it is so cool to be able to play a game and be paid for it Cheesy

I imagine myself earning a living just from playing games. Maybe you could earn so much that would never need a job again..... Roll Eyes

that would be everybody's dream job ofcource

It would not be easy, as more and more people do it, but it is viable, there are a lot of spaces for that in the economy.

The gaming market is 180 billion $, some people made big fortunes with that, but mostly been the companies. Time to give a few of those money back to gamers -> and of course to bitcoin itself.

I propose to make many MMORPG's on the assembly line that would have Bitcoin (and other cryptos) as in-game currency!

Got to get them all!
i dont think so that 30-40 yo guys will sit at front of their pc to play some games for cents.

Despite all the tables and charts all you lot presumably look at all the time deciding which altcoins to pump and dump, I get the impression the figures on the tables linked from http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/digitalisassets.html are just not somehow actually computing for you people.

Take another look at http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/deuterium.html

See those labels across the top of the page?

Even if most of them are unfamiliar to you, surely you have heard of BiTCoin (BTC), or maybe DeVCoin (DVC), or maybe of I0Coin (I0C) or IXCoin (IXC) or LiTeCoin (LTC) ?

Or if not, then maybe of NaMeCoin (NMC) ?

If you think that fifty million units of Deuterium at those prices per thousand units is "cents" I have to wonder what kind of precious metals your cents are made of ?

Cool thanks for sharing this info. I am looking it over now. Pretty good stuff. Smiley

re: Huntercoin, they've developed a Unity client that can be run on Android devices. So, at the moment you still have to run your own node, but I believe it's planned in the very near future that they will offer a remote node(s), that you can log into using the Unity client as a kind of SPV wallet, so the blockchain won't need to be synced for individual users - it will be lightweight game you can play on your phone/pc/tablet/etc.

HOW ABOUT A BIG MMORPG/MMORTS GAME (Online: Like e-Republic but with cryptocurrencies?)

There are tons of private servers for any MMO game, why can't anyone create any MMO private server based on Bitcoin or other Crypto?

Did you even look into Huntercoin? It is a MMORTS (it's turn-based, but each turn is one-block, so it is real time, kind of).
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annhuc-huntercoin-worlds-first-decentralized-gameworld-on-the-blockchain-435170

I did but its not the same, and its not viable for million of people because of the blockchain.

I was thinking about either a strategy based browser game, with centralized server (no need for blockchain here), and as ingame currency bitcoin, litecoin, or others.

OR

A full MMORPG private server (or even a complete game, might require a few million bucks angel investors to develop this) that would integrate bitcoin in itself.

And not just 1 game, i would like to see this whole industry booming, gaming is a 180 billion $ market, crypto-currencies need to have a slice of that!

pretty much this

gaming industry is way too high tech and people want games with awesome looking graphic. Unless YOU can create a VR game that people can play with bitcoin...VR is still in infant phase just like bitcoin and you'll get more users to adapt bitcoin.

We are actually looking at Oculus Rift.

way to go! VR is the future..put some games up for android/iphone as well since google cardboard is something anone can buy and it works with cellphone.

I personally own oculus rift and cardboard myself. I would rather use them instead of my desktop or ps4.

Thanks for the kind words!

Google Cardboard is an awesome idea as it is more accessible than Oculus. We will have to look into that as well Smiley

And we have over 4500 players (please see above post) so I think actually, that a lot of people love the combo of crypto and gaming.

Well this would be mostly for the 13-30 year age groups.

Alot of kids and young people play online games, kids can earn their purse money, while young people can earn some to pay the bills.

And it would not be cents, if a strong MMO game gets developed then obviously you can earn thousands.

I was just watching other day a chinese guy giving an interview saying that he makes 30-40,000$ /month by playing online games and selling the ingame currency for $$$

Now if they would just replace the ingame currency with bitcoin, then you dont even need to sell it, you just have it!

Also, if you look at the average player of Eve Online (~30 years old) for example, and how much time and money they spend on the game, the potential is there.

HYPER actually has funds set aside to develop an original MMO, we are still researching frameworks and need to have a higher market cap before we can start the development.

And yes, esports is huge and is a billion dollar industry.

We have over 4500 players on our most popular game servers (we also run other servers but these are the biggest) so the demand is definitely there: http://hyper.microngaming.com/hlstats.php

We have been running for over a year, and run over 10 game servers that allow people to earn our currency.

You can see more information in the Bitcointalk link in my signature.

You can also read the HYPER goals and strategy document here: http://hypercrypto.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/HYPER-Goals-and-VIsion-Official.pdf

Unfortunately, our site was hacked at a very deep level on the weekend and we have lost over a years work on our wiki, forum and website (our forum had over 2 k members and our wiki had over 50 000 views). But we already have a new site coming sometime over the next week that will be an all inclusive gaming community with clans, gaming competitions and the HYPER forums all in one place. People will even be able to sign up on the new site with their steam account.

You can also see our intro video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMTt3zAJgpg

And follow us on twitter: https://twitter.com/hypercrypto

HYPER is the gaming cryptocurrency with the most extensive ecosystem right now and is the most popular. It is a shame I can't show you the wiki (as it is gone from the hack) as it showed all our game servers and info in one place. We are working very hard to get our new website up ASAP after the hack.

We have also been mentioned on outlets like Bitcoin Magazine: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/21135/bitcoin-gaming-alternative-hyper-added-mmorpg-dragon-knights-valeria-hyper-roadmap-document-released/

CryptoCoinsNews: https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/hyper-cryptocurrency-gaming/

Bitcoinist (old interview): http://bitcoinist.net/hyper-coin-overview/

etc

We run a PR campaign every month about HYPER, funded by our project funds.

MotoCoin is a game where you can earn coins directly on the blockchain. It's tough though and it needs new dev's to support and develop upon.
