It´s saturday an it´s 21:39 UTC TIME.
This is my problem, and i sent it to ltcgear people:

"hello, i have a question. I have 200 qASICs SIC SHARES (Q OF ASICS)) on my account on ltcgear.com and this friday i didn´t receive on my ltc wallet the ltc from my shares. i want to know why i didn´t receive the ltc this past friday. Have you a nice day."

i didn´t receive the ltc from that 200 shares.

Anibody knows what is the problem??   Undecided

I also didn't want to pick a quarrel here. I'm speculating as anyone. All shares I sold were
from an account which I was sure contains only newer shares, just in case I'm wrong and
it turns out there is a share age.
That's all we can do, being honest about when the shares were bought when selling. And
hoping for no fees in the end. Smiley

If it´s free hosting and electric for more than 12 months for shares, the better. I am all for it, but like i said - seeing many many customers ask about share age before buying leads me to believe that there is indeed a age.

Lifetime free even better:)

Hi guys,

I am really sorry I dont visit this old nest more often, but I am busy running between EU and Asia.

About the 40K0 deal - its negative balance for us now, but will bring more customers next week. Also, some people rushed to reserve them, then they cancelled their orders so they were placed back in inventory.
The deal was created after discussion with some affiliate partners which will cover Black Friday week/day.
The new chip will be presented along with an offer to convert old shares (worst power consumption) to new shares (better power, multi coin but with an extra cost.)
This also explains why there is no request for contract renewal from our side.

Cheers,
Chris

That's why he's not worrying about the share age. However, I'm not sure if he's still doing the conversion thing because he also posted on LTCGear that his plan wasn't to unveil Generation II this early. I don't think we'll have to pay though.

This clearly answers age related question. All of them no matter age will be converted to new Qasics shares. More expensive, but better power.

the owner of ltcgearstore is just a customer like you and me Cheesy
except that he was perky enough to exploit the transferability of
shares for his rather dumb "business idea".
he has no special connection to Chris, as far as I know. so he's
also speculating and answers what his customers like to hear.

No offence, but it fits well with your arguments that you offer
the owner of ltcgearstore as some kind of authority.

I know that`s "only" a customer.

But often customers ask about the share age, that made me to believe that it is true what is written on LTVGear Website (12 Months free etc)

This share-age is all esoterics if you ask me. I would bet the shares are not marked
with their age, they are just a number in some database which says how many shares each user
ownes.

Chris never said anything precise about the share-age.

Thats what i thought, I might be wrong.

you might be wrong. But i am not 100% sure if my version is the right one, too.

All i know is that:

"Power and hosting are included in original price in advance for 12 months. After this period, share owners are required to pay in advance power and hosting for next 12 months."

SO:

And when i sell a 11 months old share to someone , he has 1 month Power and Hosting left for free after that he has to pay in advance if he wants to keep the shares for another year.

Thats how i understand it, and thats why i am buying only new shares (up to 1 week)

The issue will be there is no way to find out the share age, someone could tell you brandnew but sell you old ones, it will be yet another scam.

Also, wondering how would the system keep age track of hundreds and thousands of shares?

Its doable but very complicated.

I´m not too tech savvy but i think technically no problem tag an ID number on each share. It´s nothing more than a data. The database knows exactly when a share was bought and where it was send to user A to user B etc.

When they can land on a comet and on the moon, this should be doable imaho.

LTCGear needs to know when the 12months are over. They can not just guess.

Like i said, i am not 100% sure, too Cheesy

But i think i know who i can ask and where i buy many people asked and that was the answer most of the times:

And less than a week is OK for me Smiley just in case hehe

Interesting, you may be right then.

It is also doable to design a fancier web-page, to include 2FA, to avoid the problem of multiple-customers-per-payment-address,  and many other things.
Chris is not the person who cares about such stuff, this is the impression I got after several months of mining
with ltcgear.

I understand the cited sentence as a pure precaution in order not to promise shares valid for a lifetime without any fee.
It is also completely unclear if you bought 10 shares a month ago, buy 10 now and then transfer one. Is this a new share
you transfer or an old one? It makes no sense to have a share age without disclosing such important rules.

If you know who to ask, ask him. You seem to believe you're the first genius who comes up with this issue. I don't bother
to correct you on that again.

will somebody who knows what they are talkining about please address this question.... what happens to the old shares?
Nobody here knows anything! Chris was asked multiple times (in the forum, and, I bet, via email) but he
never addressed that question.
Hmmm why are so many people asking then about the share age before buying?
Same reason why many people care about their karma. I might be totally wrong, however,
shares might be precisely marked with their age and people with their karma. It's all
speculation at this point.
