What's new about this? I mean almost all sectors of the world there are lots of lots of people taking advantage of those who have no knowledge on what they are entering. The.key is to educate yourself and be observant enough, do some research and evaluate things properly to came with a good decision.

Nothing new about this, there is a lot of scammers, that is a cancer of this world. Internet is paradise for scammers! In real life scammers
needs to look in your eyes and lie, that is not easy. On internet people can hide many things and scammers are using that.
I am advertising one ICO, I invested my own money in that, that is not some guarantee I invested cause I believe in BitDice. Before I invested
my money I checked information`s about BitDice casino, their owners, community, I searched a lot for other people opinions. Who ever plan to
invest in any ICO should do the same.
In beginning nobody could guarantee for bitcoin too, now it is same with ICO`s. Some of them will be a really good deal, others will be scam alt-
coins.

The projects you listed are small time projects, I think the bigger issue is that its hard to tell from big money ICOs if they are a scam or not. Those small projects are easy to avoid but unfortunately some idiot will always support them anyway.

Yes I agree with you, There are always some people who are so ignorant, who will always participate in an Ico. whith out checking out for details. People do not just grow up. I can see this trend in my country. The just are fools in crypto business. I wish i can just flog them. Sorry for saying like this. But if we do not participate in scam ico. we will win this war.

I agree, there are tons of scammers here on this forum. Not long ago another blatant scammer (Windpower) got caught and had his account negative trusted as a result. The only problem with scammers is that by the time they get caught, they will have enough money to buy another account and continue scamming. There is no real way to stop these people unfortunately. The cycle will just continue to go around with no real end, until the scammers themselves stop.

In many cases surely the scam has netted the scammer more than enough to do more than buy just another account. The scammer I dealt with said he had not eaten for days and was working on the visa card project full time. He said he had bills and rent to pay. I told him he needed to provide something like a working website for me to consider investing. Even though he used a free adminlte template I gave him the benefit of the doubt but he was a scammer who no doubt would have duped lots of people. When I made it clear I would be investing and posted on his thread, one day later he closed the thread saying he sold the 'business' to a UK based company...

The best way to get involved with a dev has to be via someone with excellent history recommending someone. One of the ones to avoid are the ones who pester you with PMs instead of posting in a dedicated thread.

The best thing is having own team. Hiring someone online is very risky for both the project and the money you will pay him.

Agreed but the issue of scammers reeling in their victims by deceit and then asking them for money before running off is very common.

Example: If we joined a campaign by project scammer creating but we don't know that. Can say we are become to scammer like them?

Really very difficult for know this project is trust or scam. If have a ways can know it, I hope anyone in this thread tell me about it. Thanks!

The OP gives two examples of tactics used by scammers.

I don't touch an ICO unless the company has a website, whitepaper and is incorporated somewhere and i can see staff photos on the website and verify the team members

I agree with your statement. There are several ICOs and pre-ICOs going on where potential investors have asked about why the website or whitepaper does not have full names and details of the "team" but they do not reply to those posts.

Because bounty hunters are sending out social media posts and thread replies in the hope of lining their pockets while showing ICO avatars, they use usual nonsensicals such as "great ICO" and "I am looking forward to it, great work" and "I trust the dev"

Too many scammers around

There are scammers everywhere so we should really be careful.
It is much more easier to scam in the crypto currency because of the world wide transaction happening in just a sec and the anonymity of the transaction.
So be really careful in investing your money.

Look at my trust ratings page.

I had one today who thought he could blackmail me.
Reported it to the admins, and I am waiting on their response, if I get any.

Watch out people Smiley
