More than working without emotions i think we need a clear goal with gambling. Let's say you make a $100 deposit and your goal is to get $250, if you reach that goal then you can walk away, if you don't reach that goal and you lose it all you can call it a day and try later. And when you have a clear goal things like depo $100 to go up to $1000 and then lose it all, will never happen.

This way you will not feel bad if you lose, and you will have the chance to walk away with money.
As opposed to betting furiously without a cash limit in mind, without clear thought process and without time discipline too.
Unless someone is just a very lazy person and would rather be on their phone while having visited every possible apps and made predictions on every possible match to be played, without thinking of other real life chores and responsibilities, then such a one has a poor decision making habit and should be told so, or should be reminded of their responsibilities inorder to help them stay disciplined while making bets and in consideration of their emotional state, they should know when to call it quits or taught how to mostly while betting, so as to keep the balance of real life in check.

Humans must always feel their emotional part, whether fear, anxiety and a host of others. its what makes them mortal. It requires a lot of emotional training to master your emotions and not be a slave to it. Take it or leave it, our emotions plays a vital role in the decisions we make during gambling. Its up to the individual to entertain the emotional interference or use a sane mind and a disciplined approach to engage in gambling or allow your emotions to propel you in a direction that would possibly mean serious trouble for you and land you in unnecessary pressure especially when you are having a losing streak.

I really think that when you've a more relaxed and focused mind in gambling, you tend to make better decisions than when you are under some sort of pressure either from the urge to recover from your losses, or the fear of losing you immediate wins back to the casino. I believe the remedy to all these things is not expecting anything from the casinos and having pure fun while gambling. Truth be told, these emotions surges from the expectant mindset. When you delve into gambling with the mindset of achieving something, its easy for your emotions to spring up and influence greatly your activities.

Emotions usually erupt when a gambler is losing and they wanna chase that loss quickly by betting faster and quickly gain them back. You will notice this yourself, especially in playing luck-based games such as Dice. The dice game is the best example of where a user can make the quickest decision to just bet the remaining amount in the account in one bet.

How to control emotion is I guess you just have to be cool.  It's hard to regulate it. Just like when you are in the futures market and you are seeing your money draining and you wanna change your long position to a short position as quickly as possible. Thats how quickly your emotions go crazy.

Emotion can manipulate our suppose decision. Therefore, there is a relationship between experience and emotion because such level of experience is suppose to be a master to the emotional feeling and to this aspect it is not every one even the experienced can control their emotions.

What I know about emotion is that it is very active and influencing when you are losing in gambling. Most gamblers who have not been able to control their emotion are those that are on the losing side because they will be trying to get back their loses and so they would lose balance of their emotion. The mode changes when you are losing but if you are winning you could take normal or better decisions. You are not likely to have a better decision when you are losing in your game but can better decide when you get to the winning level.

I have witnessed the negative influence of emotion in the visual game bet. This is an instant gambling where gamblers either win or lose and a gambler can start with better decision when winning and as soon as he starts to lose then he becomes uncertain about his picks because he has allowed his emotion to have control over him. Hence, the solution is to give up at any point that you realized your loses have made you indecisive. Go out and cool your head.

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?

Most gamblers suffer from emotional instability especially if they place too much importance on gambling or gamble more than they can afford to lose. Yeah, there will always be fear and anxiety because nobody wants to lose even a cent in gambling, but this can be reduced if you see gambling as a source of entertainment. My anxiety will turn to joy if I win and it will also bring a brief feeling of regret or disappointment if I lose. Gambling outcomes cannot be predicted, hence being overconfident that your stake will play is highly wrong. Having a gambling budget will be a simple strategy to handle loss chasing and over-gambling.

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?

You are very correct mate. All these points listed above plays a vital role when it comes to gambling. Most times we tend to over look the fact that gambling and winning is by chance and loss is inevitable. When we play we should take possible calculations and estimate our odds or chance of winning. Most people tend to mistake victory for winnings in gambling which lucks plays a role in both. When we win a game, it's not because we were too good or are experts that's made it play through. If luck doesn't play it's part, you may end up losing.

Also being too confident after a recent winning will lead us to our loss. After a win, we should settle down and calculate what we had really done, to make the wins possible. This way we will be able play our next game more efficiently if luck is still on our side. Don't let your emotions come in when you play to avoid even further losses.

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?
It is easy to control your emotion while bettingbif you are disciplined and gambling responsibly. What you just need to do is to have a gambling budget and do not let it be more than 1 to 5% of your weekly or monthly income. Assuming you are earning $500 weekly and you are using just 5% to bet which is just $25, that can not affect you financially. But if it will affect you financially, you can go as low as using $5 which is 1% of your income. If you try this, you will see that gambling is good and fun and you will be able to control your emotions. But do not go more than your gambling budget which should be a small amount/percentage from your income which can not affect you financially.

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?
The first aspect of regulating your emotions is to stake responsibly. When you overstake, your emotions can get the better of you while playing games and you make wrong decisions.

You should also take the safe decisions at all times, especially with cashouts. Many players try to take as much money as they can and refuse to cashout even when they get a good deal. I recommend to take that deal as the outcomes are not guaranteed.

The process of controlling emotions has to begin before the gambling session starts. If you start trying to control your emotions only when you are gambling, it's likely you won't be able to do this in an efficient way. Gambling has to be a planned activity, which you know exactly when you are going to start and when you are going to finish. By following a predetermined itinerary, there will be less room for your emotions taking control over you along your gambling routine.

Emotions get out of control when you don't know what to do towards an unexpected scenario. Then the anxiety, despair, adrenaline, nervousness become stronger than your rational being, and you end doing dumb things, like spending more money than you should, taking loans to chase losses and prejudicing your social or professional performances.

On the other hand, if you know and already defined how much you can afford losing, and what to do in case of losses or winnings, there won't be any reasons for you to get dragged by emotions. Moreover, to develop self knowledge, that is, to know yourself, to know what bothers you, what triggers negative and impulsive emotions on you, will be very helpful to avoid situations where you are exposed to these triggers and even to know what to do in case you inevitably hit such triggers.

Emotion is the worst of all, and that is why as a gambler, you should be able to control your emotions when you are losing or winning. When you are gambling, and you have lost three straight bets, it is better that you quit the game, so that you don't allow your emotions to control you, and you start chasing your losses. When you are being controlled by your emotions, it will bring out the worst result.

Over confidence is very bad as it will lead you to great loss. This is because you will forget that gambling is more of luck than skill, and when you have used a certain pattern to win three straight bets, you will think that it was by your own strategy, and greed will make you to have over confidence in you, and you would prefer to stake with a bigger amount because you believe that you will win the game again, and this time, it will shock you that you will lose it all, because of the too much confidence in you.

A gambler should not be too confidence in himself when he is gambling to avoid great loss, and not betting with th amount that you can afford to lose. Fear, can make you make the wrong decision, and why will you have that fear in you when you want to gamble. It means that you are not using the amount that you can afford to lose, because you want to double your funds.

How do we regulate our emotions while betting and how important is it?

Above stated are correct. Emotions are normal simply because we are all human. Fear, excitement, confidence, regret and every emotion exist because of expectations.  In gambling, you are in fear because something important to you could be lost, and that is money. Same thing goes with excitement of getting something in return, from winning a game. You could be confident of things if you know you are in right assumption. Regrets take place once all these things that you expect are not met. It will always be your expectations on what you are doing. In gambling, what intensifies those expectations? Money. Money creates an enough drive to make things 'big' in particular with the involvememt of emotions in this activity.

Is there a way to control your emotion when you are gambling? Yes, by lowering your expectation and drive will also be lessen. It is normal to expect for profit in gambling and what's not is to put or do anything to get it. Accept how gambling works; existence of the tendency to either lose or win. By doing so, you wouldn't be betting that much. Excitement and confidence of winning will be there as positive emotions but at least the chance of being greedy eventually, will be lessen if you won't expect that much of the profit and loss ratio. Regulating your emotion is simply difficult because it is a normal response with expectancy (stimuli in this discussion). But as I said, you could lessen the intensity of emotions by managing your expectations.

In the world of betting where decisions can increase or decrease your chances of winning, it is important to understand the influence of emotions on the decision-making process. Our mood can greatly influence the choices we make, and this also applies to in-play betting. Whether you're feeling elated, frustrated, or anxious, your emotional state can greatly impact your ability to make rational decisions and ultimately determine the outcome of your bets.

There are many factors:

Emotion : When we experience intense emotions, such as excitement or disappointment, our decision-making abilities tend to be impaired. These emotional highs and lows can cloud our judgment and lead us to make impulsive or irrational choices. For example, after an exciting win, we may feel invincible and tend to place larger bets without carefully considering the odds or analyzing the game situation. Conversely, after a devastating loss, we may be driven by frustration and seek to recoup our losses quickly, leading us to make reckless bets without proper research.

Overconfidence: Emotions can also lead to overconfidence, where we believe that our abilities and knowledge are superior to what they actually are. When we are in a positive emotional state, such as feeling confident or happy, we tend to overestimate our chances of success and underestimate the risks involved. This can lead to excessive betting and poor decision making. For example, if you are on a winning streak and feeling overconfident, you may ignore important information or ignore warning signs that indicate a potential loss.

Fear and Anxiety : can paralyze our decision-making process. When we feel anxious, we may become overly cautious and hesitant, and miss potentially profitable opportunities. For example, if you are worried about losing, you may hesitate to place a bet even when the odds are in your favor. Conversely, fear can also push us to make rash decisions, such as chasing losses or betting on long shots out of desperation.

Emotions play an important role in influencing your betting decision-making process. Being aware of the impact of our moods and actively working to regulate them can dramatically improve our choices. By avoiding rash decisions driven by emotional highs and lows, guarding against overconfidence bias, and finding a balance between caution and risk, we can enhance our chances of success in  betting.
