Are there still no news if and when AMD cards will be ready to mine the Phi2 algo?
You can mine PHI2 with fancyIX's AMD miner https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases
I think thats the only available miner for mining PHI2 with AMD cards for now.
Which intensity should I use for my rigs (AMD 570 4 GB graphic cards)?
Thanks for your coming recommendations on mining LUX with AMD cards.

Great claims,

But look how much people are mining with FPGA:
Phi1612 (Luxcoin, Folm): 5.2GH/s (650MH/s per card x eight) ($456/day at Apr-30 prices)
see here, how:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/diy-fpga-mining-rig-for-any-algorithm-with-fast-roi-3459858

what going to do about it.
As @Dead Things mentioned, there was shift 1,5 months ago from phi1612 to phi2 algo to protect Luxcoin mining from FPGA asics.

ASIC/FPGA miners are really aggressive in targeting profitable coins like Luxcoin. I appreciate Lux developers being active and trying to make mining accessible to everyone as long as possible.

Yep. Guess sooner or later ASICs/FPGAs will prevail in the end, but for now we are good and hope status quo will keep standing.

Yes I guess it is just a question of time before fpga becomes to gpu what gpu became for cpu. But thankfully the devs are still working on keeping gpu and spread the hash. With more miners going for fpga the need for gpu mining would disappear though.

Yeah, new algo saved us from  FPGA for now. We still need price recovering to march-may levels. This crypt summer was way too cold!

Phi2 is what they did about it. Phi1612 != Phi2.

Guys I want to offer an excellent idea for developers  Grin
I do not have time to update my wallets, they come out so often.
Why not make a purse, which itself will be automatically updated?

This wallet itself would download updates and run the installation. And everyone would be happy  Roll Eyes
There is already implemented autoupdater in current wallet release though  Wink
