This share-age is all esoterics if you ask me. I would bet the shares are not marked
with their age, they are just a number in some database which says how many shares each user
ownes.
Chris never said anything precise about the share-age.

As it is now, the pre-shares cannot be transferred directly, so it is more hassle
to implement this in a "shop" like this ltcgearshop. Likewise, they don't sell MODs.

It's processing, which is the de-facto final state. You will only get completedorders when something is stuck on-hold and Chris had to fix it.
I can see the pre-shares sitting there (in yellow^^). Just there is no way to transfer them.
