I think one of the reason the price is so low is wallet issues. I find it very strange that after 3 updates they could't fix the maun issue - lagging...

Too bad the lux devs aren't going to release a wallet that increases lux price

Please consider adding signature campaign for LUXcoin, dev. We should have massive marketting campaign, something like signature one.

Good idea.

you're double retarded if you mine to cryptopia for this coin.  you get pos rewards for keeping your wallet online, just keep them in your wallet before you sell them

Pretty much that yea , free coins for waiting a lil longer.

SunStruck and fleer: Ok, I will reconsider using a local wallet; however, can you please tell me how much space the LUX wallet takes on your machine? And which specific wallet do you use? Because my experience from other coins is that not all wallets support staking.

Here is my experience from staking NXS (Nexus coin), the oracle wallet takes around 5-6 GB of space (it started with >10GB and then I deleted some unwanted data). So far, I have mined >200 NXS in 45 days period and only received <0.05 NXS in stake rewards, that is ~0.025% in stake rewards. So I will be more than happy to not stake and have 6 GB of free space on my SSD  Grin

Can you please tell me what is the stake rewards you have received so far by mining LUX? If it is more generous than NXS, then I will definitely re-consider my position. Hope it helps! Thank you Smiley
You will reconsider? lol! Staking cost almost nothing if you mine coins. Becides, this is probably the first time i hear some1 complain about SSD space for wallet Smiley

A wondeful PoS and PoW mechanism coin, great! Now we can get coins through store in wallet at open running(more coins in wallet more frequent and profit, 50%ROI), or by cpu mining. Of couse more reward in PoW(80%) than PoS(20%).

I am running luxd on linux and the .pivx folder is around 350 mb (.pivx is the equivalent to /appdata/pivx/ on windows)

Currently you get 1.2 lux as staking reward , and you should have around 50+ coins in your wallet to get it more frequent.

Thanks for sharing this information! May I ask, how frequent is the stake reward?

Guys...maybe this question was already answered before; however, I started mining yesterday (about 16 hours ago) through Altminer.net LUX pool and the pool usually makes a payout  every 2 hours and I am yet to see a single deposit to my Cryptopia wallet. Can you please advice, as to if there is a problem? Thanks!
If there was the answer why you ask again? Cryptopia LUX-wallet doesn't work neither for deposit nor withdrawals.

I haven't found an answer yet. A lot of my friends have been using Cryptopia wallet address to deposit their mining proceeds and it worked just fine, until yesterday when the LUX wallet was disabled at Cryptopia for a while and when it was enabled, they haven't received any payments.

I am not going to install a LUX wallet on my machine, which takes multiple GB of hard disk space. So if a exchange wallet support is unavailable, then screw this coin!

I trust this coin will be over.

No transparency and no news . Just wallet wallet wallet. Maybe its should called wallet coin. Wallet should be done before launch .It is a Top 1 joke in 2017..

Originally I hope stupid investor coming. But now investor is very smart and they cant invest a more uncertainly and non-transparency coin.

This coin still alive depend on people greedy and they never  admit their failure.

Everyone I bless you can get more in this coin.

@everyone
There was an issue with the protocol upgrade process and we are working with Cryptopia to ensure that their node is back up and working again.

We are also working to upgrade the entire coin source to activate SegWit. This will take an estimated time of 1-2 weeks.
For those not familiar with SegWit, here is a link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SegWit

Sure , the answer is here. Thanks guys
