ETH is much more better than LTC in terms of investment. For trading LTC chart may hand more opportunities. But when we compare ETH and LTC, ETH have many advantages than LTC. High number of developers working at ETH base is the strongest part of ETH.
Also with ETH 2.0, staking will be available at beginning of January 2020.
If you want to invest, ETH is better for sure.
If you want to trade, do not use stop loss 😊

I like Litecoin more because this coin has inflation limits. And Ethereum can be mined to unlimited quantities. This is a weak factor for raising the price of Ethereum.

I choose Ethereum as it was the most commonly used platform by most of the ICOs to support their projects. Expect the huge Ethereum price bounce back if the crypto market become bullish as even in this bearish trend but still Ethereum is the number 1 altcoins so better to hold more Ethereum now and do not miss the opportunity while the price is cheap.

Difference of opinion can be seen among the users on different cryptocurrencies. Mostly people who have ethereum in their portfolio will also have Litecoin. In one way Litecoin was popular than ethereum as it follows the algorithm of bitcoin. Later with the smart contract platform ethereum made a big change over the market and this is where Litecoin fell to ethereum.

Litecoin has a different algorithm for their proof of work but I get what you are saying. Ethereum offers something different. Only thing is in the future I see that same capability baked into other coins so eth wont have a competitive advantage as it does now when it comes to smart contracts. We will see but to say litecoin fell to eth is a mistake, it never fell to eth it's been "there" the whole time

Ethereum is much better than Litecoin.. although Litecoin is a Lite version of Bitcoin but Ethereum is a core of many crypto coins, developers are very interested in using Ethereum (ERC20) than other platforms, this is the reason that makes investing in Ethereum is the best choice.

ETH was created thanks to the ICO model, it has achieved a lot of success in the market. There are coins that follow this model and it's hard to be as successful as ETH. both are good, but for now ethereum might be more profitable. Litecoin has not had a positive update that could lead to speculation, lastly halving them is less influential and there is no pump because of it. for ethereum, why would I say better. because next year ethereum 2.0 will be released and most likely ethereum will adopt the POS. this makes increasing demand and much speculation is emerging at this time about the future of ethereum.

To be on the safer side of things for me, I'll go with Ethereum rather than Litecoin.
Primarily Bitcoins are the sustainable longterm investment of choice for the
majority, I believe Ethereum should be included with it. Litecoin is great and
all but ETH has more influence and are widely implemented. There is a very good
potential for Litecoin as well but for now I'm sticking with Ethereum and
Bitcoins as best investment options.

Litecoin is also a big 10 in https://coinmarketcap.com /
https://www.coingecko.com and the movement is very good, it never hurts if you want to invest in Litecoin.
but if asked to choose between litecoin and ethereum. I clearly agree with you that we cannot deny that ethereum is still the best choice.

Both ETH and LTC are the strongest coins at the market. Top 10 Ranked coins very long time.
If I must choose one of them, I will choose ETH for sure. LTC get some price movements by halving news, a good journey to 140. By the way ETH is platform which have most developers. ETH 2.0 is also very good and positive for the future of ETH. Staking model will push to ETH. January 2020 can be very different for ETH. Many people waiting ETH 2.0 😊
And it can also effect the price of ETC, as ETH miners will rush to ETC.
