I'm really not feeling comfortable flaunting your riches coming from crypto or bitcoin itself.

That is the point, there were many scammers in the Bitcoin space and there were many who ran away with huge number of coins and who knows what is the source of his coins. May be I am wrong but the point is that we should not believe blindly what the internet tells us.
