Agree with Searing. I am an old holder of Litecoin here and I will say that its development before was what kept it very attractive (getting segwit ahead of BTC for example). And then maybe it will be the first to do LN properly, atomic swap properly, privacy etc properly but it has to be quicker than now. Get back to the old speed of making developments and upgrades quicker.

If you're saying all this because of the disappointment in surge in price of litecoin that happened during it halving then you're wrong. Although, litecoin might lost his trust by someone crypti communities ever since Charlie announcement that he sold all his holding but litecoin still among the long existing coin in the market that still hold the top 10 rating. However, litecoin usually experience his new ATH when it bitcoin halving.

Well, this is what I've been claiming all year. My only hope now is that a pump of BTC gets LTC back on track to at least act as a 'regular' altcoin,

rather than the 'high hopes of being LTC being Silver to BTC's Gold'.

IF that is Litecoin actually does do more to go its own way from Bitcoin (like Mimblewimble) and acts as a coin with its own innovations as well

as the usual bitcoin core upgrades, they deem prudent. You have to have more than just Litecoin as a name and the motto!

We will see, but this coin definitely needs more room to develop than just Mimblewimble and the same old bitcoin core upgrades.

Without any doubt LTC is a great coin, but I do not see any further potential, because halving has passed without any affect. It does not seem that big investors are really interested in Litecoin at the moment, everyone is in BTC.

Litecoin is very useful for payment, so this coin is still popular during this time. I have 10% of my assets to invest in this coin for a long time and have made huge profits in the past so it's time for you to reconsider again as Litecoin will definitely increase in price over time. Meh. I think the last Litecoin development was just riding the segwit hype when big brother Bitcoin is having congestion issues and thus needed a hardfork to address the congestion. Litecoin just frontran the update hype, after that, nothing anymore.

The problem you mentioned comes from the fact that people are not educated enough about cryptocurrencies. They look at Bitcoin as a form of investment, and do not notice its useful functions.
