It Looks like phantastisch is also no longer part of staff. mole0815 was then introduced as a new mod as a result of his inactivity.  He was last active in September 08, 2019, 07:47:31 AM, so he should be off the list.

MiningBuddy has been inactive and not been a mod for a very long time now but I wonder why he is still indicated as Moderator of Beginners & Help Board

Not really sure about what happened and the exact dates, but franckuestein is no longer a part os the staff (inactivity IIRC). Welsh has taken over the Spanish moderation ever since

good catch tranthidung Smiley
as LoyceV already found out, the topic was very present in the german area from mid december on.
we also had a poll which should help with the decision.
at the beginning of january it ended and 2 weeks later (end of last week) the decision was made.
i am happy to be the new member of the team and i will do my best to support the forum as good as i can!

Am I really the third longest tenured staff, behind Theymos and Hostfat?

This seems unlikely to me.

Staff members come and go, but you were registered in early 2011 and theymos was registered here on February 09, 2010 so you're probably one of the oldest.

I need confirmations for the present, has Lauda still be a moderator or mod-privileged user? If what you wrote is for the past only, I won't include him in the list.
No. He is just talking about history there.

Does anyone know why Bitcoin Wiki mods don’t have mod/staff Position? SomeoneWeird and others
Most of them, excludes jgarzik are inactive, so I won't include them in the list. I still wonder that with their inactivities, whether they have still been mod-priviledged ones?

They aren't staff afaik just like Wallet software child-boards' mods, they just have mod privileges in that one section (Bitcoin Wiki).

Great effort Cheesy, I hope you add some information.

Satoshi created the forum on Nov 22, 2009, and was head administrator until almost 2011. Then Sirius was head administrator until 2012, which is when I took over.
Regarding the list above, I think it's a list of active admins/global moderators/staff.
Many managers have been deleted or replaced (AFIAK):

P.P.S. Merit per post earned for posts made since the introduction of the merit system would be a better metric.
Done, malevolent.

Update:

  • npost: total posts made since January 24, 2018, 11:00:11 PM (forum time), when the merit system born; till December 05, 2019, 02:30:17 AM
  • emerit: total earned merit till the last week (2019w47) data dump from theymos, stored in the loyce's club at http://loyce.club/Merit/userID_sent_received.txt
  • emeritppost = emerit / npost
  • rank_emp: Rank based on emeritppost (descendingly) and emerit (descendingly) with the first priority is emeritppost.

Note:
  • npost: includes posts made when topic trashed by moderators/ admins. *
  • emerits: includes earned merits in posts made before the merit system began.
All two things are bias factors.
* This bias factor occurs mostly in Russian moderators.

When I did it, I found that the userid of @Andreas Schildbach (userid = 3696) is missing from the list of userid that I took from the loyce's club.
Which list did you use? The account is included in the full list, but missing from my Merit-lists because there's not a single Merit transaction on that account (just like 2.7 million other accounts).
I checked your full list again, and sure you are right.

I took it from there
Usernames machine readable
Full list (1 MB)
Below theymos' raw data, theymos' data, Usernames to go with theymos' data, you made that list, so I misunderstood that one is the list for user who have merit history (sent or gave away). Maybe I dump and the others don't so they will understand this list title better.

Sorry for taking your time. Cheesy

It would be more useful if you were to add their respective subforums too.
I am not going to add it because the names of moderators for each local boards are available and displayed on each board already. If you actually use your local board, you surely know who are your moderators.

Next, some moderators simultaneously moderate some boards, not only one.

Addtionally, if one newbie is curious, there is place to get it. History of local boards

Lastly, I am going to use space for such stats later.
P.P.S. Merit per post earned for posts made since the introduction of the merit system would be a better metric.
I will try to figure it out..

I add it for my file but please check yours, @LoyceV.
can you also include in your data about who are those merit sources? Or, all staff are expected that they are merit sources. .
You can get it around the forum, there are some official stats from the forum, and from the community (in topics); but theymos does not want to see such things. I am not going to this one.
Merit sources are free to reveal their source amounts, though I think it may be a bit unwise. While it will eventually become obvious roughly what the source amounts are from the stats, there's a huge difference between showing up in a "list of probable merit sources" and having a quote out there of you basically saying "I'm a merit source, come beg me for merit, complain about every merit I send, and accuse me of being part of the anti-X/pro-Y conspiracy."

Or, all staff are expected that they are merit sources.
No, all staffs are not merit sources, while the merit source list is not made public, through users merit distribution you can guess who is a source.
Checking the list of most generous merit senders in recent time: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topsend and also all time: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;stats=topsendat
Would give you an idea of who the 98 merit sources are.

It's a nice work OP, it's easy for them to recognize who are those staff in the forum and MOD's.
Since you included the merit earned and sent, can you also include in your data about who are those merit sources? Or, all staff are expected that they are merit sources.

Just a piece of suggestion, thank you.
