Yet nothing is  happening good towards the whole LTC economy as while the market  is climbing high now Litecoin moves like together with all and not making any big climb if that Paypal adopting  is a huge plus .
so maybe there are a lot of things litecoin team should consider before we could reach the top as I have sold all my litecoin back in 2018  and never keep a part till now.

It is often stated that litecoin lacks marketing not only here but also in the litecoin telegram, the forum, on x etc..

The answer was that they like it like that. Litecoin moves at its own speed so it seems. The litecoin foundation invests in updates but not in marketing.
Marketing Litecoin is big events talking about litecoin to litecoiners. Splendid idea to make its features known to people already knowing those features.

As for LTC, it's entirely different after all of those years when Lee has quit as the main guy of this project. How many years was it already? 6-7 years has passed and LTC has never been the same.

He's still the main guy, just not that much showing his face of the public. There are YT videos were he debates LTC with others.
Latest is this one I think:

 https://youtu.be/ygCiU-ZSs3k?si=tCZI2rZkPQza3xn-

The marketing of LTC is non existing. And now it comes they do have a marketing department. What they do? I fear no one knows.
Litecoin being on Paypal is a huge plus though.

If you are an investor and looking for a coin which hasn't made its moonshot yet, look no further.

Do you really think that someone buying a coin and holding it for 5 Years is an investor?
What is your definition of investor?

For me a simple shareholder is just that. A shareholder. He has no influence on the outcome. An investor on the other hand has a say in where the company's direction is going to be.

Litecoin is still one of the cheapest alts out there with a good user adoption. It certainly doesn't deserve its current price. I think a fair price for litecoin today is no less than $500 ($ 30 billion market cap) but somehow the markets are pricing it way less. This is the OG altcoin, don't get fooled by the noobs. If doge can have a $20 billion marketcap, Litecoin should have a bigger market cap than doge that's for sure. If people can hodl this long enough, they will get rewarded for their patience. Litecoin is fast, litecoin is cheap to use and it has an excellent reputation. If you are an investor and looking for a coin which hasn't made its moonshot yet, look no further.

After all Altcoins were troubled recently, Litecoin is gaining more confidence again.

But can Litecoin outperform Bitcoin or is Litecoin dead in your opinion?
No cryptocurrency has been created to surpass Bitcoin, but I don't know if there will be in the future. As the popularity of Bitcoin continues to grow, people will eventually trust Bitcoin and people will always go with Bitcoin. I never believe that Litecoin will outperform Bitcoin. Litecoin will still be on the market. Currently Litecoin is worth $91 and Bitcoin is worth $62000. From here we can analyze which coins are the most popular and will remain popular throughout life. I am a Bitcoin investor myself but I am not a Litecoin investor.

Second time I invested in Lite Coin I didn't get much benefit from here because first my market research was wrong. But after a long time I came back to this topic and I am ready to invest in this lite coin again. Since my benefit was earned I would like to come back and buy it again for $1300 every time this halving takes place.

Litecoin seems to have finally waken up from its long sleep: About 10% increase today with respect to Bitcoin. At $92 at the moment I'm writing this post, the $100 seem now within reach again.

If we look at the whole week, then it began like usually when Bitcoin pumps: a slight increase in LTC/USD (light blue line) but a decline in the LTC/BTC price (orange price). But on February 29, this tendency reverted, and LTC is now growing in a context of a stagnating Bitcoin price. I wrote elsewhere that I expected that to happen when the 65-73$ sideways corridor was left, and it seems that was exactly what happened.

1 have not used this Litecoin but from what I am seeing in the forum it is one of the good cryptocurrency in the market because people are using it to receive payment too. And the current price is $71.05 and that means the coin is improving in value and price, therefore investing in it is not a waste. But I don't know if the project is decentralized or not and only seen people talking about it at all time . And one of the good thing of the coin, the community support the coin so so the fear of the people is limited to some extent.

Given the market madness, investing in established currencies such as Litecoin becomes safer and less risky.
The platforms, in turn, do not hesitate to list project currencies based on simple conditions, perhaps the most important of which is paying listing fees, which may sometimes amount to monthly fees.
It is noted that most platforms shows that Ltc is considered stable compared to others.

The work team is still ensuring the strength of the network along with a strong community

He is? I thought that he has quit his position but yes, even if he has already quit. No doubt that he's still the main guy. And with the news[1] years ago, that's why I felt like it was an abandoned project and the community is the one that sets for running it and that's why it's still there.

[1] ‘Conflict of Interest’: Litecoin Creator Charlie Lee Sells His Entire LTC Balance

Charlie Lee sold all of his LTC to make the project more decentralized. It would not look good for a cryptocurrency creator to have a large stake on the network (conflict of interest). LTC is now in the hands of the community. Just like Bitcoin. It's one of the few projects that actually supports decentralization and censorship-resistance. While other coins have cheaper fees and faster speeds, they're often centralized and unreliable.

It's not about the hype, but rather the usefulness of a cryptocurrency. The time will come when LTC will gather the attention of mainstream investors and traders alike. It has a limited supply of only 84m units, making it second next to Bitcoin in terms of scarcity (if I'm right). The crypto market often behaves in strange and bizarre ways, so expect the unexpected. Wink
Well, that maneuver he did seems to have a significant impact to Litecoin. While the project is now on the hands of the community, if it's about the progress of it, it's visible that there's not that much happening on it. I think that he should have stayed and did made a lot but then, no matter what happens to Litecoin, it's still no doubt one of the best altcoins to be used for transfers but with investing on it. I'm done with it long time ago.

some stablecoin are being used by some marketplaces where users can use USDT or USDC.

There is no stable coin in this world based on facts. The dolar loses so do stablecoins. Swaping Stanbelcoins cost money (fees) so were is that stable. Their algos have been seen bleeding when Luna crashed.

And no I'n not stalking you even though it's the 3rd post I answer and quote you. I hope you can forgive.

In life nothing is stable because even the stablecoins aren't stable when the economy got on them changing their instabilities from one form to another, nit to talk of cryptocurrency where the whole thing there were unstable as well, being volatile as meant, this is what we should first considers, what are the factors that affects a currency stability, in case of USDT pegged with USD, not to even start going deep now into litecoin itself in details which is another talk to some other time.

Litecoin was one of the top coin even though it was a top 10 project in CMC. It is still a good coin to use for payments in various marketplaces as it is still faster than bitcoin and ETH. But there are a lot of new project that are offering better option than litecoin even some stablecoin are being used by some marketplaces where users can use USDT or USDC. Bitcoin competitors like litecoin, Bitcoin cash and others similar to those projects are losing their cause to the Eth L2 project which is highly scalable and business friendly.

L2 projects are usually centralized. What's the point of having low fees and faster settlement times if the network is in the hands of a few players? Besides, L2 requires you to pay an on-chain fee for closing/opening channels. Increasing the block size (on-chain scaling) would be the only way to go. Litecoin may have a 1mb block size, but it can handle far more transactions than Bitcoin because of the reduced block time.

I think it has a place in crypto land, especially when it's one of the few cryptocurrencies out there with decentralization in mind. The constant block reward halvings should make LTC scarcer (and hopefully more valuable) over time (there's a max supply of 84m coins). As long as LTC remains useful, nothing else matters. Just my opinion Smiley

Litecoin is not dead and due to it being ingrained into crypto for so long I don't think it will ever die.  Do I think it will outperform bitcoin, no.  But I do think it will pace with bitcoin so if you have litecoin you won't lose usd value of your stack.  When bitcoin fees are high it's nice going in amd out with litecoin and then transferring to bitcoin in the end.  Easy way to move crypto Smiley
yups , have been using litecoin alternate to Bitcoin when there is congestion like now and its
been very helpful for me and also litecoin had been standing for how many years now , it may lose the top rank
position but still the support stays and the value did not drop that bad comparing to other currencies that had
been former in rankings.
with the return of litecoin this is very encouraging news for all crypto users, especially for those who still hold litecoin, because the price of litecoin has now started to rise, for those of you who want to invest in litecoin I think now is the time, to buy it because the price has not rise too high.
not sure why there is need to RETURN when litecoin never leave ?

Inflation is a stablecoin that is artificially made due to some economic benefits. Don't want to talk about it in detail here but inflation in fiat is not always bad at least for a country's economy You are right that due to inflation we lose value. Still people wants to use stablecoin because stability is needed in a currency to conduct everyday transactions. If the currency value only rise then no one wants to sell it, which will create a liquidity crisis in the economy and if it loses its value quickly, then no one wants to keep that currency in their pocket.

Algo-based stable currencies are vulnerable which has been proven by the UST crash.

After all Altcoins were troubled recently, Litecoin is gaining more confidence again.

But can Litecoin outperform Bitcoin or is Litecoin dead in your opinion?
Comparing cryptocurrencies is tricky, as each has strengths and weaknesses. Each cryptocurrency operates within its own ecosystem and can offer different benefits. Where Bitcoin cannot be compared to the highest valued alt coin Ethereum, there is no question of comparing Bitcoin to Litecoin. According to my knowledge Litecoin is one of the top coins and it is a good coin. Often we see the growth of altcoins along with the growth of bitcoin currency, as there is a bitcoin halving ahead and there is a possibility of a huge pumping of bitcoins and the top altcoins can rise in price along with it. I think Litecoin can make its own place in the market in the near future.

Yes I think so too Litecoin is not dead and never will be.  Currently Litecoin is not growing with the Bitcoin market but I think it will pump up the market very soon. If the fake Bitcoin ETF is approved in January, there will be a lot of pumping in Bitcoin as well as a lot of pumping in Litecoin. Those who are holding litecoins have nothing to worry, you better hold on the price will go up very soon. I focused myself on buying and holding Litecoin.

Litecoin is not performing better for now and it because of anything than it has already make its all time high in years back and now resting in a bid to gather more momentum for the bull market where it will be served more opportunities to rise again and hit anyone all time high, we should have more hope on litecoin because it's coming back very big, fast and steady this time around, we should be more expectant on what it might turns out to become by then.
