Next Coin allow you to forge on any computer. Forging doesn't require any particular hardware. That mean that your gain from mining is proportional to the NXT coin you own. More coin, more reward.

It is interesting because you can forge NXT and mine an other coin at the same time without any loss of performance.

@superresistant
CopperLark is just a russian version of the megascam XRP aka Ripples.
CopperLark is scam. The truth must be repeated, becuase the lies are repeated too.
I dont support scam, so i will not List them.

@ Adamlm
Kingcoin is scam, the developer mined with his GPU while distributed cpu miners only. (as an cpu only coin...)

I didn't know they where scam. Where have you seen that?
As for kingcoin: there was no premine nor superblocks at the beginning, only this "GPU issue".. But this coins is still alive and quite low diff now.

@ taturii is memorycoin aviable on exchanges?
which shortcut is used MEM is already used by Memecoin

MEG

MemoryCoin is designed to be GPU-resistant so it is CPU mining for the long term.

It has a reward reduction of 5% each week, so it's still very early stages, still about 85% of original block reward for miners.

It's got a community grant system built into the blockchain so future development can be funded (lack of development funds is the reason most coins fail).

The community grants are currently funding a logo competition ($100) and a pool miner ($100).

It had a rocky start, but there's a lot of innovation and the software is very stable now.

Currently trading on Bter.

Hello,
i already use the serach function several times but seems not really helpfull.
I am looking a List of Altcoins which could be mined with CPU only (present).
I found these:
XPM (PrimeCoin)
QRK (Quark)
SIC (Syphilis Coin)
JPU
YAC
(updated, thx to DocNougat and r3wt)
Could someone give me a hint for more? :-)

What about making 2 categories :
Only CPU like PrimeCoin
Balanced CPU/GPU like CopperLark (or YAC ?) Theses alt-coin should be profitable with CPU or GPU

I don't know about listing coins that don't compile with the provided source or even assert on launch.
