In other news, I recently found out that The Rock Trading have a debit card service. I don't know if it's new but I'll just leave this here for future reference.

Bitstamp debit card info for those wondering. It's either EUR/USD but there's only one table for charges.

That's good service. I will join and get a free debit card for my account. I really like this service and it helps me convert bitcoin to fiat and backwards.

Do you think that virtual banking services like Leupay and number26 should be included in the list as relevant services?

yes, leupay.eu
It's a pretty good service. The debit card they send is nice and verification doesn't take ages or tons of bureaucracy. Number26 requires passport identification for most countries which is too much of a hassle.

In other news, I recently found out that The Rock Trading have a (prepaid?) card service. I don't know if it's new but I'll just leave this here for future reference.

bitcoin-card service without a monthly fee as advcash? Huh
Coinsbank for the first year is the main one that comes to mind. But aside of that, if no money is in the card no fee will be paid, regardless of card.

This is a very non-standard practice. Not that other services check the authenticity of documents thoroughly but at least obviously faked are rejected.

With other services I've used, using fake documentation to verify yourself would be against your interest as it'd risk a user account shutdown. It's weird that loadoo has chosen to take this path, end even express their intent though support statement. If the above is true, there certainly must be some risk on their side, which IMO isn't ideal for the potential of reliability for their service as their banks could cut them off at any time if a breach of contract was observed.

In other news, Coinsbank's verification requires either your proof of address in English/Russian or a notarized translation. First time I'm seeing this in a service that requires verification.

1. notarized translation big problem
they will lose a lot of customers

2. looado - guy from Latvia muzzie

3. load BTC via MasterCard with service ecopayz.com

So the main party behind loadoo is a senior member in a ebay/amazon suspension forum? That's a bit shady. Not to downplay loadoo's service but I'll be leaving them in the questionable category until I can see more user reviews in this forum.

Loadoo info:

Quote
Points 1 and 2 contradict each other... if you won't accept "creative" documents, then how can one open a stealth Loadoo account?
And this is necessary since you will block any unverified accounts which receive PayPal withdrawals... so after the first account/6
cards, Loadoo is useless.

You can open the loadoo account if you're going to submit your real info, if you wanna use photoshoped stuff just try and get a VCC
from other buyers on loadoo is like you're signing up a contract with a bank! i'm pretty sure you won't go to bank with fake
documents, unless if you're not from this planet Smiley

Best idea is to try many cards and then you will choose what is the best for you. Because you will see many opinions here, but only if you try you will understand how this system works.

Thanks. tring out many cards is expensive as they all have an issue and/or activation fee. Guess I will have to research further to decide on one of the two mentioned.

try unichange.me
they offer virtual cards with free issuance

I will open a thread dedicated to this question because I have one bitcoin debit card from cryptopay and the name is my nickname so this can be an issue if the scenario above ever happens, I planned to use spend bitcoin and withdraw from ATM when I need them urgently, anyway thanks.
It's an interesting inquiry nevertheless, but hard to answer as a third party. Feel free to link this thread here, I'd be curious to see the answer as well.

Coinsbank is free for the first year but requires verification with docs to unlock benefits of named cards.
What are the unlocked benifits?
Look at their card comparison tables here to find out yourself. If you order a named card you'll have to submit documents to unlock it or it'll be used as a no name one.

I don't know if here is the right place to ask but how to prove the ownership of No Name card when there is no name printed in the card, for example the card gets stucked in ATM and you have to provide the ID in order to get your card back, understand the situation?
That's a good question but I guess that it's up to each bank's policy and can vary as per jurisdiction. No name cards aren't convenient to use for ATM transactions too so this can't be an issue affecting many people.
