As a professional gambler and they understanding gambler you are not supposed to discuss anything that relate with gambling in the presence of your children because that's motivate your children or give your children the insight of gambling when they have nothing understand the advantages and the disadvantages of gambling probably gambling is meant for rich people and it is also called entertainment for them but we we massively engage in gambling due to we needed a quick money and we think that the gambling is the shortest way of making money so that is why we don't need to discuss anything that relates to the gambling in the presence of our children

I don’t think just talking about gambling in front of minors would motivate them to take a liking to gambling and start right away. If even, they understand what is being said, I doubt they’ll be motivated to go into gambling just from what someone says.
Gambling isn’t necessarily for the rich people and it’s entertainment for all and not just for the rich. Instead of shying away from the topic, I would think it’s best to be open and clear with minors, telling them what they need to know and understand before they get to the age of being influenced into doing what they should not be doing.

If we talk about which is better about whether we should tell a minor about the dangers of gambling and prohibit them from engaging in such activities or keep the following secret by hiding, and avoiding everything that smells of gambling from their view, in my opinion it is best not to tell them at all about gambling education or the dangers of gambling, Because the context in this problem is a child who is still underage, which cannot be denied that maybe when we tell them about the dangers of gambling then maybe it can arouse their curiosity to find out what gambling is really about so that you prohibit them.

Although the statement is a prohibition and not a motivation, but still, the name of a child they are still very dominated by curiosity in themselves which makes them maybe find out for themselves about what gambling really is.

On the other hand, gambling is basically for everyone and not just for the rich, but one of the reasons why gambling should be avoided from the view of a child is because they have a very unstable mindset which does not yet know what is right and what is wrong, as well as for children under the age of 18 they usually have a high curiosity about something they find or that makes them feel interested, so as much as possible we should avoid anything that smells of gambling from their view regardless of whether they are rich or poor.

Children or kids want to try gambling once they will that thier parents are involve with it or else siblings or neighbors but we parents, we are the guidance so we need to focus our attention to them if they want to gamble in thier young age then we must not let it cause one thing for sure there's a chance that it will lead into addiction cause some young men or woman can not control themselves and they will let themselves involve in gambling and have a big chance that they will become an addict and ones it will happen then that's is a bad thing.

In my childhood, almost everyone played games of some kind: the older generation played chess and dominoes, the middle and younger generations mostly played card games. Having got acquainted with gambling in childhood, it is quite difficult to give them up later on.

I do not see anything wrong with gambling. The main thing in time to realize that you should not put at stake all that you have and treat gambling as entertainment, even if you play for money.

Some successful gamblers started as kids. Gambling with parents and siblings on gambling-related games, with no money. Success in this context is those who can control themselves. And never chase a loss. I think the early experiences of playing with no money, cards like Joker, create the knowledge in them that gambling is not a monetary game alone. Hence, as an adult, the player wouldn't stress himself on making money through games. Instead, he'd want to enjoy the game as it was, as a child. Parents do have fun with kids, naturally, and utilize the moment to teach their children. Sharing methods of enjoying the game. They are games I played as a child and would enjoy as an adult. Yet wouldn't feel comfortable staking money on them, because when I began playing it as a child, money wasn't involved.

That feeling of playing naturally when playing the game still lives in me. I'd prefer staking money on casinos, and still playing naturally to at least enjoy the game. With fewer worries. Because I played games with my loved ones, with no worries about losing. It was all about skills and experience. Accepting defeat as a child helps in dealing with gambling as an adult. The biggest challenge of most gamblers is that they think of gambling as a competition. Between them and the house. It shouldn't be. Gambling is based on luck and experience. And to master this, a player should have been playing gambling-related games as a child, with no money. That is, he never knew money could be staked in such games. Gambling is not bad. Kids should be guided not to stake money as children.

Gambling in front of your children is very unreasonable because it does not add anything positive To Them.children’s brain are like empty Slatea especially within the 4-14 years age bracket And whatever they learn registers directly To their brain.however, gambling in the presence of children does not actually speak Good of you because you are not planning a better future for them rather you are exposing them to be gambling addicts because you are given them the opportunity To turn their lives To Gamblers.

Gambling before your children is very similar To stealing or having sex before them because they will learn more than you And will like To try it with their peer groups in School especially in the Hostels. Try So hard To Create positive impact before your children , teach them How To be investors , Train them on How To trade crypto And hodl some coins for future purposes, And lastly teach them How To be positive Minded in whatever they do.

They really learn fast but I don't think they see it as gambling money as we do unless you tell them that. Any game they play is just fun for them and that's probably how your kid think of it. I once saw a buddy of mine let his son play dice on mobile and he didn't find it alarming. The kid actually got bored.

Social gatherings is where kids probably see more gambling activities when adults play table games as a past time. They would usually put money on the table while some kids would be watching at the back. Many of us here probably grew up in that kind of environment. We learned how to gamble at a young age but still ended up fine.

Yet its not very advisable to let your kids play gambling games, where I live you would see lots of underage children come to charge their phones at the bet shop and not too long some started engaging in football arguments with the adults, and that's how they started gambling, some did fine and only saw it as a means to get some extra cash, others or few got notorious and it became a live long habit.

Don't act the way you don't want your kids to act, they learn quickly, they would copy and even replicate that habit and you woudl never know how it would be for them, so it's better you don't teach them, but still if you could teach them to have self control and view it as fun then you have very little problem.
Parenting is one obligation that requires absolute intentionality and that's why it's advised for adults who are not fully ready to carefully raise their wards not to have kids in other not to birth children that'll become societal nuisances. Kids are known to be very smart in learning and will always put in practice whatever they see an adult do and that's why adults shouldn't do anything that's not ideal for children in the presence of children. Gambling is only meant for adults and not kids so gambling in front of the kids is a way of introducing them to gambling at a very early stage of their life which is very likely to make them want to try what they see their parents do and because they don't know the consequences of gambling without caution, they're certainly end up as gambling addicts.

Overall, yes, it's true that children have a fairly high sense of curiosity, where they are always interested in trying things they haven't tried or things that interest them, but in fact, for example, if you gamble in front of them anywhere via your smartphone in an online casino, if for example you don't show any body movements that can attract their attention then I think they won't be curious about what you are doing, unless for example you are gambling by showing expressions that can attract attention as well as increasing the volume of a betting game being played. while you are playing, it is clear that a child will definitely come up to you and ask what you are actually doing.

Another thing is that in my opinion it is also unlikely for a child to immediately conclude that you are "gambling", because usually they don't have much knowledge, especially about gambling, but yes, if we are talking about preventive measures then it is clearly better never to gamble in in front of your children because the possibility of something bad could happen, the fear is that they will try to find a casino site on the internet according to what they see from the games you play.
Kids are smart, way smarter than we give them credit for. They watch us, they learn from us. Its how they make sense of the world. When we gamble around them, even if we try to be sneaky, they see it. And that sends a message, whether we mean to or not. It tells them gambling's normal, okay, just another fun thing grown-ups do.

Now, some say, "They dont get it anyway, whats the harm?" Wrong. Kids are always figuring things out, and normalizing gambling just sets a bad foundation. Its not just about them fiddling with a slot machine - its about the mindset we create. Do we want kids thinking luck and chance are the way to get ahead, rather than hard work?

Protecting kids isnt just about shielding them, its about showing them the right way. We gamble, they might follow along later. Thats on us. Lets be smart, responsible. Adult stuff stays in the adult world, period.

Yes, a child always easily absorbs whatever they see, sometimes they learn something they see without us realizing it, which is where we find that they already have the ability to do something, therefore this is why parents must always direct a child, because what is The fear is that they will learn something wrong or bad which could have a negative impact on their health or mental health and thoughts. On the other hand, yes, what you say is true, small children may think that whatever we do is normal and permissible, including gambling, but yes, not all children will realize or know that we are gambling.

Even though basically a child doesn't know anything about gambling which makes you think and assume that there is nothing wrong with gambling, it is clear that the damage will not happen immediately, it needs development and without knowing behind the scenes a child is trying to find something which makes them curious about what you do.

As I said above, a child must always be guided, because they will find a lot of positive or negative things that they see in the environment they are in, whether it is in terms of bad or good behavior that they see from the people around them. surroundings (other than parents) or other things, where it is clear that parents are responsible for filtering their vision and directing them to the right mindset and perspective.

There wasn't as much entertainment in my childhood as there is today, so we played card games. At first we played without using money, but when we got older and had the opportunity to have our own pocket money we started playing card games for money. Whether it is good or bad everyone decides for himself, but I think that from that moment I became a gambler and playing without money stopped bringing so much emotion as playing with money. In my opinion, teaching children to gamble is not the best idea, because in any case they will come to the fact that they will play for money. I think it is better to teach children how to multiply money and that you should strive to make your money work for you, not you work for money.

If we would get addicted to what we were doing in childhood, then the world would consist from firefighters, astronauts, bandits, doctors and sellers behind the cashdesk. I was not spoiled by variety of games, toys and entertainment in my childhood either. As well as I played cards, rock-paper-scissors and other games, and from time to time used money to bet. We also had football tournament with money prize hood vs hood. Where teams consist of 5-15 yo kids. I even used to search and collect bottles, to exchange them for money, bought chewing gums and gambled with it (to win more gums and get stickers from it). I was doing the same everything other kids did that time. Thus, somehow there is no big passion to gambling today. I am definitely not interested to make money with.

Again, gambled a lot (if this can be called gambling) when was a kid, low interesting to gambling today. Rather strange, isnt it? Because almost everyone among 50 pages would say that my parents were bad at parenting, and I would have grown into gambling junkie.

I think it's not just about parenting. It's about attitude to finances, which is formed not only by parents, but throughout our lives. In my childhood my parents tried to limit me from gambling for money, but as we can see after a certain time it did not help much.

Also a lot depends on responsibility, which with each passing year becomes more and more. At least if earlier I could spend half of my salary on gambling, now I categorically will not do it.

You should have kids, introduce them to some nice things and activities, and I am sure that you wont have much time and free funds for gambling  Grin That is us our family example. I could have gambled all my money, but instead I prefer to spend money on outside activities. With work I have, I have some funds to spend on gambling. I gamble in front of my kids, but never paid much attention to it. Its is kind of a “fathers hobby”. This hobby does not harm family budget. They dont see that I gamble for money. Their attitute and vision on gambling is - one of fun activities. If they need money, they come to me and we figure out how they can earn them.

We can't ignore the right parenting here, and in your case, whether it yielded or not, your parents tried their best as parents, it is now left to you to yield. In gambling and in life generally, we cannot neglect the importance of parenting, but still, the environment we find ourselves in and the kind of friend we keep matters so well, as they may not allow the effect of good parenting to show. Parenting as we know it is a vast task that many parents err in and I must tell you that it shapes the life and destiny of children so much. It can mould it for the better or for the worse, and if you are sincere, you know that even though you might have been stubborn when your parents were putting you through towards the right path, but later, you changed for a good leave.

This is not because you naturally want to change, but as you get more mature, what your parents had set your mind on as the right path comes ringing in your head indirectly, and this made you choose the right path eventually. And for the conscience playing its part here, you later did the right thing as well. This is a simple trick that helps us to choose between right and wrong even if we do not know why we are avoiding the bad for the good. However, if your parents had done otherwise or had been so bad, you may see the wrongdoing as the right way of life.

Some of the things that makes children grow up with wrong knowledge is because their parents kept away information that they needed to know while growing up because they are afraid that if this children have an idea about what they kept away from them that they may start doing those things without their parents awareness but the best way to make a child stay away from a bad habit is to teach the child the basic necessity they need to know and the consequences that surrounds it If the choose to get involved because when you do that as a parent, you have already given the child the knowledge of the dangers involved so even if they are introduced to those things by others outside it will be difficult for them to take part in it.
Not letting our children know that we are gamblers doesn't mean we should keep them away from knowing about the repercussions if they choose to gamble.
I completely agree with you on this one. If you check very well when children are growing up, it's better to teach them things of life as a parent; it's part of the journey of good parenting. Don't let them learn everything all by themselves, or trying to hide things from them might even push them to the wall.

That's why I always say that even if you don't want to allow your child to gamble due to their age, try as much as you can to teach them the disadvantages of gambling, and they should have a reason why they need to gamble, and making money with gambling should never be part of the reason if they want to succeed.

Given their basis, knowledge helps a lot, even if they see misleading information outside. Because of the relationship you have built with them, they can also share their problems with you for help.
Taking into consideration the things they may be advising is very good, but only in an ideal world do children not see things, in reality children are faced with all kinds of information, if we as parents hide it they will find it somewhere else, So before all this, we must talk to our children about games of chance, that we are people who should not concentrate on playing with them or having them play because that is a game only for those over 18 years of age, that when they reach that age will be able to play and have fun with complete peace of mind, but they must understand that gambling, casinos, when they see them by any means that their brain informs them that they cannot play because their parents told them so, that is a very simple way of Tell him something that a child is still not allowed to do.

Hey gamblers' community, hope you're all doing great.
I wanted to convey my message here that gambling in front of our kids may put adverse effects on their growing minds and they may also take the wrong path and start gambling (either by asking you personally for funds or by stealing it in order to fulfill their gambling cravings).

I'm sharing this because I saw this issue with my kiddo who was once watching me gamble at a website playing blackjack and she started asking me more about the game. Then one day, she wanted to play it herself and asked me if she can go for it and I said "no, it's not your legal age to go for such games". So, it's better to keep our kiddos away from gambling and let them focus on their studies, else it'd actually ruin everything for the whole family if the kid takes the wrong path.

Trying to hide your gambling from children is like trying to keep a cat in a bag, it’s not easy, and they’re likely to find out. If you’re gambling and your child sees it, it’s better to explain the situation appropriately. You can tell them that it’s an adult activity that involves risks, including money, and it’s not suitable for children. This way, children will understand that it’s not merely a fun game, but something that requires responsibility and maturity. Also, a well-informed child is better equipped to make wise decisions in the future. Transparency is usually more beneficial than secrecy, which could lead to misunderstandings or increased curiosity about prohibited activities.
It makes sense, but it would be better if our children didn't know anything about our gambling activities and there was no suspicion that made our children curious. I mean, if we like to gamble, as much as possible don't do it when we're with children. Because it will make him curious even if it is not done transparently because the child will feel suspicious, and in my opinion this is much better. Even though you want to tell about your gambling activities, you also have to know at what age you will tell about your gambling activities and if the child is still too young, it is best to keep it a secret well and without suspicion until your child is old enough to know about it and the advice.

Most children will imitate what their parents do and if we don't want our children to imitate these gambling habits, of course we shouldn't gamble in front of them because if they imitate, of course this will cause us difficulties because they will imitate the habits. Gambling is of course very bad because they cannot differentiate between good things to do and how they can manage the gambling they do.

I agree with you. Gambling in front of children will make them try to imitate us. He will be curious and will try various kinds of gambling that we have played in front of the children. This is a big problem because children have the potential to become very addicted to gambling. We gamble because it is our choice and we already know and are ready for the risks. This will enable us to become wise gamblers. Children don't necessarily like gambling and they can't regulate their emotions when gambling like adults. Therefore try to show something positive in front of our children. I will even try to hide my gambling hobby in front of my children.
If a child is growing up there are always very cautious of their environment and during some stages what they do is just learn and equip themselves and whatever is practice in front of them is actually what they feel or know that is right and that's why gambling shouldn't be a thing that the child should witness especially in some certain age because they might grow up with the thought that this is actually normal thing and even become more involved in it than their parents maybe because they started at an early age.

Well said Mate.
The first place of learning is the Home. But often some Parents don't teach there ward the core values and characters they need to portrait to be a better personality.  School won't teach your ward everything, the connection, and information you pass to your ward will help safeguard them from the venom of the society.

Not gambling in front of your children isn't enough to prevent them from  not being gamblers in the nearest time, the orientation you give them is what will safeguard them.  Giving them reasons why this habit is negative and destructive and positive habits they should form goes a long way. Preaching the essence of discipline will keep them on track and avoid those distractions.

The guidelines provided and the connection you have with your kids will also make them seek help and advice from you without being afraid of refusal or blame.

Gambling in front of our children is unrealistic and could affect the emotional growth of the child. Starting as a child to watch a father gamble is a threat to the child's future because he'd flashback to the days he watched his dad gamble. Hence, doing it wouldn't seem to him as a new thing. Making him gamble as a pro, despite being a newbie. Which attitude, could lead him to problem gambling as he never had prior training on ways to gamble responsibly. Parents who make the mistake of playing online games in their kid's presence are risking the future financial performance of the child.

Although it seems hard to always escape the presence of children whenever we gamble, there are other quiet moments when kids don't disturb their parents.

Such times could be utilized for gambling, and the gambler will also have a routine for gambling. Instead of gambling recklessly, not mind if his kids are presently watching or not. These things affect the society too, not just the kids at home. He could influence his friends in school, and the problem spread across a wider range of kids in the neighborhood. They could begin trying it out with their gadget during their free time. Parents should be careful with the behavior around kids, as they're fast learners, especially with their parents.

It is natural that one gambler will be inspired by another. Someone may be attracted to gambling by a family member or by friends, but those who are relatively young can always be attracted by someone close to them. If children can infer something about their parents' gambling, then at some point they will be interested in doing so themselves. That is why a parent or the one who manages the family must be alert. In no way should the younger members of the family be attracted to gambling. Especially until they can fix their mistakes on their own. If a gambler gets involved in gambling before he is fit, he is sure to get addicted quickly. Today's children are so clever that it is not possible for all parents to control them. That's why every parent should be more careful.
