I’m always a victim of this mistake before when I’m still allure on online casino. I keep playing every night after work. I always play until midnight which makes me consume most of my rest time for my job preparation tomorrow.

The result is I don’t have much energy at work due to insufficient sleep and I lose funds on gambling because I keep playing quick due to my limited time. The effect is very disadvantageous to me since I both lose in these situations. This is the reason why I change my gambling pattern significantly that limit me to play only during weekends when I don’t have job tomorrow.

This is an advice based on my experience, don’t ever insert gambling on your schedule if you really don’t have free time for it because it will always result to disaster in both gambling and your life.

Absolutely a great topic that touches on one of the most pressing issues. As a rule, the path of any gambler, for example, who is fond of batting, begins with the fact that he mentally analyzes the games, but this analysis is not implemented anywhere. I mean, gambler doesn't bet, he just thinks. Then he gets bored and makes a bet, usually a successful one. At the same time, he has a lot of time. But then he gets into gambling and wants to bet, but he doesn't have much time, for example, because of work. But the habit remains, and such a gambler makes bets without analyzing his actions and loses.
I've seen it with my friends too.
Therefore, I would like to say that if a gambler does not have time, it is better to be outside of gambling.

nah! That's not true. What's your problem is possibly that you're not able to manage your time the right way. It could be another thing outside of Gambling. Their are people that comes back from work and waste a lot of time on the social media or just watching movies and end up allowing it affect thier next day at work. Planning your day will actually help you manage what and what you do at every step of the way.

Like, if you're playing your casino once you're done with the days work, it's as simple as setting out how long you will play the casino before going off to do prepare for the next days job. Set out an alarm that reminds you that you've exceeded the amount you're to spend in your casino and that way, you kind of monitor and control your excesses so you can go about your gambling in a responsible way.

That's on a different perspective of what Op is saying, although it's cool to set out some time for gambling during our free times. But those who are not able to do this are actually on Op's radar of advice. Not everyone knows how to deal with challenges, and most people only have fewer sleeping times, because they gamble during their resting time. Or few hours before they go to work. Everyday requires lots of chores and home keeping before we go to work. The time management as you said, will definitely affect the player, as every single minute he spends gambling could be converted to hours, due to the level of curiosity gambling could cause to a player. Some would forget they've spent more hours gambling and could sleep off on their computer. That's actually where this gets bad.

If you don't have time to relax and you're always stressed out doing an activity that often causes stress - gambling - your results will deteriorate rapidly because you won't be able to listen to your inner voice and make informed decisions. Losing control is the easiest thing that can happen to you
This is one thing most people don't know, and they see it as a very common thing. Everything has time, and you just need to give your body the rest it needs instead of stressing the brain more.

There are people who can just finish up with stressful work and need to rest and relax. Instead of looking for things to do or lying down and sleeping, they will go straight to an online casino to place multiple bets, and the outcome of the game most times can turn out negative due to their restless minds.

            -     Gambling should be considered just for fun and should not be thought of as a job. As for me, I only play when I have a free day and need to have fun.
It also gives me comfort when I have a problem or am a little stressed.

And when I lose, I'll stop, watch for a while, and then later on, I'll exit. That's the same cycle I follow when I gamble in a casino. And I've been doing it for a year here in the crypto
space field.

that's what gamblers should do, that they can play, but they also need to manage their time and set limits so that gambling doesn't interfere with their activities. if they have to stop, then they just stop, and when they play, they know their limits, so they don't use too much money and it doesn't disturb their psychology. this can be said to be a responsible gambler, because responsible gamblers are those who can control their gambling, not vice versa, gambling controls them.
We are so lazy and so unconscious that we never live according to a routine which is why no matter how much we set a gambling limit we always go over it. at first we can control ourselves but gradually we become addicted to gambling due to which we increase the amount of gambling.  And this is how we gradually become deeply addicted to gambling. there are many of us who cannot think of gambling as a bad thing and those who think of gambling as a simple and easy thing become addicted to gambling more quickly. as they have no control over themselves, they always exceed their limits

What you're basically saying is that stop gambling when you're addicted.

It's not about having the lack of time that causes you to lose so much on these gambling sessions, it's the fact that you're making gambling a way bigger part of your life than what it should be. The fact that you're consistently allocating time and budget for it (and quite poorly I must say since you're losing funds which I would presume is supposed to go for your daily expenses) to the point that you're losing both sleep and money because of it is a telltale sign that you're already addicted to it, you're just one bad game away from really digging a deeper grave.

So in that regard, and this goes for everyone out there who's looking to gamble, make it a point to not make gambling any bigger than an alternative hobby you could take when the others just couldn't cut it for you, don't spend so much time and money on a rendezvous that is literally created to profit off of other people's misery and misfortune. Be more intelligent and be sensible, gambling is gambling, it's not a way of life.
it should never control you. I've witnessed how chasing that high can derail lives.

The key is control. Gambling's built for the house to win long-term. Thats just the way it is. You put your rent money on a bet, hoping to get rich? Thats a losing strategy, and frankly, not very smart.

Being smart means setting limits. Have some fun, sure, but within reason. Keep it as a hobby, one you can afford. Think about it -  if gambling's running your life, dictating your decisions, then you're not in charge anymore. And thats the worst deal you could make.

Remember, the thrill's great, but it shouldnt come at the cost of your well-being, your family, your future. I know a lot, I've seen people fall hard because of this. Take it from someone who values winning the right way - gamble responsibly, or the only person you'll be hurting is yourself.

I've been really thinking about this one lately, and I am very frustrated. I can win some for a day if I have the time, like a lot of time, maybe half a day, but you know you have things to do like go to work, go with your friends and loved ones, and of course for yourself too, like going out, watching movies, or maybe playing games. You don't want to give up those things just for gambling, right? And also, of course, when it is nighttime, you will become frustrated because you are not making any progress on your gambling funds, and you will be eager to win more and end up losing that night.

Thanks for the advice, I think I need to made some changes on this plan of mine to work.

Out of curiosity, what kind of games do you usually play, in which you spend most of your day in? Perhaps, Dices, plinko or some similar game?
I believe if you want to try and improve your time management, you should not focus in casino games but rather go for betting. In betting (unlike with casino games) you do not need to be 100% focus on you session so you can get profit, it requires less time, but you would.need to have your phone always with you and have internet connection, so you can follow the matches through social media and also catch out your money before the end of the matches, if you feel it would be convenient for your bankroll.

In the end, the first step towards improving our life, is admitting there is something we wish to change for the better. You already took that step, now all it is left is to work on it. Good luck and hopefully your future sessions will be profitable and full of excitement.  Smiley

This must be applied because by getting used to diverting our thoughts when we experience defeat it will help us from feeling emotional and other things. Most gamblers always get caught up when they start to get emotional from their defeat so they continue to play excessively just to chase their defeat, ultimately making them uncontrollably lose a lot of money and lose a lot of money. losing big in just a moment, many cases like that eventually become gambling addiction which we know is a disease that is difficult to cure.

I also often divert myself when I experience defeat, usually going out for a while with my wife and children, playing bowling or just fishing, at least getting rid of the thought and pressure of playing gambling again, enjoying what we do, the point is don't take gambling too seriously because if it's too serious it won't work. it will never be good in the end, fortunately I also always think that gambling is just for fun so there is not much hope of winning and getting money, if you lose, just go somewhere fun. Not all the fun is in gambling. There are lots of things to visit out there.  Grin

Accepting a gambling issue is tough. It's like facing your worst fear knowing only you can hurt yourself. Unfortunately, the house always wins when people chase that high. Despite it, they wager everything in hopes that this time will be different.

The key is moderation, which you mentioned. Gambling may be fun; a little money, a little risk, exhilaration.  Finding that stimulating, non-destructive balance is key.

What's wrong with gambling is how it dominates. If losing is inconceivable and a person can't walk away, addiction begins. However, self-awareness and discipline help you fight back. You should enjoy the game without being consumed by it. Maintain control and limits. You play the game without being played.

Well said.
Discipline solves the problem.  As you have rightly said, the main defense should be, not allowing yourself to be dominated by gambling. When dominance kicks in you become a slave to it leading to addiction, over-gambling, and also risking much without any set rules or control.

So the earlier we build our system to fight against all this, then only can we play the game and not be played, thus helping us take into consideration other areas of our life. Without our system surely we will be consume by the system.
Of course, we have to get used to it from the start by playing with full awareness, because this is very important so that we don't get carried away by the atmosphere of gambling games which makes it easier for us to experience defeat, and even lose everything. And playing with full awareness, we will have no difficulty controlling ourselves and will act carefully and considerately when we want to make decisions.
It's not easy, but you have to get used to it for the good of the gambler. And the issue of playing time is also very important, and play when we have free time with a very good overall condition. Because with this we can enjoy the game and play relaxedly without any ambition and emotions which will prevent us from feeling greedy and losing consciousness which will lead to many defeats.

From a very wide view of things, I think gambling should be done as something that is purely based on stress free  kind of activity or maybe you are bored and wants to get some action then I think some different forms of gambling got you covered although for some person the excited get to their head and they fail to manage themselves properly and before you know it they end up regretting their whole session because they can end up chasing after loses that are long gone.
Yes, gambling is just to enjoy the fun, so gambling must be played when you have free time without being related to other activities and main work, if we follow these instructions then emotions and self-control can be controlled without gambling greed and of course not targeting gambling games to recover losses. if you aim to make a profit to get additional income then they are not ready to accept defeat, so the same loss will always occur in gambling sessions, they will never enjoy gambling games because they ignore the fact that gambling has a high chance of losing, because no matter how much money they prepare To bet, you have a small chance of getting a high win and a high risk that you will lose half or even all of your betting funds. So gamble responsibly and set the lowest allocation of funds for gambling.

            -     Gambling should be considered just for fun and should not be thought of as a job. As for me, I only play when I have a free day and need to have fun.

Well, as much as I agree with you, I would also say that sometimes, we can't deny the fact like a thing or two could come up that could make us to promptly visit a casino in other not to miss the opportunity, for example, maybe a friend discovers an ongoing game, what some of us term as a sure bet, and decided to call you up to take part in the bet for an opportunity to win some really good amount of money depending on how much you were able to bet.

When I was still actively playing lotto here in my country, I can remember alot of times I has to take excuse or permission from my working place to quickly go out and place a bet on some lotto numbers that was sent to me by a friend, back then, we had a network of individuals who we often referred to as insiders, they 90 percent of the time know what numbers will play because they worked closely with the lotto officials, all they usually do is, secretly pass those numbers across to us and we bet big money on them, and after we win and claim the money, we give them their cut, usually around 25 to 30 percent of the profit made.

Things like this can still come in-between a gambler and their other daily activities, most especially if the gambler is a seriously committed gambler, so, in essence, only playing gambling when totally free all depends on the type of gamble a person is, a hardcore gambler will definitely suspend everything he or she is doing to play gambling when ever an opportunity appears in the market.
Well that's a good enough reason to play lottery when you have actual changes for winning, even though it would be by cheating. But may i ask what country this was and do you recon it's still happening? I got impression that this was rather long time ago.

At in here there are so many layers of security and transparency and changes to audit the lotteries, that it would be highly improbable someone could cheat in it. It would require so many people being in that same scam that profits for it wouldn't be worth the risk of getting caught.

Even before internet, the security was tight for the both machine and there are tv cameras watching the lottery live with a police standing next to the machine Smiley. Which was quite over the top but send a signal of integrity of the raffle. In here trust on police is quite high because of the transparency and regulatory oversight and weekly lottery with a police was similar to elections, which are considered almost holy ceremony, as we are so proud of the integrity of the whole event.

It is an addiction. You are also losing which is another sign that it is an addiction. If you have stopped this habit, it will be good. If you do not stop, it may later has side effect on your health and which you will not like. I have this habit before but I have also stopped since few years ago. If you do not have time to gamble, do not gamble. If you want to gamble, gamble with little amount of money.

People fail to realise that they are slowly getting addicted to gambling, when once something has started to be a priority to you and you give it so much time even at the expense of other important stuff, you should check yourself. Yeah and more over in your case you even losing to such a habit and you didn't know you were slowly getting addicted to gambling.

Gamble with what you can afford to lose and never spend much time on it, like it's been month now since I last opened my sporty app and that's because I busy with other things or I'm not ready for it yet and that's a sign that I'm still in control.

Yes this is the reason why gambling addiction can come consciously or unconsciously but most gamblers do not realize that they have entered the addiction phase and even sometimes they also do not want to admit that they are addicted when someone asks. All this happens because they are wrong or too excessive in terms of treating gambling activities, usually they always prioritize gambling based on expectations such as wanting to win so that when they lose they are unable to accept the defeat and this is a situation where they will enter the phase of pursuing recovery which however you can never pursue because the possibility of defeat will always lurk every time you gamble.

In the end yes you enter the addiction phase without realizing it, and as you said that the best approach in the long run to gambling is to have involvement without overdoing it, such as gambling with a small budget amount along with limiting your gambling time, it is always about these two things that are key because usually the disease of most gamblers is when they are unable to accept defeat which in turn gambles impulsively which will lead them to bad effects.

Indeed, it would be better for those who are very tired and have experienced many losses at gambling. It would be better for them to stop gambling, because if we continue gambling, of course this will make us continue to experience losses which will result in us not being able to meet our own needs.

All gamblers are prone to loss, so quitting would not be the best idea, because such person may still return  to gambling with that same mindset of experiencing only wining or more wining. Besides if you gamble with small stakes you wouldn't even feel the impact of losing your money, it is advised that a gambler limits his stakes and spend less time gambling else he might get addicted and even loss some of his property because of gambling. But when you have discipline all you need is to restructure your gambling schedule and stake, if possible keep a specific amount to be used for gambling, and never try to exceed that amount.

There is nothing certain in gambling, except defeat, because losing in gambling is a certainty while winning is only a possibility. and this is regardless of how much we do in the analysis and predictions we make, or the mastery of the game we have. And good self-control, as well as implementing limits on the money we spend gambling, is the main key to maintaining and maintaining responsible gambling. Including the application of limits on the time we spend gambling.

When playing gambling, we should be the ones who have full control over the gambling we do, not the other way around where we are the ones who are controlled by the gambling activity, so that we don't know and are able to decide when to play and when to end it. However, quite a few people are lulled by gambling, where they gamble and place bets non-stop, even worse when the money has run out, instead of stopping for a moment from gambling activities and starting to introspect themselves, they are still trying to find out how they can continue. carrying out and continuing gambling activities, even if it means taking out a loan or selling personal items.

Fail to realize that they are getting addicted to gambling is something that many gamblers face because gambling can tempts them easily and makes them playing gambling more and more. They even doesn't realize that they already used more money to satisfying themselves from playing gambling because they wants to gets more pleasure from gambling.

When they can realize that playing gambling can makes them losing much money, they will prevents that happens and will not spends much money. That will not worth to do while they still have many things to fills for their lives so they must limits their money to playing gambling. If they can't do that, that will a matter of time to see they will lose all of their money and they will becomes addicted to gambling.

Is good you should always take your time to gamble, because what you are doing at first is a risk, so you have to take your time to look at it very well and take signals from other games, use much time to predict before you start, like the casino I don’t really how people do set their strategies and how they look at it, well I have experience loosing fund without making proper plans and putting your working, so there for you have to take your time and don’t gamble during work time to avoid have some challenge and issues
