This is the mandatory update. Otherwise, you will be in wrong chain.

I think all these wallet updates and issues are why the coin is losing value. Probably best if this is the last mandatory wallet update for at least a year. It takes ages to reindex and really who wants to waste so much time on a coin.

Well, important events demand wallet updates, thats how it should be. Only thing is make it more harmless to network and end users. Im sure that future updates gonna be right this way.
