Yes, it can be done for those who "know and realize" about the possible risks in gambling that can never be completely avoided, and you cannot instantly conclude that they "will not do" some things that are prohibited because not all of them know about what they can and cannot do in gambling, especially when they are in certain situations, because for someone who does not have the right and proper understanding, it is clear that they will have a different reaction, especially when they are in a losing situation where emotions will dominate and chasing defeat becomes one of their ninja ways to pursue a recovery phase that is actually impossible to realize.

Yes, what you described above are bad habits and behaviors that someone who is addicted to gambling has, starting from having high self-confidence, putting hope in winning and all of that leads to the act of treating gambling excessively which in the end will clearly cause many new problems that are difficult to solve and maybe they will only feel regret if they really realize that what they have done so far is wrong in treating gambling, but sometimes there are also those who do not realize at all and instead continue to act more aggressively.
Unfortunately, not many people know and realize about the risks in gambling because many of them are still playing gambling excessively and without trying to control their gambling activity. It makes them spending much money and when their emotional becomes high, they forget to control themselves and that makes them playing gambling rushing because they want to win the games. When their desire to win becomes bigger, they will not thinks about how much money they will spends their money because in their minds, they will only thinks about the winning and not thinks about the losing. They will not thinks about fear and anxiety with the losing of playing gambling because they thinks that when they win, they will get much money. But that's not guarantee they can win many times.

Someone can prevent the bad habits and behaviors to prevent the addiction to gambling so they don't have to face many problems like what other people had. They don't have a high hope in winning in gambling because they thinks that winning gambling is difficult and not many people can do that. Instead spends much money, they will prevent the money that will be used to playing gambling and just playing gambling moderately and always used limitations. They don't want to face many problems in gambling because that can caused them gets addicted to gambling and will treat gambling as it should be.

Your experience will help you out to control your emotions. It is important that when you gamble, you still have the control to your emotion because if not, worse things will come to you as you gamble.

You'll never know how much you'll be able to bet and lose when you're not on your right mind and you're out of control of your emotion. With that, too many gamblers fall to their own emotions because it seems unreasonable for them to control it when they can't think correctly.
Emotions is as much a bad energy to trading as it is to gambling. It’s the one means to cloud your judgement and directs your thoughts towards not making a clear decision based on the available statistics but rather, take drastic steps that would include betting on high risk stake events. This is basically based on you having to chase the money, the losses you’ve made and not making any careful consideration.

One needs to be clear in mind and thoughts to be able to take clear and precise decision based on available statistics. The statistics points the way and backed by a thought you have on the game.

What you say is very true, what happened is that the statistics, like none other, are not very favorable numbers for us as players, they are always against us, it is very difficult for those who go outside the statistics to be able to win in a casino, which is the most You can have the opportunity to win in sports betting, of course in my very personal opinion, when we are in the casino sometimes we do not enter with our thoughts clear, because we are always thinking about what has happened to us at work, in things What we have to do, our obligations and that is something that can be harmful when it comes to playing, what we must do is have our mind willing to play without thinking too much, just having fun, without needing to do other things or having our collapsed mind.

For us, playing in a casino is better to do things well, to have ease, without ties from daily life, as you say, it is the best, to be clear, to have a relaxed mind, only willing to play and win, obviously accepting the designs of the game, yes. It is a win or a loss to assume.

Gambling is one game that can easily influence someone's way of thinking and that's why it's very unsafe to make decisions when a gambler is betting. I've seen a lot of people who made decisions while betting and I can say that majority of them got their decisions wrong while others were just fortunate enough to get huge winnings through their own decisions. When a gambler is making a decision during gambling, he's very likely to get it wrong because his emotions will not allow him to be logical enough to get his decisions right.
For example, when a gambler is winning big in gambling, he'll very likely to be overwhelmed by the effects of his win thereby thinking that every bet he stakes at that moment is definitely going to get him huge wins which at the end, it doesn't usually happen that way.  Also when he's losing his money, he'll make decisions with the sole aim of getting back his losses which usually do not end as planned
Emotions can indeed cloud judgment and lead to irrational decision-making, especially when influenced by big win or heavy loss. During moments of winning streaks, gamblers may feel themself with confidence and optimism that lead them to overestimate their chances of winning bet. This phenomenon, known as the "hot hand fallacy," can result in reckless decision-making and lead to losses when luck eventually turns.

During losses, gamblers may become desperate to recoup their losses and resort to risky approaches in an attempt to reverse their fortunes. This behavior, often referred to as "chasing losses," can exacerbate financial losses and further compromise rational decision-making. Gamblers have to maintain a level-headed approach to help them mitigate the detrimental effects of impulsive decision-making. Gamblers need to make regulations for themself to manage their emotions effectively, such as setting limits on betting or taking breaks to cool off. It can contribute to a safer and more enjoyable gambling experience.

Fear and Anxiety

This is one of the main reasons on why people would really be having that kind of different approach on things on the time that they would really be able to feel up these emotions on which
this could really be the main reason on why they would really be becoming that impulsive. Decisions made would be broken and your mind would be stirred up
which causing those kind of alterations neither with your selection and with your plans or whatsoever in between.

This is why on the time that you would be making some betting then decisions should be something be fixed and cant be altered.

Adrenaline surges fueled by wins and the sting of frustration after losses can easily hijack our decision-making.  Imagine a gambler on a winning streak, feeling invincible, convinced that luck is a permanent companion.  This "extraordinary euphoria" can lead to reckless decisions, like "going all in" and losing everything previously gained.

Losses, especially consecutive ones, are equally detrimental.  The urge for "revenge betting," fueled by frustration, can be a recipe for disaster.  Think of a boxer, blinded by rage after a knockdown, throwing wild punches instead of employing strategic defense.

Gambling is not a game of chance alone; it's a battle between logic and emotion.  Successful gamblers understand this.  They set limits, walk away after losses, and avoid the allure of "revenge bets."

Someone will never be able to make the right decision if they cannot control their emotions and they will continue to bet not based on the analysis they have made and it is very unlikely that they will be able to make the right decision on the bets they play, so it is important for us in bettors can analyze well so as not to make decisions that are detrimental to us in betting. Yes, of course we have to have clear thinking in order to make profitable decisions in betting because if we cannot analyze good match statistics of course it will be difficult for us to win bets.
Clear thinking is definitely crucial in making excellent decisions, both in betting and in life in general. Emotional decision-making can lead to rash and foolish decisions, thus it's critical to strive to remain objective and logical when examining data. That said, I understand how tough it can be to remain cool and focused when money is on the line.
One method that can be beneficial is to establish a specified betting budget and stick to it, regardless of how the betting session goes. This can assist you avoid making emotional decisions based on greed or dissatisfaction.
For example, a bettor may opt to spend only $50 on bets over a specific period and then cease betting once that amount is depleted. This can assist you avoid chasing losses or placing rash wagers when things aren't going well.

If we check well we will see that majority of the problems most gamblers are facing is as a result of lack of emotional control either before or after a gambling session. Our state of mind when gambling matters a lot , a person can out of greed engage in games and stake amounts that are way too much for him and if  luck is not on his side and he fails, he will blame it on gambling. Our emotions can also come to play in the form of fear where a gambler out of fear will avoid games that would have ended well for him or he would make wrong choices just because he lacks the confidence  and concentration to gamble.  Even after gambling,  a gambler can squander all his money out of the excitement of winning or even hurt himself or people around if he loses.

Lack of emotional control has caused more harm than good, therefore anyone who calls himself a gambler must not attach hard feelings whenever gambling is involved

Experience in gambling doesn't guarantee immunity to the powerful grip of emotions. Imagine a seasoned gambler, someone who's seen it all, yet still susceptible to the irrationality that can cloud judgment during a losing streak.

Emotions are like a switch that can flip our decision-making process on its head.  You're absolutely right:  winning breeds a sense of confidence, leading to calmer, more calculated choices.  But losing can trigger a cascade of emotions – frustration, desperation, a burning desire to recoup losses.  This is where even the most experienced gamblers can fall victim to the "fog of loss."

Experience can be a valuable tool, but it's not a foolproof shield against emotions.  The most successful gamblers recognize this vulnerability.  They set limits, knowing when to walk away before emotions take control.
There are tons of factors on which it could affect out that earlier plans or things or limits that you do have in mind on which it could really be flipped out once you do able to experience
those things specially when emotions do really kicks in on which decisions would really been entirely be changed up in a snap if you arent that good when it comes to your emotion handling.
then those decisions been made up or would be tending to do wouldnt really be something that can be viable or simply you cant really be able to think up well.
Set limits might that very basic to say or something that would be so simple to put up into someones thoughts or mind but on the time that you are on such condition or situation
then this is something that you wouldnt really be able to control up yourself or something that a very challenging thing to be done.

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?

emotions can hardly be regulated but they can be managed, because when you bet the first thing that you will feel is excitement before any other thing will come when the game seems not to be favoring you. betting and everything about it is driven by emotion, and that is while the result of a gambler's outcome is from the mind. if you can leave some things the way they are then you are gradually escaping from the captivity of gambling.

I think that would be very important. Wise gamblers are those who can regulate their emotions while gambling. We are not robots who can play without emotion. But we must be able to regulate our emotions so that attitudes such as overconfidence, greed and FOMO can be controlled well so that you will not experience losses and become addicted to gambling. I think what we are talking about here is about reducing the impact of gambling addiction caused by us not being able to regulate our emotions. One way is that you can make several rules that you must obey. That will minimize your emotions controlling your betting.

And if you can manage your emotions you have to keep yourself busy there simple applicable measures that can be taken in place to keep your emotions safe and also not to get greedy because the moment you become greedy you will get addicted because that is where addictions come from when you can no longer control your thirst over gambling always. and a lot of people are always over confident always sure that you will win. that is why I said gambling always depends on how the mindset is managed. if you are addicted you will experience more losses than wins it is something I am very sure that it happens this way.

The are no ways to regulate it but you can control it through calmness toward your  decision making, right decisions  could be made from this  and so as well a wrong( remember future events )
Not all are future events though, some require an intellectual  thinking skill and there's no way you aren't  considering  emotions  with it

The underline words are conflicting, claiming that there is no way to regulate (regulate means control) then offering a method to control the emotions simply nullifies the point of the statement.  But in sports betting it isn't an intellectual thinking that is needed, it is the analysis that is much required in order to come out with a higher chance of winning decisions.  An analysis relies on facts and breaking down the capability of the team and their possible advantage and disadvantage.  this needs no emotion to weigh the differences precisely.
My bad the perfect was completely omitted
The are no perfect ways to regulate it but you can control it through calmness ... this is an evidence  that a word could change the meaning of an entire  sentence.

Not entirely true.  In terms of our favorite team competing, it is obvious that we wanted to  bet on our favorite team but knowing the boundaries of being a fan and risking money to earn more money can enable us to control our emotion and not betting on our favorite team if we analyzed that our favorite team will not win.  Being knowledgeable over the available information can help us control our emotion and let it not affect our judgement. Betting based on analysis and information is very different than betting based on emotion.

Emotions play an important role in influencing your betting decision-making process. Being aware of the impact of our moods and actively working to regulate them can dramatically improve our choices. By avoiding rash decisions driven by emotional highs and lows, guarding against overconfidence bias, and finding a balance between caution and risk, we can enhance our chances of success in  betting.

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?

There no way emotions  won't  overcloud your judgement,  your ability to make decision in betting  is mostly triggered by what you feel toward outcome of an event and you picking to your affirmative  level remains a guess as its  always a future event .

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?
The first aspect of regulating your emotions is to stake responsibly. When you overstake, your emotions can get the better of you while playing games and you make wrong decisions.

You should also take the safe decisions at all times, especially with cashouts. Many players try to take as much money as they can and refuse to cashout even when they get a good deal. I recommend to take that deal as the outcomes are not guaranteed.

I think playing responsible is the best decision one can take while playing gambling, this will help in regulating lose in gambling.  What usually brings emotions in gambling is when people play excessively with over confidence then emotion comes in but one who plays responsible I don't think think it will develop any emotions.  Playing responsible helps people to play with amount that they can afford to lose and if eventually they lose, I don't think it will result to any emotions.  When you understand to play responsible I don't think you will have problems in gambling,  that is why the gambling companies always advice their customers to play responsible.
Whether they lose or win, gamblers always become too emotional all the time. Should we take it as a big problem? Well, that is right because this will lead to making wrong decisions that even worsen the situation, it is just like the creator of another problem. Yes, gambling responsibly will help a lot but to be honest, this won't be easy as we say. Let us say casinos are promoting this Gambling Responsibly, unfortunately, only a few gamblers got into such a thing while the majority remains irresponsible. But who benefits the most? That is the casino and any gambling platforms.
This can't be solve with that thing and the casino is never held liable for our actions, we do it by ourselves.

That's right, as you said that if gamblers know how to react when something happens to them in gambling then obviously they shouldn't experience a significant amount of losses, but the reality is not like that which is the opposite that most gamblers experience an increase in the number of losses and that means they have the wrong reaction in response to losing in gambling which ultimately leads to a larger number of losses.

Having excessive confidence in gambling can certainly make a person do more crazy actions, I am sure that they are actually unable to take responsibility for their actions when the final result does not match their expectations which means that having high confidence in winning will only make you end up with regret and disappointment along with a worse situation which means that your number of losses is even greater. On the other hand, this is a typical gambler who comes with the intention and purpose to earn so they bring high confidence because they are based on the hope of winning, while responsible gamblers are those who prioritize or prioritize risk management so as you said that all they think about is stopping as soon as possible without thinking about the recovery phase.
They will prevent the losses not to become bigger as they knows that will impact to their money amount. They can response as it should be if they lose on the gambling games and never trying to recover their losses. They will knows what they must do and what to react when something happens to them while they playing gambling games. They will have a chance to hold themselves for not makes their emotional becomes higher when they losses.

Excessive confidence in gambling is just makes them forget about how to stop playing gambling because they will be sure that they still have a chance to win. But that doesn't seems like as they expect because when they lose, they will difficult to win and that can increase their losses. If that happens, many gamblers can't take responsibility for their actions because they are not thinks that can happens to them. But after seeing what happens to them, they realizes that they are now in a trouble and difficult to solve if they don't have a strong intentions to solve the problems. They will regrets of what happens to them but some gamblers will not feel too regrets as they can repeat the mistake in the other days. That's why we must be responsible gamblers to prevents many problems that can occurs to us while we playing gambling because that can gives worst situations that we never imagine.

It is important to pay attention to emotions, because they can cause you to abandon your strategy. For example, you see some remarkable pattern in the game and decide to act a little more aggressively. As a result, fear paralyzes you and you miss a great opportunity. Conversely, you made a good profit, it’s time to withdraw it and enjoy the victory, but instead greed awakens in you, which forces you to make more and more random bets until you completely lose your bankroll. You may also feel indecisive in situations where you need to act quickly and responsibly. Or you may become frivolous when you should be serious.

Emotion : When we experience intense emotions, such as excitement or disappointment, our decision-making abilities tend to be impaired. These emotional highs and lows can cloud our judgment and lead us to make impulsive or irrational choices.

Emotions are usually the most crucial factor influencing a gambler's decision making. When gamblers are too happy or too sad, whether because of winning or losing, usually they will make the wrong decision and that can cause them to lose in subsequent gambling, because they are too emotional and ignore their logic. That's why it's important for gamblers to be able to control their emotions and get used to taking breaks when they feel too emotional, so that their emotions will not influence their decision making.

I never understood how keeping emotions in check while betting changes anything. Your odds of winning doesn't change no matter how much you control your emotion. Again the truth is, trying to completely "regulate" our emotions is something impossible to do. It's just not how we're wired. We're human and all those highs and lows is what makes as a human. Instead of trying to suppress what you feel (which can feel pretty unnatural and will eventually cause you to take more bad "decisions"), the key might be to acknowledge those emotions and then based on those emotions you play your game. You feel frustrated? I think it is time to take a break and play later. You feel like you are going to win, why not try your luck? Bet for the thrill. Consider gambling as paying for entertainment rather than a  way to make bank. Treat any profits as a sweet bonus that will let you play more. Set limits and you are good to go!
Honestly, I have to say that you are right, though you seem to understand the discussion from a wrong context, putting emotion in check that is being discussed about is not that it increases one's chances of winning, for for course, winning still largely depends on how lucky the gambler is regardless of knowledge and skill levels, putting emotions in check helps the gambler not to over gamble, like playing when he or she should be taking a break.

It's just like losing a huge sum of money, and instead of the gambler to take a break and allow him or herself heal from the pain and regret of that loss, he or she engages him or herself in what is called revenge gambling, trying at all cost to win back the money he or she has lost, and you will agree with me that it's only a very few gamblers who engage in this type of gambling and later came out successfully, the majority always end up losing even more money than they previously lost, which most of the time lead to a very frustrating situations and even suicidal thoughts for some.
