Nah, though Manny's opponent is undefeated but because of experience to which Manny has more advantage compared to his Opponent then Manny is at advantage. We could also compare their strength, speed and power punches and it clearly also Manny has the advantage.

Age does not defy Manny on his fighting skills from speed and power punches. For sure that Manny's oppponent will going to run. Manny has still the killer instinct.

Manny is a formidable fighter and already beat the likes of marquez and morales during their prime. So Manny can easily finish Thurman in a 12 round Unanimous decision. There will no knockout since both are good fighters and thurman will try to finish 12 round bout by simply running and circling in the ring Cheesy

Pacquiao has indeed started his preparation for his upcoming fight with Thurman as seen in Philippine local news. He started light training and doing some sit-ups so it's all good. Funny though that his trainer, Buboy Fernandez has won this election, as vice-mayor if I'm not mistaken.  Grin. Manny Pacquiao also mentioned that Congress will officially open after his fight with Thurman, so it means that he will have 110% on his training and preparation because this is a big fight for him.
His teams seems to gain popularity and charisma as long they are tied to him. I guess everyone that works on Pacquiao team can have that chance to win in local elections. Well I guess its also a success for Manny whenever he sees his men win the elections.

Since the election and campaign period is over, there will be more excuse for him as he goes full time on training.

Lol at Buboy Fernandez, everyone really wants to be involved in the dirty business, "politics" as they call it lol.
Anyway, I agree that this is gonna be a big fight again for the Pacman, and preparation only shows how he respects his opponent. Thurman is a younger opponent and is hungry for win via K.O, lets see how Manny would handle this kind of fighter.

I'm obvious if manny pacman lose this fight and he decde to retire for buboy fernandez looking for another source of income.
But I believe manny handle this fight to take get win, because not on for the money is also for the pride and the goal to convince meyweather for last remacth decision. Let's wait enjoy the fight...

OK... Pacman will be the overwhelming favorite here... But just for fun.... what will happen if he loses to Thurman?

People would still love pacman, some would say he was robbed of if ever he will be knock out, people will say he is old.
That's how fans react, they are bias, hehe, I am bias too as I am a fan.
Yeah Pacman is older now and he’s spread and skills are not enough for the young and great fighter like Horn and now Thurman but it’s ok since for sure Manny will fight till the end with all his power
Quote
PACMAN loses to Jeff Horn, so it's possible he will loss against Thurman which is better than HORN.

If he loss in Thurman, the for sure he will consider retiring already because Mayweather seems to not accepting The fight so there’s no need for him to stay fighting at his age

That depends on how he lose, if it's by a controversial decision again, he might still fight.
But if Manny has plans to run for Presidency, then I guess he will remain active in the sports of boxing, no matter who's opponent he will fight.
Most important is he will remain popular and he will continue to make money.
What controversial do you mean?Jeff Horn beat Manny fairly and that’s not controversial same as mayweather so there is no fight that questionable,I am a Pacquiao’s fan from the start of non pro boxing until this very moment but all his fight is fair and for me nothing is not in right decisions

And about the political career, you are right mate that if he has a plan in the highest position then he must remain popular things that he won’t have when he retires early so let’s just wait until 2022 for what the future might bring him and the countrymen

They are now into politics and boxing. Its possible that he can be a president one day, Philippines has elected presidents that end up a disaster and its only now that they have the popular president that's been bad mouthing US lol. Anyway this isn't the first time that pacman is going to fight someone bigger than him and undefeated. It must be a great fight to see on the ring side.

I like that opinions, as a fan we will look for reasons and we will not ended up hating Pacman, he's one of those best fighter that we've seen from this arena, so even he will lose the fight we will still love him as a fighter who gives a lots of enjoyment from this game.

Still believing that he will win and take the advantage being experienced champs.

Technically, he can't just hang up his gloves. I'm sure when he signed with Al Haymon, it could be 3 to 5 fight contract. So this is just his 2nd fight under Premier Boxing, so he will definitely fight win or lose against Thurman.

Pac's version that fought Cotto will annihilate all current 147 lbs champions no doubt.

True that. But at his age though, it will become harder and harder for him to get back to what he was. Age is a real thing, and even if he trains like hell, the closest he could get is to the form he was just after the Money fight, and that is impressive in itself too. Just to think of it, he will always be a top draw fighter, so Al Haymon will most likely milk him till his contract runs out.

He is next in line from what?nope this young fighter has no match for manny
Quote
First, this is a winnable fight for me if we are going to base in on Keith's previous performance. Second, this is a test for Manny, if he win this one then I will assume that Floyd will be next or there is a possibility that he will face Floyd in the future.
But we will see what happen in the end of the game,so let’s get the betting started lol

Dont know why people do say that Thurman is dangerous one.Getting the records of him https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith_Thurman

Still unbeatable with high percentage of knockout.A worthy opponent but experience would be always a great factor.
Nice stats for Thurman and this is like a decider's match for him. Will he retain the no lose position? or will Manny put stain to his record?

Have to say that I am not very impressed with his skills. It' going to be pretty easy for Pacman.
I'm not into both side but they are all different fighters and has different styles. Experience wise, Manny got this but I don't think it would be that easy, we will see on how this fight will create another history for both fighters on July.

I assume if this is going to be a fair fight Manny has the best chance to win here but if this all about the judges who rule the game then chances are Keith Thurman would be unbeatable just like FM. But of course, in the eyes of the audiences, we always know who will win after the fight.

Well, let's just see what this young boy got when faced with the 8-time world champion. Cheesy
Judges is really one of the factor that can affect each fight outcomes. It would really be controversial  if they would make decisions which is oppositely obvious on what world is seeing. They wont risk out their
names unless if its a close fight and wont end up on a TKO then possibility of split decision would happen.

I am not that familiar with Keith Thurman, so I just checked his record and some of the videos of his previous fights. Interestingly, the last time he won through a KO was almost 6 years ago (against Jesús Soto Karass of Mexico). Also, I watched his last match (against Josesito López) in YouTube. Have to say that I am not very impressed with his skills. It' going to be pretty easy for Pacman.

As far as I know he was coming from a long lay-off and that fight against Josesito Lopez is a comeback fight and obviously you will see some ring rust and Lopez was a tough fighter and give everything.

That is why there is a big chance that Manny can win if Thurman will show himself or fight the way he did against Lopez so yeah, it could be some fun and easy fight for Manny.

OK... Pacman will be the overwhelming favorite here... But just for fun.... what will happen if he loses to Thurman? I am sure that none of the users who had posted here would have thought about that possibility. What will happen, in case Pacman takes him too lightly, and with the help of some luck Thurman wins? Very very remote chance.... but still there is a possibility. He is 40 years old... in case he loses this fight, do you think that he'll retire?
About retirement after a loss is highly possible yet he dont need to prove something more yet he already done that.On boxing world, any chances no matter how slim it is there would be a chance for a challenger nor a champion would hit up by a lucky punch which would result into loss.If Pacquiao loss this fight then most people say that its time to retire.

I am a proud countrymen of Manny Pacquiao, even though how many times he will have such a Challenger with young boxer and more in line, I will never give up on him being my favorite sports person. For fighters that wanna be challenging a multiple world champion holder, I am amazed. I think they really have the courage to go against Manny, I salute those boys and hopefully they will going home safely.
With the money on the line, they wouldn't mind getting hurt in the ring just to enjoy after the fight.
Of the many fight Manny had, we can see some boxers who are not really in the right to fight by fully engaging,  but they are just there to survive.

As much as I love Manny since he is my countryman, I do hope that he hangs up his gloves after this Thurman fight. A lot of people will say that Pac can still fight, and I wholeheartedly agree with that. However, we have seen the decline of the power of his punches in the recent years that he has been fighting, and most of that is due to him aging. I mean, the guy is 40 years old. He will lose a significant amount of speed in his footwork and his punches. Thurman, although coming out from his injury is 10 years his junior. The difference between speed and power will be noticable between these two fighters. If this was the Pac around 2012.2013, I'd give him an advantage. But this is not the case, so I will be betting on Thurman, as much as I love and respect Pac.
