Very useful list for those of us who are new to crypto currencies

I never thought that there are so many alternative cryptocurrencies  in the world! 
I knew only about 15 pieces and I thought it was already quite a large number of alternative cryptocurrencies.

What do you think about Pesetacoin? Price is going up or down???

Well the second gen coins will need to be built up with sidechains and assisted protocols but that would be interesting

Satoshi's nightmare  2nd gen coins will probably end it. Then there will be hundreds of 2nd gen coins and they'll be killed by 3rd gen coins.

My thoughts are bitcoin litecoin and a bunch of alts are in fact first-generation cryptocurrency. They were only experiments after all, with open blockchains, slow and hot and an utter waste of such network strength.

To compete in today's market a coin has got to do a unique function such as fill a niche for cyber anonymity like Darkcoin or fill a need for humanity such as netcoin, gridcoin, etc.

 My addition for a second generation cryptocurrency: Darkcoin
