Yeah I agree, if you have to choose between these two coins, it's better to choose Ethereum than Litecoin, but it doesn't wrong if you also choose LTC into your portfolio because Litecoin is also a good coin and suitable for long-term investment. I personally will buy LTC and I want to hold it for long-term.

Litecoin is the best option as a long-term investment, the reason is because I have bought and save litecoin in my personal wallet. (i don't have eth)
Not too bad if you want to buy ethereum, and yes, if i want buy I will choose this only for short-term investments (I don't really need eth at this time).
I actually use Litecoin for capital on gambling that I am currently using.
Both is best for investment.

Yes, agree, even if there is an eth 2.0 revolution, it will take a long time to get to a high price. But it is suitable for long-term investment. Because at least the Vitalik eth developer and his friends have tried and tried for eth so that its development can be even better, so that the community is increasingly convinced if eth works hard and all work will definitely be rewarded

If you have the patience to wait for ethereum to go up in price then you can surely obtain profits, but I do not see the point, just wait for the market to indicate a possible recovery.

Right now the market seems like it is close to give that signal but until it comes just hold your fiat, you are not going to miss the movement if you wait and you will gain the advantage of not investing in ethereum over and over again waiting for a movement that only comes once or twice a year.

the right choice because I also have considerable confidence with ETH as altcoin which still has value and price for long-term investment and ETH is still ranked the best as altcoin than altcoin, most importantly our belief and patience is the best capital in investing with what that we invest in

They're both great projects and I have immense respect for Charlie and Vitalik.
However in terms of tech backing them, I'm a larger fan of the Ethereum foundation and where it's taking the project.
This doesn't exactly mean Ethereum is a better investment though.

I don't like Litecoin at all. It's nothing but a copy cat of Bitcoin except the mining algorithm and the block time. I really don't know why the Chinese traded this coin heavily before. If you suspect Bitcoin Core is going on a wrong direction, the situation is much worse with LTC devs, they seem to have no direction except to be a testbed for Bitcoin.

These two coins are top altcoins, and they both have the strength to actually dominate the market later in the future, they have very good project background and they have a real working product that will ensure its continuity for a very long time. I know that Ethereum is meant to upgrade their platform to 2.0 and many people have expected something to come out of it.

If Ethereum 2.0 after being released is still not making any much difference, that would still not make me to give up on it as a long term investment because I know that there is a factor that will always affect these coins generally, that no matter how hard that they try, the coin may still not grow until that factor is lifted up which I definitely know that overtime, the factor will be eliminated for altcoins including Ethereum to be alive again.

I don't think we will earn shortly on Ethereum because both are well known crypto currency so we make good profit on both the coin. But If they need quick profit BTC is the only option for trading platform. Majority of the investors are stay in BTC so we will earn faster than other altcoins. I support LTC and ETH because we must split to invest many altcoins so we can concentrate both the coin.

And for sure they are the resemblance for the other person since ETH and litecoins are always been highlighted in posters and memes which brought up for both of them a positive output.

Ethereum Supply is to high and as you say the price at market above $150 and for Litecoin itself the supply lower than Ethereum.
but the fundamental from the both, Ethereum still win in the market price and capitalization.
in 2017 Ethereum price touch for more than $1500, so i think is not imposible for Ethereum to hit new ATH
