Basically, you don’t have to run faster than the bear to get away. You just have to run faster than the guy next to you.

PPC should be the dominant alt coin Smiley or perhaps even the dominant coin in the long run.

January 31, 2014 is Chinese New Year, year of horse, expect some galloping here, because what do you think each Chinese will give as a gift this time? You guessed it, Litecoin, at least one shiny LTC, right from the miner's gear.

No.
I concur.

Are there any use for altcoins besides being traded with BTC?
By the way many altcoins are performing much better than Litecoin, so I guess you litecoiners are buying them too, right?
For the record, I am no Litecoiner and no other coiner, no emotional attachment or religion here. Just posting facts and what I think will happen, that's about all. It makes sense to diversify, that's Investing 101.

mcxNOW will probably mean the death of a few altcoins (if you can't trade them with BTC, you can be sure there will be zero interest), as some of them had almost no existence outside.
this sole fact means they were useless anyway.

Just to keep you current, 0.03 ltc/btc seems to be holding, Litecoin refuses to die. Difficulty on Litecoin is almost 2000 now, miners struggling to supply coins, so 0.03 ltc/btc may be the new launching pad to the 0.07-0.1 area by spring.

There you have it, 0.031.

Yeah, like I said 3 days ago after LTC's sudden rise and then first testing of the 0.03 level, 0.03 is most likely the floor now (though we briefly broke it yesterday but quickly recovered), so fuel the rockets, the launching pad is getting ready. All the weak hands have shaken and lost their LTCs, nothing stopping it from moving onwards.

My prediction, take with a grain of salt, and certainly not a trading recommendation.
Some BTC pumping has been overdue to go to around $1500, LTC will now linger around $40ish for a week, making a base there, then will launch with a vengeance and hit ltc/btc 0.06-0.07 (hopefully before New Year, but in fact doesn't matter when), then cool off again for a bit.

Agree with that.
I hope the price go down before so I can buy more of it.
