The coins that you mentioned OP might have lower prices this time but it's not enough reason to invest in them for long term just because of their current price. Remember, not all coins who are experiencing dips will surely recover when other coins are recovering too. Some may have left behind and end up as worthless coins. So having a good and thorough research is still very important so you will not waste your money, time and effort investing in those low potential coins.

Better divert your desires to bitcoin and eth now, while there's a good chance to purchase don't miss it because I have no confidence that those altcoins will provide us a good profit when perfect time comes. There's no difference with old altcoins that I've been holding, that's why I keep on suggesting to switch back on trusted coins instead of shitcoins. In my opinion, the only good coin for long-term investment are Bitcoin and Ethereum, because nothing can beat the popularity of Bitcoin and Ethereum, so I believe that the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum will definitely continue to grow and give me a lot of profit, because every time there will be many people who start to investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum, therefore I prefer to invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum for the long term instead of investing in any altcoin. 
If you those coin for long term obviously you'll loss since altcoin isn't good for long term investment, Bitcoin will perform better in the long run.
