Every altcoins that has a relation to bitcoin trading pairs fall down after bear market came by the time of ATH in btc. Right now as we experienced cheap price for entire cryptocurrency exchange markets, we should take this as best opportunity to buy coins with low price. That amount of $5k, I think good enough to fulfill your target of earning sustainable gains.

Make it all worth it for you $5k now, make sure those choices you made for those coins will be good enough to see them at popular and trusted exchange like binance. I would rather recommend reef finance coin and wink coins for long term investment plan which you're going to risk over. Cryptocurrency investment to profitability is not 100m dash, it is a long marathon! If you are suggesting Sol, cake, bnb etc because of the quick profit, I can almost guarantee you that you are probably going to lose out in the long term. What is important Cryptocurrency is long term perspective. Holding quality coin for long is where real profit money is! I have experienced this in ethereum, Polygon, bitcoin and bnb!

I am not sure the coin will bring profit if we invest long term, it is better to choose another coin that already has potential and will certainly bring profit that is ethreum, BNB, and some other top coins, but this all depends on our own beliefs because not all of our predictions will bring the truth because we only see the development of a coin.
I agree bitcoin, ethereum, and BNB are the best currencies for long term investment even if other coins are lost from the market there is no chance of losing these coins and the risk is much less. Traders like it and it is profitable to keep it for a long time even if the price goes down.But if he has the skills to trade, it will be better to trade bitcoin, ethereum or BNB because the movements of those coins are better than the other coins. So he can have a chance to make a profit daily or weekly.

Coins that are currently cheap doesnt necessarily mean its a good investment so we take advantage it.These coins you mentioned might be in your portfolio right? But its best for each investors to have their own understanding and do their own research. This way if the coins you chose are not what you expected it to be then you cant blame anyone but yourself alone.
Take time to dig deeper and dont rely with suggestions.

If you those coin for long term obviously you'll loss since altcoin isn't good for long term investment, Bitcoin will perform better in the long run.
According to the chart, seems cake and dot could bring some profit for short term trade in current condition... while sol is pure pump and dump shitcoin.

Well, I don't know how you see it but I think some altcoins, most especially those in the top 10 or 15 are actually good for long term investments, even, there are still alot of altcoins hidden in the top 300, 400, 500 and even 1000 on coinmarketcap which if can be discovered and bought now and kept as a long term investment, can bring in a very good and lucrative return even far more than your bitcoin investment would have yielded in that same time period.According to the chart, seems cake and dot could bring some profit for short term trade in current condition... while sol is pure pump and dump shitcoin.

Well that is the good idea buying a good coin in low price and holding it till the price will rise and then sell it is a good strategy and many people earn on it specially to those who has a big patience and we can see it or experience it on the price of bitcoin. But the question is how long we can hold? Or how big your patience is? Many investors loss in crypto because it is hard to hold specially when you saw that the current price of your investment is dropping and then being greedy will push us to sell in loss, so I suggest to all newbies out there that research more or learn more about crypto because you decide to invest in. I would suggest real estate, look at Singapore, the price of land there is really expensive, compare that to other investment opportunities like cryptocurrency which is volatile and it's still uncertain whether they will be able to stay for a really long time.
