boring because even though it was against a team that was not too strong, Inter failed to score more, but still I will admire Inter success in getting additional points.

Yesterday there were 3 other matches
Milan-Verona 1-0
Sassuolo-Juventus 4-2
Lazio-Monza 1-1

Milan won but suffered a lot, a victory that can bring serenity within the group, after the bad defeat in the derby, Juventus lasted a few minutes and then disappeared from the field, a bad performance despite not having the weekly fatigue of European cups, they played really badly, Lazio on the other hand continued their unlucky period, they played well but were caught again halfway through first half, Sarri must find quick solutions

This year there seem to be fewer teams competing than in the previous season.
I see more battle and fight for places in the cups, some teams need to play in the cups and will fight with all their might (see Juventus)
It still looks very interesting as a football season this year

it will certainly be a season full of twists and turns, I'm sure of it! Last year Napoli practically always played for first place, this year the positions will mix often. As you well said, Juventus will fight tooth and nail and with the teeth to at least gain access to the European cups, Inter Napoli Lazio and Fiorentina will be the teams that will play more matches than all the other teams, because they will play the Italian Super Cup

this commitment will obviously bring extra tiredness to their legs, and they will also have to hope that no injuries occur

Now Napoli are making an effort, even badly in the cup, it will be very interesting to see the evolution
Making Spalletti angry was not a smart move, Victor is also suffering a lot, and this will cause damage to his career.
For permit a team to win, new coach need to work a lot. Not good situation.
Well this is where you can actually see what a team is made of, Napoli were unstoppable last season, I don't know why now they have dropped so much in performance, for me it is one of those teams that should defend their championship well, no way Maybe it was just the magic of a single season, now the Italian teams are very well reinforced, each one, I would say that even Juve, which is in a bad situation, is increasing its level, what catches my attention the most is that Napoli is not comfortable, so this makes them get up anyway, I know that last season the fact that they took those 14 points from Juve helped them a lot, that's how Napoli managed to establish itself in the first places, so this It is something that can be seen well from the point of view of having pure luck, for now Napoli must do many more things, they have to have more desire to do things better and thus maintain the level, because they have many competitions to prove that It wasn't just luck that they won the Scudeto.

'It's strange to end a game without scoring' - Osimhen declares after going

Quote
Speaking after Napoli's 2-1 victory over Sporting de Braga in their Champions League opener on Wednesday night, Victor Osimhen admitted that it was strange that he did not get on the scoresheet against the Portuguese setup.
However, the Napoli number 9 was delighted to help Napoli secure all three points in their Champions League opener.

Osimhen has now gone twenty four days without finding the back of the net for the Parthenopeans after firing blanks in back-to-back matches against Lazio, Genoa and Sporting de Braga.

The 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner was clinical at the start of the new Serie A season, where he registered three goals in his first two games, and was the leading marksman in 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying with ten goals after his hat-trick in Nigeria's 6-0 rout of São Tomé and Príncipe on September 10.
Osimhen has now gone 335 minutes in all competitions for Napoli without adding to his 3-goal tally in the new season.

"It's strange to end a game without scoring. I'm a striker and strikers live for goals but it's not something that bothers me too much because it's already happened and I'm prepared for it," Osimhen was quoted as saying by UEFA's official website.

Source: https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=48894

Well in this case we see that Osimhen had many opportunities to even go to a club in Saudi Arabia And he didn't want to leave, I know that Everyone wants to win and participate in the UCL, but I think there are things that are more important like the growth of a Player, Because that is what forms it and makes things easier, you earn more money and grow professionally, this particularly helps a lot,  so in this Order of ideas a player currently has to evaluate all his possibilities so that can grow, it is no longer just Europe, because if you are over 26 years old , they are Calling you old ,  and that is what all famous players should avoid, but you have to ask Messi, CR7, where they were so old they would not have the performance that both have, so these are the things that we should see all the time, not because Europe is the Capital of fútbol I think that is Already changing.

Excellent coaches have passed through Napoli in the last 15 years, Mazzarri, Benitez, Ancelotti, Sarri, Spalletti, and now Rudi Garcia. With the exception of Spalletti who won a Scudetto, the others who managed to bring a trophy to the trophy cabinet were Mazzarri (Italian Cup) and Benitez (Italian Cup - Italian Super Cup). Napoli has been very competitive since 2009, evidently those who won and did not want to stay did so because their president is not an easy man to please. We'll see how Garcia behaves this year, honestly I haven't seen good performances in these first games.

@Lillominato89 I believe that Inter will focus more on winning the Serie A then any other competition because they have an excellent chance to take a huge lead and secure the top spot for themselves and leave the other teams way behind. Also you’ll have not mentioned Roma but I feel that Roma can fight with other team’s due to the partnership between Dybala and Lukaku and thus I won’t be surprised if Roma manage to occupy one of the top 4 spots by the end of this new season.

I also think that Inter will focus mainly on the championship rather than on other competitions, but the Champions League allows them to receive large amounts of money, so I think they will at least aim to get through the groups and then on the championship! news had come out regarding the cash prizes allocated by President Zhang for the passage to the round of 16 to encourage the players to give their all on the pitch. For Inter, getting through the group stage also serves to reduce the enormous debts that the club has
