The problems are getting more serious for Roma. It was like they weren't on the pitch in the first half. The last 30-minute part of the match was some hope for Roma after the red card. However they barely scored a goal in the stoppage time. Leao's goal was really incredible by a half volley by the way.  Smiley

I'm happy to see that Milan won of course as I was expecting for that. They started this season much better than Roma so they were the closer side to the win on paper. But I must admit that I didn't expect Roma to perform this poorly. There is still no win after 3 matches for Roma. Maybe it is early but some people might start criticizing Mourinho slowly.

Surely the purchase of Lukaku by Roma is an important acquisition, but Lukaku alone will not be enough for Roma to win the Scudetto, Mourinho has already coached Lukaku and I think he will be able to make him express his qualities to the fullest! we will see in the coming days if José will be able to shake up his Roma, who have only collected 1 point in the standings in the last 2 games

it means many things that Lukaku goes to Rome and not to Juventus
- it means that Juventus doesn't have much money
- it means that Chelsea want to unload Lukaku
- it means that Roma have very high ambitions

I could say that this is a good sign, the championship becomes more balanced, more teams will fight for the Champions League and consequently the matches will be a lot of fun

in the end what matters is that, we pay to have fun

I would add one more option,
- Lukaku was hoping for a top team but there was little time left and the only one who made an offer was Roma Grin

Lukaku will certainly make Roma's attack make a leap in quality, but Roma's midfield in my opinion is not among the strongest around

Well, it could also be said that Juve now has many problems and since Lukaku can't get out of competitions anymore, except in pure Serie A, then that is a limitation for him as a player and also he wants to be champion of something, but champion, no. Regardless of what competition, it has to be and he wants to be champion, personally I would think that Lukaku chose a great team, Roma is a team that promises a lot, in the Europa League they showed great football and as I said before, I think they They did not have the required luck, despite the fact that it was seen as something that was stolen from Roma, they reached a final that against all odds was won by a good Sevilla, they had a great line-up and they were a little more prepared to win, the Mou that day because he became somewhat excited, he fought with many people, and at once he was seen with such intensity, what the Mou did was great news , honestly what I think is that the Mou can do more things with this team and He wants to get rid of the spin, and with Lukaku he can do it , now the Combination of Lukaku and Dybala is very good.

Chelsea release brutal transfer statement as Romelu Lukaku reacts to Jose Mourinho reunion

Quote
Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku's awkward exit from Stamford Bridge has been highlighted in an incredibly short goodbye statement from the club with the Blues failing to wish the star any type of good luck as he joined AS Roma on a season-long loan.

The 30-year-old had spent most of the summer looking for a way out of manager Mauricio Pochettino's ranks after he told the Argentinian he didn't want to be part of his plans going forward.

Pochettino's response was swift - sending him to train with the reserves and reportedly not speaking with Lukaku until he left the club - with the manager looking to make his stance clear from the outset.

Following his loan move at Inter Milan last season, Lukaku claimed he didn't want to return, leaving supporters to brand him a 'traitor' while Juventus and Chelsea had reportedly agreed a deal before Lukaku declined to negotiate for personal terms.

At Inter there was a lot of discontent with Lukaku, he can be in the club he wanted, but here he emphasized something a lot, he didn't want to return to Inter, and it's strange, because he's a player who can decide, now with everything what happened because it is a great option to take, what he did at Inter was not bad for me, but who knows what happened to him to not want to be at Inter, and if at Roma, but there is something that He must stand out and he wants to stay in an Italian team, Rome will open the doors for this player and it is obvious that things can happen and it can be proven that he can be champion here, with Moyu whatever it is based on football can achieve it, and he knows it, in fact, Mou is a coach who can basically do anything to win, and as I said, he has a home for victories, and with a Lukakyu who can get along with Dybvala it would be great what they can do, a goal festival if they set their minds to it.

I do not doubt the technical qualities of Roma, which is a great team, but to date I do not see her as a contender for the title. This is the proof tonight that he is losing to Milan at home and is playing a really embarrassing game, the first shot on goal was made in the 70th minute. Lukaku will have to put on his shoulders the entire offensive department of Roma if he really wants to win something, if he really wants to become a champion, In the inter a team that played mainly to get him the best chances and put him in a position to score goals

Based on the results of last week's match, then there are two of your betting choices that went badly, Monza winning not drawing is quite reasonable like my previous post Monza cannot be underestimated even though they are not a strong team but have been quite competitive so far.
What was surprising was AS Roma's defeat to Hellas Verona, I'm sure there were many who made multiple bets fail because they chose Roma or who had single bets on the money line because Hellas Verona's victory meant that the team that last season had to fight hard to get out of the relegation zone could be in the top four. big for a while because he was undefeated in two matches.
And it would be better not to bet on Roma in the next match because against AC Milan they will actually face higher difficulties and losing is more likely for Roma than winning, but the home factor seems to give Roma more of an advantage so that the bookies do not favor their opponents very much.

honestly it doesnt surprise me at all, Roma are working well with the great Jose Mourinho who pulls the strings, this coach is very smart and knows his stuff, after two Europa League finals in a row, this year he is preparing to the best.
Like the purchase of Lukaku, another very important piece in the design.

this year the scudetto fight will be very fierce, Napoli Inter Juventus Milan they are all at the same level and I think they will fight to the end, Juventus not playing the European cups could have an advantage, we will see what happens during the direct clashes between Inter Juventus Napoli and milan. these are the matches that decide the fate of the championship
For real, it is going to be a tough battle in the scudetto this season with all the teams intent on winning. Napoli can still successfully defend their title, they were able to keep some key players in their team that were important and contributed to their win last season in the team, they did not loose players like Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to other big teams in this transfer season. They already have a good start to the season. Other clubs like AC Milan still have a very good start and should not be overlooked as possible candidates to win the league too.
Indeed, Serie A is now more competitive and the competition is very tight from other teams, but for Napoli there is still a big chance to get the Scudetto title again this season and for other teams, they are currently trying to appear consistent to continue to pursue the title even though they have to compete with Napoli. .

but there is one big team that makes me a little regretful, namely Roma, which at this time for some reason almost lost its performance and failed in a few matches earlier this season, even their fans were disappointed with the decline in performance at the start of this season and somehow Mourinho seemed to have a little trouble improving Roma performance to be like before or just because Mourinho this season can not get enough new players.
for a while I avoided betting on Roma because 2x let me down.

@len01 while Roma didn’t have the best start but their fortunes are about to change because they have signed Lukaku pending some small formalities and he’ll guarantee them lot's of goals and his experience of playing in Serie A is a bonus. Furthermore I have already said it and I’ll repeat that Roma can definitely win the league title and Mourinho will definitely want to win the title and now he has the perfect opportunity so too early too rule Roma out.
@Juggy777 No doubt the arrival of Lukaku will boost the attacking line of Roma, and high their moral, because he is an experienced striker, who has played in the league and premier league, such a top league experience is enough for him to deliver in Roma, wish I believe strongly he will deliver. But winning the league this season is hard for them, Juventus is and Napoli are favourite for the title.

the Italian Serie A is the most competitive championship in the world, there is no other championship where there are more than 6 teams competing for the title
that's why it's fun to watch the matches and follow the championship, otherwise it would be boring

I believe that Napoli, Inter, Juventus, Milan will most likely fight to the end. I can't tell you with certainty who will win the Scudetto because for me everyone starts on an equal footing, perhaps whoever has more top-level players will be able to fight more, for example Inter have a top-quality reserve player for each starter, but that's all it will be enough, you also need the will to win

Chelsea and Roma are about to reach happy ending on Lukaku agreement. However Chelsea still can't get rid of him permanently. Because Roma have also signed him on loan deal now.  Grin

Considering that there are still 3 more years to go on his contract with Chelsea the problems between the team and player are likely to continue by the end of his loan spell. I don't see any team being keen on paying an amount that Chelsea would like for him. But when it comes to Lukaku's feelings now he must be happy to be back in Italy. It can be a win-win situation for him and Roma both in the absence of Tammy Abraham. Do you think Lukaku can score a good amount of goals this season?

By the way, I personally don't really care whether Lukaku can score a lot of goals or not at AS Roma. Because the most important thing is to boost the performance of AS Roma of course to be even better, because of the two matches that have been played also the fact that AS Roma has not won at all. So yes, with the entry of Lukaku and of course, AS Roma's forwards will be better it seems. Because maybe Lukaku will also be a partner with Dybala in the front row of AS Roma, and at least that can be a great hope for good results for AS Roma this season.

@jakdanyel Inter have lost Lukaku to Roma and that’ll be a big blow for them as he was a player who would score lots of goals for Inter and with him Roma will now become a genuine title contender. Also while many feel that Inter and Napoli are the two main team’s for the title I personally feel that now Mourinho’s Roma will make it a three way race and I won’t be surprised if in the end Roma win the league title too.

Well on these things I must say that the special one, ie Jose Mourinho knows a lot: old fox on this.
Surely he will have made specific promises to both the team and the player and therefore they could not refuse, there is still nothing official at the moment

Inter are a team with a much better history than Napoli in the Serie A of course. They also became champions a couple of years ago too - 2020/21 season. The progress they made last season was really impressive. They improved their performance quite much in the league after the World Cup. They qualified for the Champions League finale too and competed really hard against Manchester City.

It is normal to see them being one of the biggest contenders of the Serie A title now as a result.

However I can agree that Napoli are still very strong now. Despite the manager change Rudi Garcia is also doing a good work for now. They are extremely dominant in their matches. I see Inter - Napoli duo having equal chance for the title now.

@jakdanyel Inter have lost Lukaku to Roma and that’ll be a big blow for them as he was a player who would score lots of goals for Inter and with him Roma will now become a genuine title contender. Inter Milan is better off without Lukaku, he disrespected the club, so they had to let him go once . It's not nice keeping player that doesn't want to play for the club anymore. He loves Inter Milan and gave his best for them, now he's in Rivalry club Roma. He would like to show case he's ability.

Inter Milan, is playing good football without Lukaku, and they will do well this season as they did last season. No player is bigger than the club.

You are right, personally, a player like Lukaku could do many good things, apart from being a player who has brands, but at Inter I don't know what went wrong for him to want to leave, who knows what they told him or if He had a mishap with the coach, in general Italian teams take great care of their stars because they are players that this league and the teams need a lot, besides that Italy has always been an example for football, in general very few players they stay in Serie A, but Inter compared to other clubs has reached a good level, they reached the UCL final and for me it was against all odds, because my final was different, however I was surprised to see Inter I like this there because I know that in Serie A the level has increased and now in the UCL it has manifested something like, that here we are and here we stay, passing over the football of the PL, Bundesliga and the League , which are the ones that are talked about the most and the ones that have the most stars, in fact for me the football that has the most level at the moment is in the PL, the other leagues also have it, but the highest level for me is there, and Now the Italians are showing that they are present, that they have high-level football and that they take care of themselves, because they are with everything.

Romelu Lukaku, a chessboard and the Jose Mourinho phone call that lured him to Roma

Quote
It was, not for the first time in football, a Jose Mourinho call that proved persuasive. The Roma manager last week rang Romelu Lukaku personally to say he was exactly what they were missing.

“We have a good team but we are missing a champion,” Mourinho said. The Portuguese also explained to Lukaku exactly how he would work with Paulo Dybala.

The hope is that the loan move reignites Roma’s faltering start to the season, and Lukaku’s career.

Staying at Chelsea, while something that manager Mauricio Pochettino at least toyed with, was never really on. The club want to go in a new direction based on younger players developing in their career and capable of going to higher levels. That will be a consideration as they look for a forward in the final days of the window, although there is an expectation they will eventually move for Brentford’s Ivan Toney.

Well, but how to say no to a great like Mou, that is almost impossible, besides telling him that they were losing him and that they need a champion, and that is very high praise and even more so that it comes from someone like him who hardly doesn't He uses those words to address a player, we all know that Lukaku is a crack and that he can achieve whatever he wants, that he has sometimes gone through bad times and that he has been rallied by many teams, but I think he acts like that because he doesn't He feels vlaordo and I don't know why, I would love to have a player like him, he's big, he's strong, he has speed, he makes others look like little children because of how he plays, so this type of things are what Mou sees, in addition his hitting on goal is very good and accurate, I think Mou has a great player, and he will make a good combination with Dubala since he cannot do everything alone, because everyone in Italy knows that The Argentine is very good, and they can stop him with 2 or 3 players, but to stop Lukaku you need 4 to 5 players because he is like a machine.

Also while many feel that Inter and Napoli are the two main team’s for the title I personally feel that now Mourinho’s Roma will make it a three way race and I won’t be surprised if in the end Roma win the league title too.
