Inter are a team with a much better history than Napoli in the Serie A of course. They also became champions a couple of years ago too - 2020/21 season. The progress they made last season was really impressive. They improved their performance quite much in the league after the World Cup. They qualified for the Champions League finale too and competed really hard against Manchester City.
It is normal to see them being one of the biggest contenders of the Serie A title now as a result.
However I can agree that Napoli are still very strong now. Despite the manager change Rudi Garcia is also doing a good work for now. They are extremely dominant in their matches. I see Inter - Napoli duo having equal chance for the title now.
@jakdanyel Inter have lost Lukaku to Roma and that’ll be a big blow for them as he was a player who would score lots of goals for Inter and with him Roma will now become a genuine title contender. Also while many feel that Inter and Napoli are the two main team’s for the title I personally feel that now Mourinho’s Roma will make it a three way race and I won’t be surprised if in the end Roma win the league title too.
Inter Milan is better off without Lukaku, he disrespected the club, so they had to let him go once . It's not nice keeping player that doesn't want to play for the club anymore. He loves Inter Milan and gave his best for them, now he's in Rivalry club Roma. He would like to show case he's ability.
Inter Milan, is playing good football without Lukaku, and they will do well this season as they did last season. No player is bigger than the club.
You are right, personally, a player like Lukaku could do many good things, apart from being a player who has brands, but at Inter I don't know what went wrong for him to want to leave, who knows what they told him or if He had a mishap with the coach, in general Italian teams take great care of their stars because they are players that this league and the teams need a lot, besides that Italy has always been an example for football, in general very few players they stay in Serie A, but Inter compared to other clubs has reached a good level, they reached the UCL final and for me it was against all odds, because my final was different, however I was surprised to see Inter I like this there because I know that in Serie A the level has increased and now in the UCL it has manifested something like, that here we are and here we stay, passing over the football of the PL, Bundesliga and the League , which are the ones that are talked about the most and the ones that have the most stars, in fact for me the football that has the most level at the moment is in the PL, the other leagues also have it, but the highest level for me is there, and Now the Italians are showing that they are present, that they have high-level football and that they take care of themselves, because they are with everything.
Romelu Lukaku, a chessboard and the Jose Mourinho phone call that lured him to RomaIt was, not for the first time in football, a Jose Mourinho call that proved persuasive. The Roma manager last week rang Romelu Lukaku personally to say he was exactly what they were missing.
“We have a good team but we are missing a champion,” Mourinho said. The Portuguese also explained to Lukaku exactly how he would work with Paulo Dybala.
The hope is that the loan move reignites Roma’s faltering start to the season, and Lukaku’s career.
Staying at Chelsea, while something that manager Mauricio Pochettino at least toyed with, was never really on. The club want to go in a new direction based on younger players developing in their career and capable of going to higher levels. That will be a consideration as they look for a forward in the final days of the window, although there is an expectation they will eventually move for Brentford’s Ivan Toney.
