Paycent launched their mobile wallet app, currently supporting BTC and ETH. LTC is already included in the app and it will be active soon. Dash is coming as well.

I also pre-registered for their MasterCard, passed the KYC and was one of the beta testers.

They also have promotion in April, during which you can earn 100 or 200 free PYN tokens: https://twitter.com/PaycentGlobal/status/980683160332640256

They are the only project currently which starts delivering their card. Their card comes under MasterCard card brand so it will be possible to use all PoS and ATM in the network worldwide. The delivery started today (30th April).

Worldwide coverage expect for few sanctioned countries.

I’m waiting for my card to be delivered. Will let you now when I use it.

Yeah, I tried to remain critical of ICOs when maintaining my thread more actively. Most turned out to have no product just as I expected.

Hey guys

I want make test EUR10

BTC - > VirWox -> BTC -> SLL -> EUR

Withdraw to PayPal fee 1EUR + 2% PayPal

What do you think of such a plan?

I was using it but in the opposite direction, and it worked for me. But I haven't used it for a while. It would be nice to post the full breakdown of all costs in the end. I tested it with around 100 EUR, what was my limit at that time.

I've just checked my account on VirWox, and found few EUR there  Smiley
Now I'm testing the withdrawal for the first time. Current transaction is being executed manually due to the security, will confirm when I receive it.

I received the test amount on the same day. I suppose my future withdrawals will be transferred automatically.

card is too expensive

It's the one off fee for the whole period of four years, no additional maintenance costs. Crypto to fiat and vice versa is 1.5%. And I don't have an alternative, for my country it's the only working card I know.

Would anyone be willing to help me update this thread? I don't have much time lately.

There's this - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DRbTeMCzb4UeXI0YlAzBxMc2u2i0cN_17Ql6eMngK6E/edit#gid=0

which someone is maintaining, but the problem with this subject is that these cards have now become infected with ICO vapourware or cards coming 'soon' so most recommendations turn out to be a load of bollocks that'll never happen.

I'm going to wait until a previous established player opens up again.

BitPay is launching a pre-paid VISA card that you can load with bitcoin or bitcoincash:

https://discover.coinsquare.io/digital-currency/bitpay-prepaid-visa-card-now-accepts-bitcoin-cash/

I'm not sure how they managed to persuade VISA to allow them to do this, in the light of VISA banning other crypto cards, but I guess as it's prepaid, VISA isn't worried about fraud.

It has always been prepaid. Not one single provider or exchange offers a card with a credit line attached to it. Earlier cards offered by Cryptopay, Wirex, Advcash etc all required coins first be converted to fiat. The money (USD, GBP, EUR) was then loaded into the cards. The cards worked only after completing the loading process. So essentially one had to prepay funds into the cards before ATM and merchants honored them.

I'm sure fraud was not the only concern behind the Wave Crest saga. It probably was triggered by compliance issues. Accepting KYC documents from less developed economies is a very challenging process. Unlike the US SSN system and the EEA's national ID card system, it is difficult to verify and authenticate an ID from, for example, Brazil or Vietnam or China and all those other countries.

And another cause of the Wave Crest card drama was that one unknown factor. Where was all that money loaded into the cards coming from? Were they laundered funds? Looking back, I think I can understand Visa's decision to shut down the Wave Crest card program. The card had a daily transaction limit of USD 2000 with no lifetime and annual limits, making it a convenient tool for money laundering. One only needed 5 cards to hit the 10k USD transaction limit, a reportable threshold. But of course none is ever reported.

I highly advise against using upaycard, their verification process is very suspicious and few of my friends had similar issues.
The people responsible for verification are completly incompetent:

1. i've submitted my id
2. they asked for better quality,
3. I've submitted better quality
4. They said it's duplicate...

Not saying even that the quality was good.. seems that they can't use zoom.

Also few of my friends had been asked, to provide more ids - even if the first submitted one was ok.

... Point me to which threads you're talking about please.

I could only find one of the 2 threads that I remember:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.25516071

It is possible that the account closure of his N26 account might not be related
to his transfer from Kraken, but the timing is suspicious.

There was at least another user with a similar problem, but as I said
I can´t find the thread (maybe it got deleted).

I remember this. Probably not an issue related to crypto at all as you say. Really though the only downside for n26 is that you need a passport for most countries to be able to register. It's well worth it though, great customer support for a bank too!

Several issues on that. Loading with BitPay would add a 1% fee on every load. ViaBuy is a paid service and quite expensive too. It'd be better to exchange BTC and just deposit to a bank account with a debit card. N26 or Mistertango for example.

There were numerous reports of people in this very forum, who had their N26 account closed
due to regular cryptocurrency-related transactions.

I don't think that this is true about n26. I wasn't able to verify any of the claims that it's closing accounts with crypto activity. I've had plenty of transactions to and from exchanges myself and even contacted support in the meantime for assistance with statements. No word from n26 against cryptocurrency-related activity.

Has there been anything new to that story though? Point me to which threads you're talking about please.
