Do you see what happend with LuckyCoin, I think the same story waits us. They will dump until capitalization will reach 100-200k$ and we will see 3-5 satoshi per LOT.

But Luckycoin was never as popular as Lottocoin. Therefore we have a bigger community standing behind it.

I am against namecalling, but with no evidence to back this up this smells like FUD

Look on it from other way, Lotto is one of the most profitable coins right now to mine in scrypt, yet none of the multipools are mining them, as soon as they start mining them and dumping for btc, price will go down to 20 satoshi and it will take some weeks to recover (if it will recover with right marketing)

I will just qoute myself now.I was writing it when we were at around ~40 I believe or slightly more...who sold back than saved him 50% of money..now he can buy 2x more coins. It's hard to say where it will go down, it will either drop a bit and spike up or coin will die..next few days will tell Smiley

Why would they stop? Unfortunately LOT is currently the most profitable Alt to mine, or at least the most profitable with any decent exchange volume, so it's likely to be stuck in the multi-pool yoyo for a long time. Pools come in, drive up difficulty, leave, dump coins, and leave everyone else holding the bag until the difficulty drops back down. Then rinse and repeat.

Alt coin devs really need to figure out a self-defense mechanism for this. It's destroying many Alts that would otherwise have promising outlooks as it prevents natural price discovery mechanisms from functioning normally. There's no point trying to explain to the pools or the mindless drones who use them that they're killing the golden goose, so the only option is to destroy their profitability.

This.

This was a concern when everyone was in such a frenzy to get the coin on cryptsy and coinwarz.

epic shit with prices, we went down to 27, time to sell with epic loss and go out of this "coin that is a game", yea it's game and u have lost.
Wuhaha.
-> 20 in a few hours.

Cow pools are autoselling. Its crashing the price. Once they stop it will be back up. Sell if you wish to, your loss

Best solution would be to get a high(er) constant hash rate. Then the cowpools wouldn't have a chance.

To achieve this we need more marketing, more services and so on.

I would want us to switch off focus on the price, and start preparing for the true goal instead, to be the gambling coin. Only way that will be possible is if we all stand united and backing in up. So lets join forces guys, and just make it happen. The ones that are patient and willing do see the future that this coin could have, those people will see rewards in time.

Cheers!

Finally someone with the right focus

But it's the same with every coin. It's not like only LOT is mined and autoselled by cowpools. The problem is that we have less buyers and this is what makes the price go down. Actually there isn't much value between 25 and 30 satoshis but only a few ppl are buying.

I think even if people talk bad about lotto, they are talking about it, you know? So it's good for promotion and keeps LOT on top so everybody can see it and then take their own conclusions about what they think about the coin and if it's worth invest on it or not.
The community is growing and people who are discovering Lotto is seeing some value on it and they are fighting to see the coin on top. People like C3ALL is needed for the health of the community because they show their view point that is usually the oposite from the others and this cause discussions and then lead the community to become stronger!

exactly!

Massive overly optimistic to think that crypto will ever take off to that degree and remain unregulated.

The swings in value will have a massive effect on its links with gambling too.  If one person buys their crypto for $1 a coin, and another buys for $5 per coin.  Is it right they sit at the same table when playing 1 coin a hand?

A multitude of complications when linking gambling to fiat and involving regulation.

Its also fine to say that if people hold long term the value goes up.  Maybe when there were a handful of coins, not so with the number available now.  Also who goes into a casino, buys chips, plays, and then just keeps those chips until they can find a way out?

Also, with fluctuations of 10% in an hour on crypto, its entirely possible to win at a crypto casino and still walk away worse off because the fiat exchange rate bombed while you were playing.

As for the divorce guy, why did he need to move to chili if crypto is untouchable?  Its because the wallet would also be decreed marital property and presided over as such.  It doesn't matter if he bought gold bullion, bananas or bitcoin, it would still have to be counted and apportioned accordingly.

C3ALL I've noticed the tone in your posts has changed somewhat. I think you will notice that the response to your comments will be more positive when you take this approach and people will be more likely to listen and engage you in conversation.

I noticed the same as well..

As for the chili guy.. i dont think he was talking about the aspect of the crypto being safe... i think he was talking about escaping the law.. with a majority of his liquid assets intact.. which really.. makes a lousy ad...

"BTC - An Escape from the shrew to a better life"... though i am sure a lot of divorcees will disagree with me on that.. their slogan will likely be..
"BTC - The best way to BTB" *edit:BTB= BURN THE B*T*H

c3all is right on the issue of government and regulation..

Sooner or later government will institute stricter regulations on cryptocurrency converted to Fiat. Of course, legally we are all supposed to be paying our taxes on it to our respective government. A $1000 magic dollars (depending on ur rig/trading acumen) turning up every few days into your account is going to raise some flags eventually.

As for the casino's holding on to the coins that's kinda ridiculous to expect.. BTC is nice for the value it represents but at the end of the day its just that a "representation".
No matter how much we may earn on cryptocurrency.. the ultimate truth is "Cash is king" (fiat). Basic stuff like food, clothing, shelter..you know stuff to keep the mrs. happy.. well that's all in fiat transactions..

Oh sure there's every bit of chance that we are moving to a single global currency.. and it will end up being backed by something even larger.. but thats a far away concept.. which probably wont be implemented till we have something like 99.9999% HACK PROOF invented to keep it safe...

I suggest MrLotto revamps his website. It looks too amateurish. what do you gu ys think??

needs more professionalism. needs javascript/interactivity. needs a good promotional video on the first page. needs a good wordpress theme

a theme like this : http://themeforest.net/item/churchope-responsive-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/2708562

the countdown= halve countdown,

then we could put some games on those slideshows that accept LOT

I agree that the website could be a lot better. The front page is aimed at the mining community but doesn't do much for the regular person or promoting lottocoin for use as a gaming coin. I would make this a priority.

I can confirm a new website is in the working. Stay tuned!
