There are a few parts requiring creative sourcing, and those are being actively worked on. Once the final suppliers have been locked in, and the BOM and design are completed with reasonable confidence they will not be changed, they will be ordered and those wishing to use this service may do so at that time.


Quite doable, and one of the main priorities when sourcing an assembly house. To my knowledge it's the fastest expected turnaround estimate offered.


The insurance question is being addressed.

The hosting option has not been finalized, and detracts from time spent producing the actual unit. Once the logistics of producing the unit have been finalized, hosting will receive more scrutiny. What you are suggesting sounds like customers are purchasing a share in a company that mines, and a portion of the dividends are reinvested. That is not what this is. Each customer is effectively renting room and board for their units, and is free to do as they please with any revenue generated from said units.

All purchases received, recorded, replied. The chips available mechanic is not precise, especially when there are a smaller number of chips available. Batch number 5 is in progress, and historically should be purchased this coming week. Thread formatting and additional information is in progress, and should be updated before tomorrow night.

I think a value to recover the assets at a comparable market rate should be sufficient.  As time goes on, hashing ability should continue to climb and replacing an avalon equivalent chip would be cheaper than its initial price so perhaps that should be a consideration for a lump sum insurance policy amount.

This is a very random thought so bare with me.  What if the pool of hosted miners opted to allocate a portion of their profits to grow the pool's hashing power?  For example, if 5% of the net profits went into wallet B that would be used to add avalon, or perhaps newer/faster/more efficient chips, to the pool.  The profits from that pool could be redistributed based on the initial investment of chips per user in pool A.  It would be a great way to scale up the collective hashing power of the pool and keep the amount of coins mined from falling over time as mining difficultly continues to climb at an increasing rate.

Effectively, the pool would be compounding its returns if they are reinvested.  Maybe this is best discussed later on after the pool has been stablized
