As was Bitcoin... how far along are we going to play this argument.
The obvious difference, mr litecoin bagholder, is that Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency and thus has a high network effect. Litecoin is nothing but a clone, its not event the first altcoin. Since Litecoin is nothing but a clone, that means it can only compete with Bitcoin, but Bitcoin has already taken residence as the top cryptocurrency in it's field, making Litecoin obselete and worthless.

Reality bites compared to this fantasy being played out on the forum.
Back then the buzz was that bitcoin was going to $10,000 and litecoin to $500. They held for the moon.
Maybe you should say LTC has no future at all.
LTC has whatever future the devs want to make for it. Unfortunately that doesn't look like much.

I doubt litecoin will rise to the level of bitcoin in the near future.
Much easier to make multiple x $ with smaller currencies, worth less, like .01 - .10 cents. I would rather chance it to make 10 X than sit and wait to make 2 X.

Word up! But thats why Bitcoin will win the race. We have already more than 400 curencys, that are more efficient and in some ways "better" than bitcoin. But guess which one will be choosen by the people. Not the most efficient one. It will be the most popular! Or why isn't everybody driving an electric car? You would save up to 90 percent by doing so...so why are the people keep driving with fossils?
Because governments and corporation systematically bought up all patents regarding free electricitiy or electric cars. The first electric car was invented in 1890 (!) in Detroit, never saw the light of day, and could go up to 200 miles, the new hybrids are a joke...
Ok, that may be a reason. But nowadays there are lot's of electric cars available and the people just don't buy it. Why? You could drive your households second car for almost no cost. Why don't you do it?
But the most interesting question is: WHY DO THEY STILL USE FIAT?
