I haven't participated in a successful IEO.

But from what I observed, it seems to me that IEO's are attracting investors because obviously it is launched or have the backing up of a reputable exchanges. So for projects, no need to market it or at least spend a lot of money. As compare to ICO wherein there are so much hype around it and will open up bounties here in the community. But the sad part is that most of them failed and are not paying their hunters.

there is indeed a price of coins from IEO reaching 200-300%, but that is not the original price of IEO but after pumping it reaches that much. Not all IEOs are successful depending on the market, too, in my opinion. I have participated in IEO at Bittrex and in my opinion there is less interest in following and investing there, but nowadays people prefer IEance to binance over other markets that hold IEO, because there are relatively stable prices for coins triggered through IEO.

OP was looking for marketing options for IEO and ICO. I believe that is a more risk free thing to do but at the cost of your own reputation. There are some members of this forum who are working as community managers. They promote projects to mass media and get a userbase going to attract investors. But rarely few of those projects actually develop something worth value.

So for them it is possible to get a upfront payment, promote it till the project fails then then leave it. They got paid unlike bounty hunters who will cry of scam. Wink

the difference between ICO and IEO is certainly very different in marketing techniques and I have a lot participated in many IEO even though only a little have achieved success. IEO marketing techniques are directly carried out on exchanges and make investors comfortable investing in them, in contrast to ICOs whose sales are carried out in secret and most end up with fraud.

I will not suggest to invest on IEO at all and expecting ICO to comes with some good projects very soon. In marketing side IEO companies does not need to show them out only they will make the marketing funds up.
ICO projects use to reach the every person and investors individually and make the money but IEO doesn't operate like just they give money to exchange.

There's no guarantee on everything specially with crypto and IEO since all of them is risky and it's up to you to research on which of them is best and got low risk but actually I don't find those since as of these days all of them is a big floop. But there are IEO conducted by binance which runs successfully and might it suit you in some matters.

I myself participated a couple of times in the IEO, but I could not make a profit. The last coin on Binance is KAVA, I managed to make good money on the scalp. She kinda was also at IEO if I'm not mistaken.

At first, I was too negative with IEO due to eradicating issues like a scam or any other speculations relating to fraud. But with binance story of success, it was amazing and impressive information about handling IEO projects without any circumstances encountered despite that we're in the bearish trend of the market. I just wonder why some IEO exchange market nowadays weren't able to sustain with the underlying concerns by many, and that their raised coins haven't generated good demands. Maybe its time for them to study how binance do it, and also for the other trading sites to generate the best strategies.

Except for strong conviction on any project this year, i will advise you to postpone any altcoins investment till next year. Also choose the top exchanges for your IEO and do your research on the product. ICO looks to be gone except you can access some project's private sale and that will cough out huge fund. Even at this,invest a considerable amount.

Success for IEO today depends on which exchange they conduct there IEO since if they list on top exchange for sure the hype will start and people will buy and support and we can see as the example on Binance Launchpaud where many Owners earned huge success.

And also choosing a good exchange really an effective tool since if they choose to select the low level one for sure they will failed and there project will be a total flop.

You don't need to have an expert marketer but you only need a someone who can make your project is promoting on the reputable exchange such as binance, OKEx and etc. Through this exchange will surely help to funding your project because as far as I know there are many people who are queue up to participate and being an investor on those exchanges.

But in the other way, you can use this as promotion place and pick some people who has a good reputation on this forum. Such as Yahoo, LoyceV, Hhampuz and the other to being a bounty manager. I believe if you choose their service you will not be regreted and if your project is good and the concept can be interested by many people then you just wait before your project is filled by many investor.
