@Buttermuncher Agree. Buggy Wallet release follows another buggy wallet release. Not to mention "Jumping the Shark" by hiring Clowns that not only entertain but scare the bejeezes out of everyone. Going down for the count. Deadcoin walking like somebody mentioned on the Discord channel.

I would suggest to follow staking optimization instruction of guide below and split you coins to chunks by 100-150 luxs to avoid remature of entire coin balance after getting stake - in that case only chunk that got a stake goes to remature.

I'll give it a go, I've been rejoining into one 500'ish coin input after each stake so ive only got to wait for a few stakes till it splits itself to 4 inputs of around 125.
still cant see how 550 can get 3 blocks a day though cause it'd have 4/5 inputs of around 100-125 that take 32hours to mature
Is there a threshhold built in to stop the inputs splitting any lower than 100?

I would suggest to follow staking optimization instruction of guide below and split you coins to chunks by 100-150 luxs to avoid remature of entire coin balance after getting stake - in that case only chunk that got a stake goes to remature.

thats odd I've got 540 coins staking 24/7 and I get one stake every 4 days on average

100 is too smal quantity to be lucky enough for getting stake. I would suggest to buy/mine more coins to have a POS rewards on stable basis.
As example, here is my recent stakes with 550 coins in "game"
550 coins staking continuously and get around 3 times of staking rewards (0.8 LUX for each time).As example, here is my recent stakes with 550 coins in "game"
It also means that each day 550 staked coins can return nearly 2.4 coins as staking rewards.

I think this is the last time to buy lux cheap. If the big investors really knew what kind of technology lux has and what kind of benefits it will bring in the future, they would buy it in bulks.
what you say is right, this coin is very good to save and I am sure that next year will experience a better price increase. for current market conditions, only capital buys and patience is needed.

staking has never worked for me.
I have been staking 100+ lux for 8+ months in unlocked local wallet. Never have received any pos reward, zero.
Version always up to date to current available, wallet has 16 connections and says staking.
Machine is online 24/7 and pretty much 99% uptime.

I was a bit of angry, pos stopped working for me like a week, and then just got like a tripple amount of what expected to be in next few days, so much RNG!

Follow LUX QT guide below, reset/upgrade chapter from page 11. Also make sure to download latest wallet https://github.com/LUX-Core/lux/releases/tag/v5.2.3the problem is still the same, my wallet turns off spontaneously, which leads to error.
