What is your pint with this crap?
Nope it's your thread a crap.

I guess you're the only troll here. I didn't try to troll anyone.
Read your thread again. And your last message. Read how people puffed in vain trying to find the right topic in the English-language topics. Yo're a troll

.....The thread was a discussion about if bitcoin could be considered a nation or a country. Did anyone seen it and can find it?

Your description of the thread is too vague. Do you have an idea about the year it was posted? That should help us narrow down the search. I tried typing "bitcoin nation" in the search box and there are many topics that showed up but this 2013 thread is probably the closest based on the keywords https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-nation-serious-a-new-country-about-bitcoin-269059

Are you franky2 or some sort?

My thread is a crap. But look at yours... Adding tons of good info and help. Congratz...

I already read my own thread multiple times. Read yours and tell me what does it adds of useful info/help??? 0 thousands, 0 hundreds and 0 of good info and help. That's quite a lot!

You can marry franky if you fancy him so much! But I won't refer his name again because he's not here!

Nice that you think that the report was a troll. Maybe it was... Just maybe!

Hey troll now get ready for disrusts from DT-members.

I found the thread.

Well, multiple mistakes on my side. The thread was not in sub bitcoin forums. The thread is not even in English. An the thread points to external articles but the subject is also discussed inside the thread.
I'm sorry for the time I made you people waste.

So many posts but just a few data to use.
The forum is so huge that the search engine does not search in all the threads. I've experienced that before.

When did you read that thread a month ago, a year ago? Any senior members that post there if you remember? What is was all about except the words you had in mind? What was the discussion about?
You can't shoot in the dark with only some words. Could be in the Archive too.

I can't remember much about it because when I saw it, I also just gave a quick read and that's all.

The thread was a discussion about if bitcoin could be considered a nation or a country. Did anyone seen it and can find it?

What was so important in that thread that you are so eager to find it in any case?

If you just need the information about this topic, you can publish a new thread with the same topic "if bitcoin could be considered a nation or a country" and there will be hundreds of replies to that topic that may help you.

Not important. It was curious. Because people's minds are creative and I would never think of anything like that. And I like to see out-of-the-box thinkings and etc. It was just out of curiosity and also to share with some friends of mine!

I don't want people to be wasting their time searching for it! Maybe we should forget about this, because if I am wrong about the place or even about the words in the title, or worse, if it wasn't here, people is just wasting their times and then I don't have how to apologise for my mistake! :|

The OP in the thread, if I'm not mistaken, was giving his arguments why and how Bitcoin could be considered a nation by making some assumptions and analogies but I can't remember any. And if I try to even make a sketch of what could those assumptions and analogies, I might very well be missing the spot by a lot!

Please don't tell me it's this one: The relationship between Bitcoin and human civilization by RainbowKun

No, it wasn't that one.

At this point I'm already questioning my own sanity. Did I really saw this thread??? Jeezzz, nevermind. Thanks for the effort

Hello.
I hope this thread is in the right location.

I need/want the community to help me to find a thread that I saw, not sure if it was in this forum, but it was in one of the Bitcoin section/sub sections.
I already tried to use ninjastic to try to find the thread by some keywords but I couldn't find it. I also tried the forum search engine it also didn't return the thread whatsoever.

The thread was a discussion about if bitcoin could be considered a nation or a country. Did anyone seen it and can find it?

Thanks

perhaps it

Unfortunately no. The first link was already suggested!

This post isn't exactly fitting to your criteria of keywords, though maybe that's why you aren't finding it. This thread was made by theymos, and has a theme of creating a nation somewhat. Has been active in the last year too. That thread at least had some decent discussion in it, although there's been plenty of discussions relating to a Bitcoin nation over the years, so you might find it difficult to find the exact one.

Obviously, if you could start a new discussion if you want to discuss something like that. Unless, you just want to read up on the old thread due to it being of particular value to you.

Thanks for the efforts and I end up even finding more interesting stuff. But no, it was not that one.

The thread was a discussion about if bitcoin could be considered a nation or a country. Did anyone seen it and can find it?
The closest thing I could find [based on its subject field] is the following "old" thread: If Bitcoin were a country...
- Despite having my doubts for the next one, I'm going to list it for the sake of this thread: Floating Bitcoin Nation of Interconnected Islands

I'm lean to believe the thread was relatively recent!
~Snipped~
I think at least 2 of these 3 words were in the title: "bitcoin", "considered", "nation" and/or "country".
Perhaps it was a slightly different keyword [e.g. City]: First Bitcoin City

I have never crossed myself with any of those thread. But they are interesting too! Thanks

- Despite having my doubts for the next one, I'm going to list it for the sake of this thread: Floating Bitcoin Nation of Interconnected Islands
I don't think it's that one either because OP mentioned that the thread he is looking for was posted in one of the Bitcoin sub-boards.

Perhaps it was a slightly different keyword [e.g. City]: First Bitcoin City
That's what I initially wanted to suggest as well. However, based on OPs explanation of the thread content, it's not that one either.

@darkv0rt3x
Can you remember something more about that thread? Who posted it? Do you remember if it was from a low-rank or high-rank member?
Was it a question that someone asked or reasons why Bitcoin should be a nation or have its own nation?
Were there any pictures, stats, quotes, something else interesting in the OP that you remember?
Did it get many merits?

Was there a post in that thread made by a certain user that caught your eye for some reason?

Well, unfortunately there is not much that I remember about it.
What I can say, and with some degree of uncertainty is that, at least, the first posts didn't have any images. The user was low-ranked (if my memory don't play tricks on me). I can't remember if there were merit given to the OP.

And this is also a very long and dark shot. If anyone can't find the thread nor remembers it, it could be deleted or even I get confused and it wasn't here I read about it. But, to counter this, I don't use any other forum about Bitcoin other than this one. But I have to put this possibility on the table, given the fact that no one can find it or remember it!

Thanks for trying to help.

I don't know if the thread was too old or not. I think it was not too old because I come to the forum more or less regularly and I spotted that thread during the last year. However, that doesn't mean the thread is only 1 year old, but I can't precise if it was 2 or 3 or 4 years old. I'm lean to believe the thread was relatively recent!

I took a look at your link and I think that wasn't the one!
I also used the search tool here in the forum and I went through all returned results. I couldn't find it either. I searched "bitcoin nation", "bitcoin country", "bitcoin considered country" and nothing came up. I think at least 2 of these 3 words were in the title: "bitcoin", "considered", "nation" and/or "country".

you can simle search using google "site:https://bitcointalk.org "

I used ninjastic. I said it in the original post. I can try your approach too. I'll give it a try! And I know how to use the search tool. No need to go through docs or tutorials. :p. Looks like manxplaining. lol
