Quick, someone port this over to rPi!

Have ported V1 LightningAsic wiibox to PI (works quite well!) does anyone know how i can access v3 703n they seem to have removed all ways of telnet, SSH and even removed serial console access!

Simple answer, you can't.

[2014-04-14 18:01:50] USB bus not found, try to open the USB controller power
[2014-04-14 18:02:00] New miner device(s) found: 8D#########4 (ACM0)
[2014-04-14 18:02:00] LTC process shutdown

done power cycle of tp link and gridseeds of every possible combo no joy Sad

I don't see anything unusual, are they 'running'? Can you post the miner log?

any chance of being able to change the time zone? would be really nice and alot more convient to have the local time zone.
And i think itd be reasonable - especailly as it contected to the net, to be able to change the login details. in fact have a login fullstop. someone starts probing the networks and itll only be a sort time before someone gains access to the tp link or whatever else, you come back to find your mining for someone else!
Bit of security and peace of mind please.

brincked tp link, unbricked it, installed openwrt, install v1 it hang, start again, install via serial console (v1) same again. after installing v1 i cant get into it. whats its default IP address, as the tp link default dont work! ive the TP link plug into spare eternet port on the pc so its not connected to the router yet, and even when i do connect it to the router its not recongisned so doesnt get assigned an ip.

By default it let's the router assign an IP by DHCP.

Thanks just did a reset and plugged it into the router , then had to dig about in my router settings - darn thing doesnt support openwrt  Cry Cry Cry - through process of elimation manage to find it, its now uploading the firmware oohhhh

Anyways just to let you guys know. I have successfully used the serial TTL and terminal + TFTP method to restore a bricked controller. Upload the v1 image in 1st and then from there the actual V3 firmware itself. If you get stuck doing that, do post where you are at.

I'm a bit confused with the Tp-link WR703N. Does it serve as a "PC" where I just connect my units to it and access the TP-LINK panel from my other home computer (Of course I'm assuming both are connected to the same network).

Thanks!

Honestly no idea what that error means, maybe the pool operator can help...

OK, thanks for your time.
Not a big deal anyway, now I run Gridseeds with these pools via Raspberry Pi, cgminer works good with them.

Just installed LAG3355_12-RC10d.bin - it still does not work with many pools.
fr.hbn.theblocksfactory.com:3336 , hbn.stratum.smartmining.net:17373 and many others just give all rejects, 0% shares accepted.
Actually this firmware does not work with the most of the pools I use  Sad

Well I don't know why it happens, but it would help if you send me the log contents.

Here is a partial log, the rest of the log is just the same -

Did any of you try the R52 voltmod described here : http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/gridseed-voltage-mod/
I'm in between when I have the time.

I've done both mods, the R52 47k resistor on some and the double bridge mod on others.  The 47k are averaging around 480-500 khs at 1150, and the double bridge mod at 403khs reliably.  The 47k will cost you about 10 more watts with one unit running at about 20 watts, the double bridge is about 11 watts.  Later this week I will mod them all with the 47k.

Hey,these gridseeds mine only LTC or just specific altcoins Huh  & do you have to compile or will just a bat file work Huh

Thanks!!

i supose u didnt bothered to read anything abt these miners ; they mine any scrypt and they have their own stand alone miner

I have read ALOT on these miners, but the info has been conflicting....setup guides only mention LTC in most cases & I've seen a lot of different mining software.

Hence why I asked my stupid question  Cheesy  Thanks for your answer!!  Wink

I have ordered one @ $129 to see how it works,if the price keeps falling & it's as easy to setup as stated....I'll get more  Cool
