Is there any way to see API secret key at bittrex?

not that I'm aware of. Just create another key pair and make sure to save the secret key. Contact marginsoftware with half of the new API key and they'll set you straight.

Thanks;

Jonathan already answered as you suggested,

I sent the new key waiting for new build to download

I am a noob but have decided to take the plunge. I signed up for the demo and learning to use the margin maker strategy. I haven't had a chance to read through the whole thread, but have 2 questions:

  • Can someone please point me to a previous comment that helps out noobs with initial strategies to try with the bot
  • I ran it for 12 hours and the bot did about 10 trades in total - where can I see the P/L for all those trades. I wasn't able to locate this

Thanks

Is it just me or the Polo issues keep crashing the bot, could we maybe get something that it just idles and try to reconnect instead of throwing an exception and crashes?

Would be great

I suggest everyone stop using any bots on Poloniex when they are overloaded. The DDos claim is utter bull. Their systems are always bogging down when they hit more than 35K users. there were almost 40K yesterday. It's down again today too. (still is). No API access is working and tons of people have lost money because of the lag/inability to cancel orders or cover short positions. Scary.

Unless they beef up their systems BIGTIME ASAP, a LOT of people will and are pulling their accounts off there for other exchanges. I might be doing the same too.

On the other hand, Leonardo works very well on GOOD exchanges. :-)

Hi, i've got some questions for all people of the forum who can help me:

1) What other exchanges do you suggest? Bittrex is the best one after Polo? It's good for getting some profit as well?

2) what value do people here use for "min. effective gain"? some suggests -1, some -5, is there any specific market conditions or coins conditions to analyse, in order to set this value correctly?

3) Also, when btc pumps like some days ago, and i have all coins leonAro bought devalueted, what do you suggest I do? Waiting for some days for market recover, and exit in profit ... or sell all coins at market price, take the loss, and try to get some better profit in current ping-pong opportunities? what do you think it's better way to go?

Thnx.

This is hardly the thread for bitching about Polo. Everyone that knows what the fuck they are doing is already quite aware of the issues.
Thank you , needed to be said Wink

Hey. Interesting. Does it allow for stop limite and/or trailing? Thanks in advance

Thanks for your interest in leonArdo.

They are supported in Bitfinex on leonArdo as Bitfinex's API supports those calls.

We have asked Poloniex to add this to their API, but in the meantime are implementing our own emulated version of stop loss and take profit.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Now, that is great news!

I was just going to say, I found 3 buy orders there for the same price. Looks like it couldn't cancel and just kept adding.

Another idea instead of stopping trading is to take most of your coins and put them in margin or lending (if you're using margin.) You don't have to lend them out, but they'd be untouchable by the bot.

I just set them at an extremely low buy or very high sell price using the manual trade. I stopped trading on polo for now as it is way too unstable.

We are looking into it. Was it on Poloniex or Bittrex?

It's Poloniex (as seen on the screenshot), as Poloniex identifies Stellar using "STR", and Bittrex uses "XLM".  (Bittrex doesn't have the "STR" tricker.)

Unfortunately, Polo has been having DDOS and heavy loads lately to the point where it's hard to even trade manually.

I want to personally thank the makers of this bot. I was doing some manual margin trading last night and watching it on the bot (I love the % indicators) and a couple of times during heavy traffic, the margin would disappear (not appear in the first place), but the bot saw it and I could cancel it.

Looking in the app running against Bittrex and I see there is quite a lag between where it thinks the market is and what the real time market is like.  I figured there is going to be lag of some sorts, but I am seeing up to 10 minutes of difference between real time and the app.

What is the expected average lag the app was built around?  Anyone else seeing this kind of delta?

I did notice that it is not the same delta on all markets, but my best one is averaged at 5 minutes of difference.

I'm seeing Bittrex's charts on their own site lag behind the order book. On different browsers, computers, and mobile. 1 minute chart on LTC/BTC is consistently behind 3-5 minutes. Its garbage.

Hey, are there good working settings or experience to some settings?

Happy about feedback

Perhaps your ARM cpu?

That was the culprit and the reason I was asking. leonArdo is available for Intel/AMD only.
Sorry about that, but that would require another build chain and a whole additional architecture to support.
I am afraid we won't have it available for ARM in the short term.
