I am believe bitcoin different than Fiat money. The different is bitcoin already have fix supply but not with paper money, its always supplied by central banks with unlimited number. But i dont think bitcoin can replace fiat money but i do believe Bitcoin is new economic system and its revolutionary system

at the moment it can be regarded as it can protect us from banks but as soon as people like some that we see today wants to take the control of entire btc market than things take another level.
I believe the philosophy behind bitcoin was to give financial freedom to people so they are not exploited by the banks. The banks have really worried most individuals by charging huge sums of money as transaction fees. The dream of getting protection from the banks would become a reality when many begin to appreciate the world of cryptocurrency.

In US, second amendment provides the right to bear guns for the purpose of protection against external and INTERNAL threats (oppressive governments). Brilliant idea.
Is Bitcoin the same thing against FIAT? No doubt FIAT is oppressive (just read some basic economics).
NOTE: For those who keep stating that govs have tanks and aviation and etc. please do not forget that soldiers who operate them are citizens too, and please do not mistake a means of protection mostly via the only fact that it exists (without any active actions necessary) with active violence.
Yes Bitcoin protect the people from oppression of fiat that controlled by government and central bank. That is why until now they want to delay the adoption of blockchain technology. Now they find ways to regulate Bitcoin on their favor. Is Bitcoin the same thing against FIAT? No doubt FIAT is oppressive (just read some basic economics).

Bitcoin can be viewed as a new currency not only from banks but also from regulators in general, from time wasted. Even when the government always tries to carry out gun control politics, it always tries to enforce the regulations on Bitcoin. To make people afraid of guns, to fear Bitcoin, so the government can control / regulate anything easily, without resistance. Bitcoin is the key to freedom from the government and the banking press. Bitcoin also frees people from tax, although many governments are now ready to legalize bitcoins, but that does not mean they will keep quiet without taking advantage.

Damn Yes,Bitcoin was created to protect us from banks not just alternative to the paper money because we are working hard make money but in some years the value of the money got decreases so we are at same stage of living how we are before even after we earned some decent money through our hard work so people have to adopt to the crypto currencies if they want the decentralized money.

Bitcoin is created because to avoid banks. In fact, it is not the same issue, because Bitcoin needs Fiat as a bridge to be able to trade from users to other users. Bitcoin is not misused and there are many misconceptions about bitcoin. But if the base accepts bitcoin without converting bitcoin into fiat money it will be great. Some people may also say that it can save money from banks if we save money electronically but actually in the Philippines here is expensive because of higher local exchange rates and expensive Much more than saving money in the bank. Thus, there can be a big difference in saving money in crypto and in banks. Guns were invented to protect themselves (from criminals, mentally ill, etc.).

1. What do you mean "not made to be fiat replacement"? What do you use BTC for?
2. I never said BTC is actively taking actions against fiat, I said it is a tool for protection against fiat vulnerabilities.

The government has tanks, gunships, drones and artillery. How do you think rifles can match up to those? 
Why do some people here are so paranoid about governments? Wanna end up like Somalia? Bitcoin and paper money can coexist. Banks will incorporated cryptocurrency into their system. Everybody wins.

BTC can harly oppose bitcoin as bitcoin itself need fiat currency in many places. I appreciated what those legal guns are doing.

It sounds pretty cruel, but something is in it. So I cannot say that I agree completely but I can say that government would be more aware of people working at cryptocurrency if they will have some rights.

I never find bitcoin to be same as a legal gun, because bitcoin is something virtual which is successful upon the technology growth. Why I differ from others opinion is that, gun got innovated for the purpose of defeating and for war. Bitcoin got innovated for good deeds of eliminating the intermediary service who were the one who swallow the people's hard earnings.

I think you're wrong. Some governments allow citizens to have guns because they can't protect everyone from street crime. No one is allowed to have weapons to defend against a repressive government. Moreover, the more repressive the government, the less it values human life and therefore weapons are banned in such countries. No government wants to deprive itself of the right to influence all citizens through Fiat.Is Bitcoin the same thing against FIAT? No doubt FIAT is oppressive (just read some basic economics).

It's a good analogy. You can make a good use of guns to protect yourself or you can make a bad use of guns to attack others for stupid reasons. Same goes with Bitcoin, you can use to protect against scammers trying to steal your hard earned wealth or you can use it to damage others. Always make a good use of Bitcoin and of your weapons and you'll be ok.
Of course government may not find the analogy correct if it's on their interest. I think the only reason US allows weapons is due big deals with rifle association not because they care about their citizens defending their homes.

This comparison is not the similarities. BTC is only built on the values of faith, when nobody believes anymore, it lost value. Also guns and the government it is the real world, are protected. BTC is not so.
what happens when you dont believe fiat currency you use has any backup?
what if I told you government exists only as long as you believe you need it?
everything is faith, BTC is as real as anything else
