my two cents on anonymity.

while anonymity does seem to be all the rage right now and good for a short term pump, i think it's too early for any coin to be implementing this feature.

the crypto currency landscape is changing rapidly as it always does.

the biggest thing on the horizon is the opening of bitcoin exchanges in new york city. the amount of money that will come into crypto currency is mind boggling.

i see no reason why altcoins will not eventually follow suit and find their way to these exchanges as well.

these exchanges will of course be highly regulated. the rules of which have not yet been finalized but, anti-money laundering will be high on the list.

i think you guys see where i'm going with this. anonymity could kill a coins ability to be listed on these exchanges.

until the nydfs issues it's final rules, anonymity should not even be considered.

What are the differences going to be between Logicoin and Quarkbar as you are obviously developing Pulse for both coins ?

How exactly would pulse work on a coin like logicoin where transaction volume is nearly nil.  If block creation was significantly slowed down during periods of low to no transactions, what incentive would people have to mine on the network?

Is there another part of this strategy that includes ways to increase the transaction volume of this coin?

Guys... I just checked your website. Someone might want to take a look. Says it's suspended.

Edit: Ah, not .info anymore. nvm.

Recurring btc payments don't work so well when you can't access your wallet Tongue At any rate hosting has been sorted and paid up for 6 months which should be plenty of time for SEO purposes as logicoin.info now has a 301 redirect to logicoin.io anyway.

Over the next couple of days I plan on releasing more technical information in regards to Pulse and how exactly it will affect the Logicoin network. We will also need to test out the Android wallet and Multilogic to ensure compatability but Pulse has no effect on the block headers which in theory means that all SPV blockchains should be unaffected.

Plans for the coming weeks:

  • Initiate public testnet for Pulse on the 5th
  • New Paper Wallets featuring our new logo and designs
  • Add new Logo to wallets and adjust mining reward
  • New Wallet released between the 10th-15th
  • Hardfork a week or so after new Wallets have been released

I will personally see to it that the hardfork goes much smoother than the last one did and will ensure those that don't upgrade on time will not poison the network.

So....Turns out I must have done something terrible in a past life to have had so many PC problems the past week. 2 Hard drives, 1 motherboard, 1 PSU and 2 GPU's later I'm back!

Good news is that I was able to retrieve 90% of my data.

So here's the plan. For the past few weeks I have been working with the CRF on a new way to handle transactions and what we have come up with is Pulse.

Read The Whitepaper

What this will mean is that LGC will never experience a stalled blockchain despite rapid changes in difficulty the blockchain will never go longer than 10 minutes (This can be changed) without producing a block and moving the chain forward. It also gives retailers the option to introduce a fee that will in turn have a very good chance of instantly creating a block with that TX which in turn means near instant confirmation of that transaction. If you have ever purchased anything with btc you would know that you can wait a very long time for that first confirm to come through. Pulse solves that problem and we hope it will make us that more attractive as a currency for real life transactions.

The plan is to have a public testnet running by the 5th and then assuming all goes well we will launch Pulse on the mainnet a week or so after that. I also plan on adjusting rewards to make it more profitable for miners. The reward adjustment will be somewhere in the vicinity of double - tripple current rewards.

Some of the finer details of Pulse still need to be worked out (Fee's and time between blocks) which is why we will be running a public testnet and asking for as much cooperation and feedback as possible.

Apologies for my recent 'vacation' but its back to work we go!

I have extra computer parts that I can donate.
Can you see what he needs so me and the investors behind me can get him up faster?

We can replace his PSU's and HD with new SSDs.

LMK, Thanks.

I do apologize for the lack of recent updates but i haven't really had much news to give, as previously stated our main dev has had quite a time with his computer in the past week and a half and communication has been less than great because of this issue, in the past week and a half our main dev has had to rebuild his computer multiple times because of hardware issues, he has some how managed to lose 2 hdds 2 psus and a mobo in the past week and a half. But thankfully these issues are being resolved and the data that was thought to be lost has been recovered, our DEV has asked me to let you all know that he is still working on the new algorithm and that he will be rejoining the community shortly.
