Take a look at Vertcoin, same max supply, very fast and cheap transactions and ASIC resistant.  o yeah the price is 1/10 of LTC   Grin

both of them are good altcoins but if i have to choose a better coin, litecoin must be the one. It seems to be the most promising and potential altcoin on market right now.

Sorry one last question....do you guys think litecoin or monero will ever pass ETH? I know John Mcafee thinks Monero is the main coin that can compete with Bitcoin.  I didn't know who you guys think could be ranked 2nd or a chance of really shooting the moon?

2027 market caps:

1. Everyday currency that works with smart devices and smart contracts. Super simple, instant and free transactions.
2. XX coin
3. XX coin
4. Btc (perhaps at 200k per token but only used as digital gold, not used by most people)
5. XX token
6. XX token
7. Monero, expensive to transact (even if will get cheaper soon), complicated to deal with (for most people) but hiding money will always be attractive.

I would recommend taking Litecoin. He is very stable and less volatile than Monero. I believe that ltc in the future will only grow.

Split your portfolio , put 10/3 in Lite coin and 10/7 in Monero, it has more solid reasons to grow
Thanks decided to split it down the model.  Basically holding Bitcoin, Eth, Litecoin, and Monero.

*Not sure about Iota and Sia yet.

I believe LTC has serious plans for bringing crypto to the mass market. So, it has a huge potential compared only to ETH potential.

But on the other hand Monero has a huge potential as the worlds best anonymous currency.

I think monero has a much more chances to survive in future. LTC must go to rest.

I would go LTC, atomic swaps and mast (smart contracts), LTC is going to fly

I kept them both but always had a thing for LCT, not sure why but I like the little coin Smiley

Charlie Lee said yesterday they're ramping up the PR for litecoin now, 1000$ in 2018?  Roll Eyes

If you are trader in the darkweb, then keeping Monero is your best bet. However , for a stable currency, I will choose LTC.

Hi Guys,

I'm a noob to the crypto space but have some money in BTC and ETH, if you were going to get a 3rd coin would you go with XMR or LTC?  I like the anonymity with Monero but get worried that govts could intervene.....Leaning towards LTC.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Governments will totally restrict this currency. And that is the main point why it would have value. It is decentralized and anonymous. What more can you wish?

my advice is you can go with both monero and litecoin together. if you like the anonymity then you can go with monero only and leave litecoin. the choice is up to you but you still have a chance to buy both coins as this coin is not getting high so far. but for litecoin, I think litecoin is already reached the highest price before but now the price is still in the bottom and waiting to increase again.

Just lol, if the Gov's do try to intervene then it will be on transparent chains like LTC, DUH

Thanks for the responses, I read on a reddit forum in which someone said you eventually could go to jail for owning monero......kinda made me second guess.

Didn't take long for you to show your real intentions LiteCoin shill. And I just thought you were an idiot. Stupid me. Smiley

I like litecoin but it doesn't have anything that sets it apart from other common coins, so I would pick Monero.

I choose xmr to be an option against the existing options because the xmr price is not high which is much different with
ltc so for a good long term investment is xmr although it has to wait a long time but i sure will go up
