We make a game with real cryptoeconomy
I'm back looking for some reviews. Did someone actually played it already? what can you say?

@Lordmancer do you have plans of developing it to be playable on a web browser in the future?

Technically it is possible, but the game cycles and UI are designed for mobile devices. So I think if you'd like to use a PC, it is better to use an emulator.

I played for 2 days.
Pros:
  • sound and graphics ok, the game is very playable and offers pvp
  • You can get attacked by other players at any time which is nice
  • different races to choose from
  • large world

Cons:
  • I had problems with loading instances. Sometimes the game gets stuck half way on the loading screen or displays "database error" or "unknown error" and you have to restart. One time I had to restart 5 times before "unknown error" screen stopped appearing. Got a new 2018 phone with updated android and firmware and playing on wifi so I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the game not my hardware.
  • The number of quests is limited and you can restart them every day so you're doing the same quests over and over until you reach desired level and quests are very much alike. The only difference is the number of things you have to kill. So one quest is to kill 200 archers and another 500 spiders. I wish there was more to it

Is it possible to play this game on a desktop through a web browser? Or is this game specifically designed to be played on either an Android or IOS devices only? I watched the YouTube launch trailer and the game does look fun to play, and it is even more rewarding for the players as they stand a chance to earn some free Lord Coins by playing the game.

Hi! You can use BLue Stacks emulator to play the game on PC
Remix OS is a good option too if they want to play it with PC the good thing is it's not lag compared to bluestack.

The original link of Remix OS you can found from here http://www.jide.com/remixos-for-pc

I use the the Bluestacks emulator to launch Android games on my desktop computer, and it works pretty well with my PC. I've read and watched several videos on Android emulation on Windows, and most of them say that Bluestacks is indeed a good option. Click here to go to Bluestacks' main site. The main page states that the emulator is 6x faster than the Galaxy S9+, but this depends on the performance of your PC, of course, but the emulator is faster than others I have used in the past.

I can't get it to run with Bluestacks even when I try to manually install the apk because it just shows a red ! over the icon after installing. Were there special steps to get it to work?

Another Android emulator that is good for games is NOX. just search it in google and it will give you the link to download NOX. Been using Nox in  different mmorpg and other online games like Loong Craft, Lineage II , Pokemon Go, Mobile Legends and Vain Glory. Tried it also in Lotdmancer and it is working fine.

In order to sell something, you need to reach higher levels and find or craft some unique items in the game.

Where can I find it anyway? And how much level do I need to achieve that? Last night I just opened market, is that the same thing with the market you mentioned about? And how much ia the current level cap? And btw gold is really needed on this game right? To get 5 food, it costs so much

Anyway, I like to play more of this game, hope that you can give more guides and tutorials for others so that everyone can enjoy this game

Find items? You can loot them from bosses or craft them. The level cap now is 60.

Have you watched our first video guide? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59MHAMEkF7Y&t=19s We will create more soon.

Already watched this but it does not say any details yet only some cover of the game as well. There is not all information there but it is quite useful, you should make some more so people will know it better

Looks very good, but I have a question. Why do game developers go for counter-party tokens or their own Alt coins and not for mainstream coins like Bitcoin. I know the scaling issues with Bitcoin was a problem, but second layer applications like the Lightning Network is solving those issues now.

I would much rather use a coin that are used by millions of people, than using a unknown coin that still needs massive adoption.  Huh

Also people are already asking questions about the exchanges that are supporting these coins?   Tongue

Lightning Network is good actually, but I do not think that it is already stable. There might be people developed the game by using that but people are too scared to play on their site yet. Anyway for the coin itself, of course bitcoin is much more better than any coin but to think that a game implemented those coin, I think this might work, as long as the game provide good things for players then it might work and mass adoption will be easy

For the exchanges, there are people claimed to know that they know some of it so it is not that bad either to have someone know it instead of no one knowing anything. This might happens if they are bigger enough, then other exchanges will come too

I can't answer for all game developers, but in our case, we conducted an ICO and we are obliged to use Lord Coin.

OK, that makes perfect sense now, I did not know that you went that route. It is unfortunate that you did not take "Augmentors" example, where they went for a Bitcoin/DataBits crypto tokens (DTB) combination - https://bitcoinprbuzz.com/press-release-shark-tank-augmentors-game/

Still, your game looks great and I hope you will be able to incorporate Bitcoin in there, some time in the future. Good luck with the project.  Grin

Ps, I am too lazy to signup with multiple exchanges for every service or new token I use. I want a one-stop solution.  Roll Eyes
A must thing to be add up which it should really have an option to have Bitcoin on this game because if they just solely focus on their own coin then we can already presume on what would happen
with this ahead. You are right and i do much prefer to have a one-stop solution because it is really hassle on finding up exchange just to buy the coin. Collaborating BTC/LC will might be a good way to attract more players.

Can you buy and sell items between players right on the marketplace or do you actually have to do it privately among users?

It's a question for more experienced users because I've literally spent an hour playing it. To my knowledge there's a marketplace available in town and you can list any item that you're holding in the inventory. You can choose if you want ingame gold coins or exchangeable tokens for it. I don't know if there's also a private option or a clan trade.

I tried it too for hours but not getting to the market yet. I do not know how to sell it by token, if people do not want to buy from the token then we will never get anything from it too. I think this is really hard game to get the token. And btw what items can we sell here? Now I am lvl 11 and only get items from quest, nothing else. And I believe this quest itema cant be sold right?
