I'm getting ~9.0Mh/s with R9 290x
I'm getting ~3.98Mh/s with R9 270x
I'm getting ~3.6Mh/s with R9 270

Quote
sgminer.exe -k groestlcoin -I 20 --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://grs.cpu-pool.net:3650 -u x.x -p x

I seem to get a lot of "Accepted Diff -0.000/-0.000"

This this normal? The -0/-0 part?HuhHuh?

DubFX: do you have a link for that statement? I'm not very informed regarding mintpal, other than knowing that they're a fairly large xch.
I've just seen some user claiming this while browsing forums it may be a FUD if so i'm sorry for spreading it i'll try to find it and link it to you okay?

Why are you so keen on getting advantage on nvidia cards? Surely that can't be good for distribution as most miners don't have nvidia cards?
IMHO everyone should be able to use the same guns.

nVidia hardware has always looked pretty bad (for mining) until December 2013 when finally scrypt performance of cudaminer finally matched AMD's R290 cards. However high end nVidia GPUs were way too expensive in comparison.

All of this has changed in February only with the inexpensive and power efficient 750Ti cards... Why can't we make AMD look bad for a while? We need to make up for years of humiliation Wink

Christian

Well GPU manufacturers aside, if a coin can be mined much more faster on nvidia cards than AMD, all those coins will end up at just handful of miners and that's a major distribution failure. The mining model is far from perfect for coin distribution and these kind of 'unfair' advantages only make it worse IMHO.
I'm all for miner devs getting their fair fee for their efforts but at some point it's in everyone's best interest to have the same tools to mine.

It's actually good idea to help nVidia cards as much as possible with optimized miners, that will generate more competence between AMD and nVidia and that's good to us, miners.

how is 11 MHash/s (780Ti stock) to 9 MHash/s (R9 290 OC) "much faster".

okay, we're not done with optimization yet, but I think you're overdramatizing this.

AMD radeon 7970?Huh

7970 you mean config or what ?

Config is up post,
- TC me work 16384 - imho TC is not important in this coin.
- memory try underclock, as you can
- GPU overclock, as you can /// try find optimal ratio hashrate/Watt ///
   = me work 280x /7970/ - undervolt to 1.081 v - 1100 Mhz - 100W - 6.45 Mhash
= or you can try overvolt and overclock - hashrate up 8 Mhash
- Intensity 20

My settings for 7970: 6.4mh/s

set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
sgminer -I 20 -g 1 -w 256 -k groestlcoin --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://pool.net:3650 -u userr -p pass --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8193

overclock: 1100/1350

Hi! Are there bounties for translations? In particulary I would be interested to translate the official topic for the italian board.

23/51 alerts on Virus-Total for the CPU miner. Sounds a bit much, usually only 1 or 2

All false-positives I assume?

I just don't know what you have cooking for nvidia so I assume the worst, but I agree slight hash differences has no effect in the long run.

Are you Nvidia fanboy lol?  Grin  People should always buy the best product they can, no matter what brand it is. Buying 750Ti is good idea right now. Who knows what's the best in next autumn?

Where 750Ti have 7.8 MHash/s ? 2 days ago had half of this results

Not released yet. And we cannot release this open source, so expect a bit of extra time for us to split cpuminer stratum code and mining modules into separate executables in a GPL-compatible way.

We're not going to forfeit the nVidia advantage this time (happened with HeavyCoin, won't happen again).

no open source, no trust imo.
