Just found out the CEO is a Senior in Engineering in a University
You want him to drop out before graduating so he can be like Gates, Jobs and Zuck?  Grin

They also need to get a sample JavaScript DAPP out asap (or a bunch of samples) after mainnet comes online or we might just be about to witness the biggest crypto fail in this industry's short history.

Most ICOs fail miserably. I see no reason to think LISK will be an exception.

Too much hype.

The problem is the coin will launch just after the end of the ICO

Look at Iota or Eth, many people who missed the train are ready to buy at a higher price than the IPO price
Because there are hype and waiting, it's the feeling that you want something and can't obtain
We can buy Lisk at any time, right now, next week and maybe at a cheaper price at launch
So on a very short term i don't think Lisk is a good invest it is even very risky

Personal guesstimation; shooting up to 4x current value in the first 24 hours after initial distribution, then a gradual decline. On the longer term it could go in all directions obviously.

I think the potential increase will be tied into what exchanges the coin starts on. Such as if it just starts on Bittrex, the lure of eventually being on Polo will drive the price up ... but that may not be a 24 hr thing. There will be an initial dump during those 24 hrs (happens with just about every ICO), but 4x may take days to a week or more, depending on when/if the coin gets on Polo.

If Lisk starts off on Poloniex, then yeah, it could be a quick pump (and/or dump).

People who missed the trains of Ethereum and Factom might take dive into LISK hoping to yield large profits on the longer term. Perhaps I'll participate in the ICO also with a small amount before the 22nd of March.

like your tagline ..someone should see if LISK.IO wants to start a signature campaign on here for lisk or an avatar campaign for lisk ...hell it could pay in lisk or btc etc

just saying...(me too busy too lazy to ask) with my HUGE 1 btc investment in lisk (big spender hah) Smiley

Hmm? There has been an ongoing signature campaign (and bounties for sig/facebook/twitter/email)... hence why I have the signature I do. Although I do think that it's either winding up, or just ended. Only reason I ever change my sig is for freebie coins... I wouldn't even try to tell anyone to invest in Lisk (it's risky, like all ICOs).

5k-10k satoshi range at the end of the ico, then it can increase to 100k but it's yet to be seen, in any case it's only a 10x profit with any investment, if it reach 100k

I would be very happy with 5x, but no doubt i will have cashed out before then anyway. Invested 1 BTC so i might take it back out at 3x and ride the rest.

That's the safe way to play it ... once you get your initial investment back, just leave the coins alone and wait. I'd say wait 6 months to a year, but it depends on how badly you need that btc. Of course if the coin doesn't go to 3-4x value, that plan doesn't work so well...

I put in 2.5 btc (equivalent, some xcr + 1 btc). That extra bitcoin's worth is just for trading with/recouping my investment.

That's exactly what I did with my ICO haunch of Synero. I sold half, walked away with my initial buy plus a nice profit, rolled the proceeds into Bitcoindark, and stuck the rest of my AMPs into a "HODL wallet." I don't mind waiting years to see how far Synero goes!

If all the people who want lisk bought it already at the ICO who will buy it once it hits exchanges directly after the ICO finishes?

Don't you guys see the flaw in your master plan?

If people behaved logically, that argument would make all of the sense in the world. But that same exact argument was used against ETH during its ICO, as well.

I see your point, the hard way. That kind of logic kept me out of the IOTA ICO. Undecided

But still, I've done all right recently. No complaints.

I personally haven't invested 1 Satoshi in this pair of clowns because I'm not completely out of my mind.

You may be right I just found out fully working tools for coders to test now is only Linux no windows build so unless you do Linux as a coder to test you can't complete a test build without Linux

Please elaborate on them being clowns.  Genuinely curious.  Does it have to do with your involvement in ETH?

If people behaved logically, that argument would make all of the sense in the world. But that same exact argument was used against ETH during its ICO, as well. People use emotion when investing (usually too often), so if the coin starts to rise after it hits an exchange, they jump in ... same reason why people jump into a coin even though its been pumped several times its original value. Although not optimal profit, they are still hoping for some profit.

As for the price after it hits the exchange, who knows really. Typical behavior would be a 2-3x rise, then dump, sometimes near ICO levels, sometimes below. Maybe all the XCR people will dump, killing the coin... maybe a whale or two will pump ... anyone guessing now is just saying whatever they want to occur. The one bright side is with the btc taken in -- if used wisely -- the coin should be able to survive any potential dumping.
