I'd like to know if the people who have received them are seeing the hashrate increase that Jack was claiming, which puts each unit at around 500kh/s rather than 300kh/s? It was my understanding that they would ship with the new firmware. I have seen instructions for updating the firmware on them, but it required pushing a button and I don't believe the new models shipping now have that button.

Also can anyone or asiabtc confirm that the units shipped with the old firmware and need to be updated to the new firmware in the first post.  If so I'm going to be bummed because the instructions are written for windows and all I have are mac and linux boxes around the house.

I run the miners with the packaged mini controller (like a raspberry pi), this has linux installed in it (you can SSH it)
asiaBTC has a team working on a new firmware for the controllers, basically a new webbased configuration screen in english (the old was the one from GridSeed, which was in chinese).

So you don't need a (mac) desktop to run the USB miners.

But I don't think the new firmware is finished yet?

New firmware will be finished soon.

So I received my units during lunch but didn't have time to get them setup before going back to work.  If no one else posts pics/power rating by tonight I'll try to get some up.

I do have a question for anyone in the process of setting it up.  So looking at what was in the box everything made sense except for the power supply setup.  Obviously all the bare wire cables with the circular power jack were for wiring from the power supply to the miners.  I expected there to be a cable with bare wires on one side and a power plug on the other to wire into the power outlet to run the power supply but didn't see a cable like that in the box.  Basically I saw no way to actually get power to the power supply.

Before I catch my attic on fire (another reason I didn't want to rush the install and then leave) anyone that has a unit care to share how they wired it up.  Thanks.
